The folio cover problem

I have a problem trying to use folio cover that is the right size, but I get this error message when I try to import:

And these are the settings I use when exporting to jpg format to import:

Try to open your exported in Photoshop file and look at the size of the canvas to see if it is actually 768 x 1024.

I have always to create a PDF of the page and which open in Photoshop to make adjustments before using save for Web option to create the PNG or JPG file. I found sometimes when I export id I find myself with a file slightly larger or smaller than expected when I open it in Photoshop.

  • Customized with Folios in the background window problem

    Hello everyone,

    I made several different applications of multifolio in Dps App Builder with a custom storefront for iPad and still the same result:

    The custom before store works well except that the folios are playing in the background, behind the custom store Front

    I'm sure that I can hear them playing (but not showing them) and when I go to the iOS Desktop and return to my app, I can see the picture of my Folio playing 1 second and disappears behind the Store Front custom.

    I don't think that my Custom custom store Front is broken, because when I use the Adobe Server default_library_v3 it does the same thing (HTML implementation of the library by default DPS |) Adobe Developer Connection.

    For default_library_v3, I changed only my own info in Config.js to show my own folios.

    Someone has an idea?

    Problem solved.

    I have download my custom in the 'screen options' window (screen 1 of Dps App Builder) instead of the 'source zip library' (form 3 of the Dps App Builder).

    A noob mistake

    Now my window custom covers not more my Folios.

    My problem lasted 2 weeks... I work around a few tutorials, thinking that I could handle myself.

  • Problem updating articles in the Folio Builder Panel

    I'm trying to update the items in the Folio Builder Panel in InDesign CS6 and I get the following error message: happy build error. Could not open the file. Please confirm the file can be opened in the current version of InDesign. The only option it gives me is to cancel the update. I've only worked in CS6, and I've updated these same items previously. I just get a new upgraded computer here at work, updated to OS 10.8.2 and works on an iMac. I had to have my tech staff to reinstall DPS for CS6 desktop tools. Is there something else I'm missing or not do? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    My problem has been resolved with the help of technical support Adobe. Here is the solution:

    Many times there are volumes network came up with the name "users." This can lead to confusion between the local path:

    / Users

    and the network path:

    / Volumes/users

    1. in the Finder, select the menu command Finder > Preferences.

    2. in the general Panel, check the option "connected servers" is selected under the heading "show these items on the desktop:", then close the Preferences dialog box.

    3. choose the menu command Finder > hide others.

    4. close all open Finder Windows to ensure that you can see all the items on your desktop.

    5. If you find what appears to be a volume mounted with the 'users' name, control + click on its icon, then choose the context menu command Eject "users."

    6. Add or update your article (s).

    The reason for this problem did not come on my old machine, it was my drive of the user has not been configured correctly by an official old tech at my company (I wasn't aware of because I had no problem). Then I got my new iMac and all my servers were mapped correctly, and then I came across this problem.

  • Upgrade memory concerning problems with the removal of the access cover and G560

    Hi, this is my first post here - you just bought myself a Lenovo G560 after the disappearance of my HP nx6325.

    The product I bought has only 2 GB of RAM and so I bought an extra chip to 2 GB of Crucial, who arrived here this morning.

    I started to follow the instructions of the manual to remove the system cover to access memory locations, but after removing the 2 screws in the middle of the Panel and unscrewing 5 screws on the perimeter, the cover seems more reluctant to jump off. Apparently not a significant piece of plastic and I worry of breaking.

    I tried gentle pressure under the lip with a table knife, but the cover doesn't seem to move - it bulges just straight up at that time. I checked and double-checked that I removed the 2 screws in the Center and completely loosened the other 5... He usually need some force to remove it, or I am doing something stupid?

    Yes, needs a bit of strength. But not with a knife!
    Just a strong pull with your finger.

    I have the same series but the screw is somehow attached to the lid and there is also a small source. Repair shows the coverage of service without any screws so can't tell you what exactly it is. I suggest to buy a few screws on ebay like this:

    The screw is certainly a phillips 2.5 and length is 11 or 12 mm. 2.5x12 is defined in the screw.

    The cover image that appears on newsstands is the image that you specify in App Builder or the cover image of the portrait of the folio published after a push notification is sent.

    The images and information that you specify in iTunes Connect affects what appears in the App Store and iTunes but has no effect on the image of the newsstand cover.

  • How to prepare the folio for prior approval from Apple, but not visible on Android?

    Quite possible I just forget something, but it doesn't make sense to me. We have already active application in the App Store and the Google game, with a lot of questions for sale. Now we must prepare a special issue, which will go on sale next week or something like that. So I want to prepare the purchase app for prior approval. Now, we do not have full Folio, just one with a dummy cover.

    Martin, I've confirmed this with a tester. He said, 'on Android (Google Play), the customer will see all public folios because Google does not provide an API to check what is available for purchase on their servers. On Amazon AppStore applications, the folio must not be visible. »

  • Help needed - "cannot download the folio on your local drive.

    (WARNING: for the first time post :-))

    I have trouble downloading my folio published. During the last 24 hours I repeatedly get the following error (after a long wait with the status 'Preparation content by downloading... ") on different computers (Mac/PC) and browsers:

    An error occurred during the export of the folio

    Could not download the folio on your local drive

    My first version is delivered to an Android app (created using the viewer Builder) and has been incorporated into an iOS app (also created using View Designer).  All this worked without any problems and I can export this now.

    In order to optimize the folio for the new iPad, I decided to use the PDF option that required me to rebuild the folio.  The content is identical to the bar a few dates changed from 2011 to 2012.  I just need to export the folio so I can incorporate into an update iOS application.  The folio is not (at this stage) given to the Android app.

    I hope someone can help :-)

    Edit: Using the new Adobe Content Viewer I see TWO versions of the folio - one with the lightning bolt blue - but maybe that's normal?

    Thanks for the reply.  After a lot of testing, I discovered that my preview of the cover images were the problem.  I've been using PNG files and when I used the versions JPG export worked.

    Maybe that's a one-time problem, but I thought I'd share the solution in any case.

  • Reference Dell 922 All In One Printer the cartridge cover

    I'm unable to close both lids of cartridge (black and color) in this printer. However, they all have two close when the cartridge is not inside. I thought it was not aligned, but once this was fixed, it does not close. Anyone else having this problem?

    I solved my problem.  It had to do with the cartridge cover.  Inside of the cartridge cover a piece was almost detached and got in the way when you try to close the lid.  Needed to ensure that it was flat against the cover and I was able to close the lid.

    I found the problem.  The new installation of BlackBerry Protect caused the time and date and other above disappearing icons.  I have since deleted the application and everything was restored.

  • Creation of the folios for Android

    Dear Adobe community,

    before this started, I get:

    • I'm using InDesign CS6 Digital Publishing Suite,
    • running on a Professional subscription
    • and I'm not a native speaker. So please take pity with me ;-)


    Some time ago, I created ten folios through an application multi-folio with in-app purchases for the Apple iStore, ran into some issues (which have been resolved by Bob Bringhurst, thank you once again) and now I want to develop for Android. The creation itself was easy, that slips are already online, but do not without falling on key issues.

    To define my problem:

    • The splash screen does not. Only, it takes as much space as possible and grows around a third of the screen. Is there a "fit screen" - box, I missed?
    • The graphics look "rough", naked pixels in a sort of 8-bit-look without the edges soft (or feathers), even if they are PDF. I can't convert them to JPEG format, because I use the same folios as I do for Apple.
    • The effects of the erasure of all overlays are also rough. Slide shows, for example, are punching through their content, without letting that images fade out in the next. Maybe it's important to mention: they were created through the slide show option in the Folio Overlay-menu. The same problem occurs with all the contents that appear and disappear. For example: If you activate a card with a button (i.e. telling the app, to pass the object to the empty state 1 in filled State 2), the application takes one second and the map appears hard, smashing into the window from one moment to another, without the bland smooth as it does on Apple products.
    • And after some time, a minute or two, the application crashes, leaving the customer blocked for a moment, before him eject to the main screen of his camera.

    So far, this is my problem. Honestly, I feel that I missed a few easy step, but necessary for the expansion of Android. Now, the look of folios as some pre-pre-alpha release an Android (with dull graphics and blocks every 60 seconds), while they work fine and smooth on Apple.

    I would be grateful for any advice.
