The firefox button and the button display the panorama are two disappeared in FF4 RC1

I upgraded to FF4 RC1 two days earlier and noticed that he was missing the button display the panorama and the firefox button, which is supposed to replace the file, edit, view menus etc. had not yet done. So basically, I'm still stuck with the buttons of the menu style FF3.

If you hide the menu bar, you should get the Firefox button. That right-click on a toolbar and deselect the option "menu bar".

For the Panorama button, right-click on a toolbar and then choose Customize to open the Customize toolbar window. Drag the "Groups of tabs" icon to the toolbar, then click done.

  • rounding of Firefox buttons display problem

    Hello

It seems that Firefox has issues with the rounded buttons (AFAIK).

I'll post some screenshots to demonstrate:

    http://screencast.com/t/EJ2wIJMrna

a refresh of the page itself, produces different artifacts of the same nature:

Sometimes, if you refresh a page enough times, you might not get these artifacts.

The Web page on the screenshots is: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/border-radius but I saw this question on a lot of pages, sometimes even on the Google search page.

I am running the most recent version, official, stable Firefox, but I noticed this problem for at least the last 2-3 versions of the browser.

  • Upgrade ver 31 button 'display remote content' is replaced by 'preferences' how to undo this change?

After a recent upgrade to version 31 the show contents button distance was replaced by a Preferences button. Instead of a simple click, I must now click the Preferences button, and then select display remote content. Two clicks vs. sucks one click. I want my back button and I don't always want to display the content. Why this change? I guess that there was a reason, but I don't like and I would like to change back if possible. Is it?

    Thank you
    Danneauxs

He changed a number of reasons. most obvious is that the address book is a bad place for a white list.

Secondly, this change allows enable you areas for images as well as e-mail addresses. given the ban is for security in the first place in that the source of the image is really more relevant than the e-mail anyway.

THUS, there is no I want my single click on the back button. It will not happen. When the new address book comes with the release of the year next (I hope) he will not support the option of white list at all so it won't even be an option of an add-on.

  • I think I have firefox 5 and can not find the orange button on the left, the menus or toolbars so what can do

I have a computer HP dv6-3225dx laptop running Windows 7 and Avast a/v.I think I have 5 ff but am not sure because I can't find the orange button mentioned in the video on start-up, I can find no navigation or toolbars. I've been a loyal user of ff since you first started the latest version of ff 3.6 and never had a pblm like that. I uninstalled Chrome because of this kind of hassle. I'm just an old non-techie who has not had time to re - learn what seems to be a bunch of esoteric stuff. Can you help pls. Email me I can not find my questions on this help page. TKS a lot.

Looks like the Navigation bar is what you have now. What happens when you press the Alt key? You see the Menu bar, at least temporarily until you press another button or click a mouse button. When this Menu bar is displayed, press the V button to open the view menu, and then move the slider on the toolbar and click on the menu bar menu item. The Menu bar should then stay open all the time and you won't need to deal with the orange Firefox button.

  • I installed Firefox 4.0, but I don't get the Firefox Button. Instead, I have the old menu at the top. And I don't get App Tabs or Panorama

After installing 4.0, I get only half of the new look. The tab buttons are at the top now, but above all, all I get is the old style of menu instead of the new "Firefox Button" I've seen demos of. In addition, I have not the features called "App Tabs" or the Panorama.

The new interface is the default on Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. To get it under Windows XP, you must hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".

If you need to access the menus, you can press Alt or F10 to display temporarily.

When you right-click on a tab, you should see the "Pin as App tab Code" option. For more details, see https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/what-are-app-tabs

Panorama, also known as groups of tabs is well hidden. For more information on how to access them, see https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/what-are-tab-groups

  • The Firefox button is not displayed

I recently installed Firefox 4.0. With the exception of a few hiccups, everything is fine, except for one thing: there is no Firefox button. Instead, it has all the menus of the same as in previous versions of Firefox. I couldn't find anything in tools = > options to change this.

    • You see the button Firefox orange (gray Linux) if the menu bar is hidden (view > toolbars > customize or right click on a toolbar).

    • See "Firefox > customize > tabs at the top" to place the tab bar in both positions.
  • The latest version of Firefox will NOT update on my laptop or desktop, and the "firefox" button has disappeared. How to fix?

I tried to update Firefox on my desktop since version 33.0 I continue to download and upgrade or install day, but nothing changes. Gmail still says the browser is not supported, and Mozilla says I use an older version and need to update. I downloaded from different places - the links provided when he said outdated sound and go directly to Mozilla.org for download. In fact, I uninstalled Firefox and tried to install instead of upgrade. It does not help. My computer says I have the latest version, but the internet plays an older version. Also my "firefox" button and another add on buttons are missing from the navigation bar, so I can't check 'about' to see what version of the browser itself says that it is running. How can I fix it? I use Firefox for years and this is the first problem I had that I can't fix.

And... your check of software I actually running version 11. Clearly, it is not up-to-date.

Thank you very much! I had this same problem. I'd rather have my tabs at the top, in line with the orange. For some reason any that an add-on reset my 'browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar' to false, which looked horrible and wasted a whole bar of space by the presence of a large space empty on the top of my screen. It fixed my problem!

  • Is it possible to customize the Firefox Button and if so, how?

I love the whole upward with the Firefox button, but find I have to go into options and add the Tools menu bar (which I use often). I do not keep the menu bar showing that it takes too much space on the screen. Is it possible to add the functions of the menu bar for the Firefox button, and if not, may I suggest this as a future feature, as some of the functions of the menu bar are already on the Firefox button. As there is plenty of space may put all the options of the menu bar on the Firefox button and completely get rid of the menu bar!

There is an add-on to customize the Firefox button. I have not installed/used the add-on. If you are adventurous, it's here:

"I still have the idea of putting all the menus in the menu bar on the Firefox button for us users without keyboard shortcut." How about it Firefox? »

We are all volunteers without compensation here to help other Firefox users. Elements of the Firefox key decisions were made by developers, and your question about it will probably not be heard by the developers to post in this forum. Maybe the add-on which above will solve the problem for you as long as the developer of the add-on retains support and update.

  • I use Firefox 4.01 and there is no FIREFOX button in the upper right corner of the browser. This is supposed to be a novelty, but it isn't there?

I've just updated to firefox 4.01. In the new features page, it shows a FIREFOX button and a new look to the page with more new features... However, my browser updated resembles the old with no new features. I've updated two computers with the same results. Why have I not new features?
