ORIGINAL TITLE: problem of update of Windows vista edition Home premium
I just bought a laptop Toshiba of ebay, in excellent condition, the operating system is windows vista Home premium and the system is X 86 based. I have no trouble getting security updates or anyothers with the exception of SP1. When I do a windows update installation, it is said it was installed successfully, but when you look at the list update installed, it doesn't stand and she also works not highlighted on the sys.info page. I have already run the windows update fix the tool several times, but it doesn't solve the problem. Also update keeps telling me to install the SP1 package. I think that the number on the pack is KB96330 (not sure but I'll check in a few minuets when I go home for lunch). What should I do to get SP1 + 2 installed?
.. .he had appeared as if it was handed to the way in which it left the factory.
Looks can be deceiving, especially for what it is bought on eBay.
[If you bought used shorts Jockey on eBay, would you wear them before you had washed in water hot & bleach?] I hope not! ]

Hey Papi Williams,
Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum.
From the description of the problem, it seems that you are unable to download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player on your computer. I understand the inconvenience.

Original title: at Microsoft course to resolve this ONGOING problem, & VERY BORING PROBLEM with his Windows security updates?
Morning everyone,
There was considerable number of complaints about the failure of Microsoft to solve the problem with its updates of Windows, including updates security for XP, Office 2003, the removal tool malicious and the infamous KB2538242! I saw these varied complaints not just here, but on some other sites as well forum.
In the evening of Tuesday, July 12, 2011, I once more has received notification of Update icon in my taskbar and clicked on it to start the updates. According to the list, there were 5 so-called updates downloaded & installed... as shown below: (my auto-mises update is updated every day at 01:00):
KB2555917 (a security update for XP)
KB2538242
KB2493523 (a security update for Office 2003)
KB890830 (updated Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool)
KB2507938 (a security update for XP)
SUPPOSEDLY... .these updates have been installed. But, just as happened previously, Microsoft Update icon still reappears in my taskbar within 20 minutes the so-called updates being completed! Yet once, I went through this cycle of "download & installation" these supposed updates 4 different times before visiting the account that Microsoft has NOT YET SOLVED THIS CURRENT QUESTION! There is absolutely NO help is available, whether of Microsoft at all... except if you're loaded with money to spend on paying them to offer some apology for the problem. Here ARE the UPDATES security AND in accordance with the PROTOCOLS of MICROSOFT, MICROSOFT IS supposed TO BE PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR THE QUESTIONS OF THIS TYPE!
When the problem instead of turning its back on its customers with the blade go Microsoft to wake up and solve this problem continues is to excuse this "oh, there is no support available for these security update issues... unless you are willing to PAY SOME COSTS FOR the SERVICE? (It was the response I got from one of the support staff for the customer to Microsoft by phone, said by the way!)
You VERY DEFINITELY have an ongoing responsibility to your Microsoft customers. What you do to solve this maddening, growing problem, and how a Win XP SP3 client can get any help?
Welcome & thank you for your comments.
Please keep us informed of any progress you make, Pete.

Windows Live Essentials installed successfully, but only appears in the list of programs
Original title:
I uninstalled windows live essentials. I tried several times to re-installed windows live essentials and although, according to him, it installed successfully, the program does not appear on my list of programs or anywhere else that I can find
In addition to the search for the application, check if the program is actually installed:
Click on start, and then navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Live
If you are using 64-bit Windows, navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows LiveNone is?
If there is, try to open one of the programs files and run it to check if its working or not.Assuming that the programs do not work, you could create a new shortcut to the programs. Otherwise to see if the problem is with a corrupted profile, try to create a new user account and check whether or not the programs are listed.

Printing wireless upgrade kit installed successfully, but keep himself reinstall!
I have Windows Vista and an HP Photosmart C5200 printer. I installed the printer and the wireless
Printing upgrade kit.
That is the problem. The printer gets disconnected and will then relocate several times throughout the day. I find myself with the printer, then printher 1, then printer 2 then 3 printer, then printer 4... you get the picture.
This is a problem that I have not found an answer, and it drives me crazy.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times, mise put up-to-date drivers, said the patch - without help.
If I try to install the software for the kit wireless on HP site, it stops and freezes at the "interim current 90% and overall progress - installation adapter PC driver 10%.". I was stuck there for days, re-tried several times with the same problem.
I can reinstall the software from the cd, get the patch, but will still have the problem of "reinstall itself" several times a day.
Any ideas?
Hi dimarcolene,
It seems that you are having problems with the kit of reduction to maintain your network information. Follow the steps outlined in the document below. If you continue to have questions you should consider a new printer with a built-in wireless radio. Let me know what you find?

Self-signed certificate installed successfully but with VR error device
HI gurus,
I'm in the middle of the upgrade of RS 5 5.1 RS for replication of vSphere.
I'm trying to install and register the device VR 5.1.
On the configuration tab I filled out the Info: and tried to produce the certificate and start the service.
It comes up with the following msg.
Self-signed certificate installed successfully.
WARNING: Bad service state: execv() arg 2 must contain only strings.
The info I have completed are as follows:
VRM Host: ip address of host vrm
Name of the Site of VRM: virtual site of DR (FQDN) appliance
vCenter Server Address: address of the server vCenter DR FQDN
vCenter Server Port: 80
vCenter Server Admin Mail: e-mail administrators
Thanks in advance!
Here's your answer...
Edit the/etc/sysconfig/network/config file.
Find this line:
NETCONFIG_DNS_STATIC_SERVERS = «»
Change the line and put a DNS server IP address in quotes.
Restart your device and try again.
Edit: Still one thing, make sure that you deploy the version of the appliance corresponds to your version of vCenter. vCenter Server 5.5 uses the replication device 5.5, 5.1 VC uses 5.1 etc.

Flash player installed successfully, but not always works not.
I tried to install the latest update of flash player for Firefox as a plugin and it says successful but I still don' t have it. It still shows this yellow bar indicating additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page. When I click on install missing plugins... I just saw the flash player plugin, which should of already "successfully" downloaded before.
Hi, your system is 64-bit and you use just the 32-bit browser?
You are not looking for it, you're going right there through Control Panel (add/remove for XP) & configuration/programs of control features
Thank you

Hello
After a Mac update, flash player (with silverlight) asked to be installed when I tried to watch the video content or play games. I installed flash player, and it indicates success and appears in my apps. However, I can't watch videos or play games, whenever I ask me to install flash player again and again and again. I suspect it has something to do with the plugins, but I'm not sure. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled but it still does not work. I check my security settings and it does not allow plugins. I deleted my temporary internet files. I don't know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated! It's incredibly frustrating. Thank you
In Safari, go to Preferences > Security
Make sure to allow JavaScript and Plugins allow are checked
Click on manage Web sites
On the left, choose Adobe Flash Player, and then ensure that always allow is selected.
I hope this helps. While you're there, you see something like AdBlock Pro Ghostery, Badger to private ScriptBlock, NoScript, etc in the list on the left?

Shield yellow announcing updates are ready to be installed appears. I enable it and select "install". He did his thing and in a few minutes, told me that updates are installed. I close the dialog box and the yellow shield reappears. Same problem, same level of security fixes (972270 & 982132). What should I do about it?
