the home of Windows 7 Desktop with touch screen and the problem is "not authentic."

I have a windows 7, but lately its been said that is not true and that I have a counterfeit. A person or an HP agent will be able to help me or guide me in this process of solving this problem?

According to Microsoft, Windows activation is valid during the initial Setup.  If you change the device, it can falter, because it will do a periodic test.

(1) if I have activated Windows, why is Windows on my computer not authentic?

Genuine Windows is a recurring process that checks your product key to ensure that it is used with the material, he has been associated during activation. If the product key appears as not authentic or not valid, it is likely that the product key is used on another computer or is a counterfeit.

(2) I need to activate Windows after making a hardware change?

Perhaps. When you make a significant hardware change to your computer, such as upgrading the hard disk and memory at the same time, you may be required to activate Windows again. For more information, see Activate Windows 7 on this computer.

  • 9800 torch Touch Screen and Trackpad problem

Our application adds buttons only on devices that support the touch screen.

The reason why we do this is because if you have a selected item in a list field and press the getSelectedIndex returns the correct index on a touchscreen.

Add this button on a trackpad/trackball device would not work properly because you can't the selected list box item and then click the button. You need to scroll this button first, the getSelectedIndex in this case would be the first clue or the last index according to the place where the button.

If anyone has a solution or suggestions please post. I'll also post updates and a solution if I find one.

We had the same problem when we added a toolbar style touch the foot of some screens that contains a list field.

Our solution: vertical movement of pointer changes the selection of the list, while the horizontal movement jumps down to the toolbar, but leave the current selection in the list where it is.

May not work for your particular application, but seems to be accepted in our.

What are alternatives to restore my error active desktop with touching registry in windows xp?

    Hi Zahid,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

According the information you have provided, I understand that you have found an active desktop error Windows XP.

I will certainly help you in this matter.

Were there any changes made to the computer before the show?

Most of the time active desktop errors are related to the corruption of the registry.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Using the touch screen and the touch pad at the same time on Windows 8

How can I use my touchpad and my touchscreen Windows 8? I use Acer and it seems that whenever I get I have TO use the touch screen and my cursor is non-existent. I'm sure there will be a setting I can change to be able to use both at the same time, but so far I can't find answers online or elsewhere.

    Help, please!

    Hello green,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

What is the model number of your PC Acer laptop?

Thank you for your query details.

I also like the fact that you want to use the touch screen and press the key at the same time.

Unfortunately, it is not possible. However, you can use touchpad of precision which uses a variety of touch gestures to get around your computer. Touchpad different gestures are provided in this article.
    Reference:

You can also make changes to its settings to adjust the duration that your touchpad stays off as you type so that you can avoid accidentally tapping the touchpad with your thumb and move the cursor.

    I hope this information helps.

  • HP Pavilion PC 11-n010tu x 360: update Windows 10 - touch screen and Rotation works not

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help?

I upgraded my Windows PC 8.1 to Windows 10.  Since the upgrade of the touchscreen / screen rotation functions are no longer available or work.

I noticed that the touchscreen HID device is not installed and I think the same for the rotation of the screen.

Installation / upgrade didn't / Dopes not recognize that the device is a touch screen and model when checking windows itself declares there is no stylus or touch input available for this view?

I remember a similar problem with the upgrade of Windows 8 to 8.1.  Can anyone suggest how the features of screen rotation and touch screen can be restored?  He was under the rpevious windows version?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

Loaded the latest drivers from HP today and the problem seems to be resolved.  Operation of toch screen is back.  Screen rotation is back.  Thank you HP.

Windows update fails with error [error number: 0x800A0007]-which is not listed, so unable to update the system

    The other post:

Thank you for your reply - but the problem persists - this is mopre complete info.
The system starts well and runs - BUT I cannot now be updated because when I access "Windows Update" it always returns this error message.
Also, none of the messages in your "appliesto" step 2 recommended link will be applied effectively.
As far as I know - we have a standard system and I just ran again ONCE a full system virus etc check - all clean.
Also your "Mr Fixit" was performed several times, but nothing changes.
Because it enters the update process, and then always closes with this specific message (which as I said is NOT in your list of error messages), which SHOULD tell your software writers where is the problem.
This is what is happening in the process of updating before it fails:
    Keep your computer up-to-date
Check to see if you need updates for Windows, your programs, your hardware or your devices.

Get updates of high priority (recommended)

Select among the priority and optional updates for Windows and other programs

... and it does not matter if I say "express" or "custom" - headed then:

Checking for updates for your computer...

but fails after a few seconds with the same message as follows:

Fields on several Internet sites have been changed in another language. The browser is set to English, and this problem does not occur with Chrome. Specifically, a large part of Tumblr and Facebook menu has been changed in another language (Russian, I think). I tried reinstall Firefox, clear the cache and reset firefox to its default state. None of them helped. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Hey again,

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

More information can be found in the article troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware .
