the files that appear when I havnt opened

Why are there files on my computer that accessed when I have not done. And how are these files that appears at the time when I am connected and looking to other areas?

Hello

You have your computer connected to a network or domain?

Step 1: You can check if the problem persists in safe mode with networking and send back the same. This is perhaps due to some programs running in the background.

Step 2: Alternatively, you can try to perform the clean boot your computer.

I need my files to open in the monitor # 2 I usually have some important information about the number of monitor 1. I need the files to alternate when they are open. One in 2, then one 1.

    Kind regards

How it works is usually the application (explorer.exe is an application) in question is open about everything that monitor his last (final) session was closed the.  Not all applications have this built-in memory, but most do.

I don't think that even something TO manage multiple monitors (this is what it was built for) will do what you are wanting.  ;-)  I see no way of programming of this type of automation.  ;-)

How can I get rid of the box that appears when you start Firefox 'Restore previous Session'?

Subject: House is the default in Firefox 4 home page - look at the address bar containing the addresses of web page - it is the container for Google search, with a 'extract container' and below these elements is the Previous Session Restore button. It's not the same homepage that previous versions of Firefox used (although it is similar in appearance), it is a 'local' page that won't load the Internet.

Set this page as your home page, which is what Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions had for the default home page. He has Previous Session Restore button/link.

  • Open dialog box reorganizes the files that appear in the file text box

I asked about this problem for a while - it still exists under Windows 7 Microsoft apparent feels that it is the correct behavior. In an application using a dialog open, where multiple files can be selected by clicking on them, while the CTRL key is held down, the resulting list of file names appears in the file text box. However, the first clicked file name remains last in the list while others remain in the proper order. Why is this? (An example of application is Windows Media Player, where you do a right click, then click on file and then open. The open dialog box appears and allows the selection of multiple files). When this "feature" has been more boring, it's when I try to create a CD or DVD and I want to control the order of the files.

    Hello RickL - CaryNC, welcome.

This feature is by design. Of course, you can select the files in reverse order. I would really recommend providing feedback about this here:
    http://connect.Microsoft.com/

Other than that, unless you use an alternative shell, the feature is a design problem. Ryan Thieman

  • How to shorten the bar that appears when I click on properties?

When I right click on a bookmark, then go to properties, the bar is also a long time I have to go back to have everything on the screen and see all the information. I'm not sure of the technical name for this information bar. How can I make it shorter? Windows 7, Firefox 20.0.1

Someone posted this trick a few months ago.

When the dialog box is open, press Alt + space. The command window menu should drag it from the left upper corner of the Properties dialog box. Click size, and then press the right arrow once (to select move the right side of the box), and then press and hold the left arrow key for Windows reduces the size of the dialog box. When it reaches the desired size, you can press ENTER to complete the resizing.

    Does it work?

If necessary, Plan B is to rename the settings file that registers the window and dialog sizes and your toolbar customizations.

Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using

Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename localstore.rdf to something like localstore.old

Restart Firefox. Positions and sizes of window and toolbars, should be returned to the factory specifications.

I develop an application that has access to the GPS coordinates and when I try to access appear a message that says "a JavaScript asked the physical location of your device. You want to offer this to the script? Can I block this alert?

  • I'm changing the thumbnail that appears when someone shares my site

I built my site in Adobe Muse CC 2014. Then I tried to share my site on facebook and the thumbnail selection, he collected is completely useless (all random text pieces). I found a few queries on the same kind of thing, and the solution is to add code to the HTML code of the page properties section:

< property meta = "og: image" content = "URL of your thumbnail image" / >

In this code, I need to replace "Your thumbnail image URL" to a picture of my Web site. At first I thought to just add "MountJayDesign.jpg", who told me when I arrived the debugger of facebook to scrape the new my Web site information that wasn't going to work. Realizing that I should add the url and not just the file name, I gave the url where the image is in my website (twice with slight differences in the code):

    (and)

However, I always get this message for both (with the link):

Object to URL ' http://mountjay.com/ ' type 'website' is not valid because the given value 'www.mountjay.com/MountJayDesign.jpg' for the property "og: image: url" could not be analyzed as a type "url".

    I am of course add the information in wrong, if someone could tell me what I did wrong that would be fantastic. Here is the final code I use in my date HTML;

    < property meta = "og: image" content = "www.mountjay.com/Home/MountJayDesign.jpg" / >

    See you soon!

    Hello

    I see two problems,

    1. the url is not good for the image, www.mountjay.com/Home/MountJayDesign.jpg

2 meta property should go in the head section, at the present time, it is under body (if you insert the html code). go to the properties of the page-> metadata-> head. Paste this here and check the site again,

Please let me know if you have any other question.

Icons and active icons, bring to the top

  • How can I make my Web site the image that appears when I access firefox?

It was that, when I became firefox, the screen that came was my Web site. Then people AVG signed with an issue any that I of course answered the wrong way, because now when I access firefox, I get the bloody AVG Web site. How can I fix this back to what it was?

First of all, check your homepage settings in the Options dialog box. These two articles describe where to find who and how to upgrade:

Then, try to press Ctrl + n to start a new window. It should display your home page. If it still shows AVG, either:

    (1) someone posted a screen shot of the screen AVG showing a link somewhere (maybe just less?) that allow you to disable AVG showing up while keeping their extension active. You could try that.

    (2) you can disable one or more of your extensions. There is a good chance that it will be an extension of AVG. You can do this on the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Can find you it?

  • How can I control the image that appears when someone shares a page of my site on Facebook?

I created my site in Muse and it seems awesme.  http://getlumen.com I've added Facebook Like / sharing buttons to pages I want people... Like' =] all this works very well, BUT... the image that is displayed after someone sharing or love the page, is the background image that I used on the Master page design.  No bueno.  Worse yet, sometimes it's the credit card icons that are displayed on the product pages.  Is there a way to 'integrate' a picture in each page that is specific to this page and not an arbitrary iamge of the style Guide, without adding it to the appearance of the page?

Take a look at this related thread on how to do this.

  • How can I reset the page that appears when I open a new tab "white"?

MySearchDial reset my settings in several browsers. I deleted the program, I set my home page and removed the site from the list of engines of research possible, but when I opened a new tab "in white", it always opens with MySearchDial features. I tried the SearchReset extension, it did not work. I tried the subject: config newtab url, that does not work either.

    How to reset it?

Could you take a second look at everything: config?

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) If you check the browser.newtab.url preference, what is he on? These are the typical things:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

If it is already set correctly, but still, you get a white page MySearchDial, one of your other extensions may be the problem.

You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off...

If it indicates that it is locked or refuses to save the changes, Check Control Panel, uninstall a program for a program called research protect and remove that. Locked preference may also indicate the presence of a mozilla.cfg file. If you think that, please post back for more information, by simply removing this file can cause problems.
