• Need help: missing Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Quick Selection tool.

  Hello everyone, one

  I'm in a strange problem. Tool for the quick selection of my Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is missing. The magic wand is there. But there is no small black arrow on this topic, click and move to the quick selection. There is no way that I can use quick selection. Press the W button opens only the magic wand. I believe that my software is broken. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling software and use custom and made sure all components have been selected during the installation, but it does not help. I tried the regular Setup Install 7.0 as well as creative cloud. For both, the quick selection tool is still missing. If someone could help me solve this problem, it will be very useful.

  Correct, there is no quick selection tool in Photoshop version 7, The Cloud Creative offers three versions of Photoshop.  Photoshop CS6 version 13, CC Photoshop version 14 and CC 2014 Photoshop version 15 all versions have the quick selection tool.

• Patterns with the Selection tool and the tilde.  Is it still available in CC2015?

  I used to be able to move freely the fill pattern without moving the object.  This was done by pressing the tilde (~) key on the keyboard and moving the model of the object with the direct Selection tool. I tried to look to see if there were updates.  There is no announcement for this change, but it seems that the only way to move a boss now thanks to the transformation and typing is X / coordinates or moving X / coordinated its activities with the arrow key.  Please help, this change has made it much more difficult to move the models!

• Elliptical selection tool - "no attention WARNING: no pixels are selected to more than 50 percent." The edges of the selection will be not visible.

  I am convinced that it is a bug in Photoshop CC 2014. I am on Windows 7, 64-bit. The 2014.2.2 version, and the version is 2014.204.r.310 x 64. If I select a zone by using the Rectangle tool, the area is described as usual. However, if I use the elliptical selection tool and select the same area, I get the warning. Even if I fill the region using the paint bucket, I always get error if I try to select using the elliptical framing box. Is always successful with the rectangle. I've seen other users re issues. the lasso tool with the same behavior and warning. The usual answer has been put at the edge of the feather to 0. However, it is by default (on my system) to 0.0. Using the selector to improve the contour and by replacing the value 0 (or any other value) makes no difference and in fact after this and clicking OK, the warning screens.

  Is this a bug with the elliptical selection tool? I've updated Photoshop just before submitting this question, and the behavior is unchanged.

  There are different possibilities to solve this situation. Try one of the following options;

  • Decrease the radius of softening of the selection tools,
  • Increase the size of the selection
  • Increase the size of the image (this may decrease the quality of your image),.
  • Ignore the warning message and keep going to work on your file (remember that your selection is still there).
  • Also, make sure that you selected and the targeting of the correct layer.

  You may prefer to set the feather to zero in on the selection tools and use the pen (Ctrl + Alt + D) command for each specific selection. Using the feather command does not change the parameter of smoothing (zero value) on selection tool, so you don't need to wory on previous selections feather RADIUS.

• [URGENT]! rectangular selection tool Illustrator does not work with the height adjustment!

  Other tools work well by also the single rectangular selection tool a problem whenever I try to adjust the size.

  I tried ' see the box (shift + command + B) limit, but it still does not work.

• Why my cursor does not change when I click on the selection tool?

  When I open any file, the object - in this case, an image - is already selected.

  
  

  I want to enlarge the image, so I click the buttons to do that. Normally, I would choose 125% or 150%, but menu drop-down does not open. I tried clicking on the arrow up/down of the arrow buttons. Nothing happened. I tried a double-tap on the numbers to enter a percentage; small blue horizontal bars appear on either side of the default value '100' as if the machine tries to highlight the number, but can't.

  I have installed and uninstalled InDesign several times to correct this and related problems.

  1. Installed since the problem of media - original - met - uninstalled and reinstalled disks - unresolved problem.
  2. Installation files downloaded from Adobe. Same result.
  3. Uninstalled and reinstalled InDesign only. Still no go.
  4. Updates computer back to factory settings, created Office for CS4 installation, point installed CS4 from there. Still no go.

• Lost the Nik selective tool box display in CS6

  I have accendentally clicked on the 'x' and lost the rest of my Nik tools on the right panel. The software is still in "filters". 1 box remains as stated. How to restore the display of set values lost tools in the control panel?

  Is it possible, if this happens again, I can save the workspace CS6?

  I suspect the problem you are experiencing, is to find someone who uses Nik filters.  I have not, although I have several plugins "Topaz".  Anyway, a quick glance on the Nik help pages found this, which might be what you're looking for

• Cursor does not change with the selection tool

  If anyone has experienced this?  My cursor suddenly does not change with the selection tools when working on the photos.  Once I roll over the image, the arrow disappears and becomes a strange 3 little things, so cannot do any work with precision.  Still using 7 PS in Windows 7.  It wasn't a problem before.  Already uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem is still there.  I searched where this can be corrected.  So far, no luck.  Any suggestions?

• Movement of the elliptical selection tool

  Hello.  Really hoping someone can help me with a problem I have with the elliptical selection tool. After you select this tool and draw an oval shape on my image, I know I should be able to move the oval image around the screen, using the arrow keys (I think), until he frames the part of the image I want framed.  However, the arrow keys do not work for me in order to move the oval autour. When I press the arrows on the keyboard, I can see my cursor moving through the icons of Photo effects to the right of the Editor window (version 6 elements). Is anyone know how can I be sure the arrows on the keyboard to move the oval or does anyone know of any other way of making the oval move around the image?

  I did not talk about what happens when you try to reset before preferences.

  You can manually reset that could bypass the shortcut keyboard keys, but I wonder why Vista is supported for this shortcut... and if it interferes with them in Photoshop Elements. I can't browse the net at the moment...

  In any case, here is the manual way to reset the preferences file... Although I think that it could not be of use if Vista isn't free of shortcuts to the application.

  I would recommend going back and still hide once you are finished, manually rename the preferences.

• Selection tool is not the tail with images when you drag

  So I had this frustrating thing for a while. When I put my selection tool a video file at first to move to the side or another layer and as soon as, like moving the selection tool a bit, he places automatically the video one layer under my selection tool...   Went on the Chat with Adobe and they solved the problem via remote access.

  First on erase my personalized workspaces closed first pro. Then went to my "documents" (I have a mac) 'Adobe' and then click 'Premiere Pro' and moved three files named "6.0" "9.0" and "10.0" in a new folder, that they named "Od." Finally they opened back first. When the box came to put everything in place, they went up to the top of the window and deselected "import the project workspace" under "workspaces". I have opened a project and it fixed the problem. I had to make a new workspace and change some shortcuts custom back, but other that that, it was back to normal.

  You're out of space. Some toolbar has been resized/re-spaced in the last update. Click on the menu button (on the far-right in your screenshot) and select Customize... Make sure that the mounting frame (object) is selected. If this is the case, you should disable something else to make room for this group of button.

  Furthermore, I see that your application window is not maximized. What happens if you expand to the maximum it?

  The best way would be to make sure that your layer is not a background layer: click the lock icon in this case. Then click the icon at the bottom of the layer panel layer mask. This will create a mask that you can refine and not be destructive.

  I have installed a mac OX S El Capitan and the latest version of Adobe Illustrator. When I create a form, rektangel or something like that, or add an image I can't change size with the neither selection tool or shape. The shape only has points in the corner and I can not use them at all. I reinstalled, but the problem remains.

  How can I solve this problem? A ppreciateall the answers that can help!
  

  Go to view-> see the area delimitation

  This will bring the bounding box while you are in the selection tool.

• Save the selection tool doesn't let me save my current document!

  Then all of a sudden, when I tried to save a selection with the magic wand tool / quick selection tool, it would allow me to record in the current and only open the document in Photoshop. Instead, the only option is for me, to save to a new document, and it just opened a new document. I had been save playlists for the document very well and all of suddenly it is just didn't give me the option more. When I something, charge, however, the name of the document is there and all my previously saved selections. I am enclosing pictures of me trying to save a selection and load me a selection. All ideas to be able to save my selections yet?

  How many channels you have in the Panel layers? Window > channels to see.

  You are allowed 53 alpha channels in an RGB document as mine shows the same thing after clicking on the max.
