The Illustrator then crash effects previewed or apply - Mac 10.11

In aid of Illustrator CC on a new installation of Mac 10.11, when I try to apply an effect (specifically the outer glow) if I select overview the program crashes if I try to apply it also fails.

I tried to put out an excerpt of the GPU, but it made no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated because it prevents me from opening my previous files as well (they crash just at the opening).

This problem has been resolved by the last update to Illustrator. What does Adobe have addressed, very nice work

    However, I tried to do and it doesn't seem to be an option to reinstall when my account management. I also tried once again, the redemption code to reset, but it tells me that I am already logged under that number, so I'm stuck. Don't know what to do at this point, thank you.

    I found another thread that said changing the display processor instead of GPU and contributing to the issue that is. I would rather not reinstall the software at this time.

  • Trail of the Illustrator CC crashing

    Downloaded Illustrator CC trail, the application closes after about 3 seconds opening... works on 8.1 Windows 64 bit. Don't know what to do and that my time is wither... thought about unistalling and reinstalling, but I do not know if the trail will continue? Or if the same problem arises? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    I did the thing of disabling modules, doesn't seem to work. I have a similar set up on my laptop and it works perfectly, as I tried to reinstall firefox.

    And a step easier than to create a new profile for Firefox is to first try Firefox Reset. It's easy to save your data and solves a lot of problems with a single click. I'd give it a try before anything else

    To reset Firefox, perform the following steps:

    1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
    2. Click on the button 'Reset Firefox'.
    3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
    4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

  • I backed up my iPhone 3GS on iTunes. Back up seemed to go OK. iTunes then prompted me to update the iOS that I did. The phone then crashed. I did a factory restore. The backup that I did was not there. Can I recover the loss upward in anyway?

    If you go to iTunes and watch your backups, you don't see one that was made today? Did you see an indication of the backup was not successful? What version of iOS is the device that you have been asked to update? It was not an iOS for the iPhone 3GS update in a while. Regarding the photos and videos, you had never taken the time to import them on the computer?

    Hi, I read the last forums on this and I'm having a real problem yet. I have a Mac, my ADE is version 1.7 and my Sony reader is a 505. Can I download an ebook in ADE but I can't it in size to add it to my Sony, everytime I try a trail transversely he won't let ADE. I can't add it through calibre that the file and the library option is grayed out. I tried to allow the sony on the PC original I used it on and I just bought the new mac, but couldn't find this option anywhere. Please help, its driving me crazy OE and I'm not very technical! Thanks in advance.

    You make it too complicated - just copy the file on the drive from Sony using the Finder.  If you don't know where is the file, Digital Editions lists the location in the dialog box more information.

    Note This will not work for books that you got from a library.  The only way to get these books on a Sony Reader successfully is to use Digital Editions on Windows.

  • Flash will load audio but not video... and then crashes...

    Flash will load the audio from a video, but the video display will be green.  The player then crashes.  Initially, this was just my videos from YouTube.com, but now I have problems with Windows Media Player Classic (and sometimes with Windows Media Player).  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times.  Flash is not displayed in my programs, but can I uninstall in Control Panel.

    I have Windows 7 and 64-bit.

    I use the 10.3.181.34 version.  According to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ I have a flash installed successfully.  Yes, I see the image.

    As soon as I read 'green' in any position, the first thing that comes to mind is to disable hardware acceleration.  Right-click on the Flash Player test page and select settings.  Then on the display panel uncheck "enable hardware acceleration".

  • Illustrator CC - CRASHES when create/open the new document.

    My CC Illustrator crashes when:

    -When I open any *.ai file saved on my drive

    -When I try to create the new file

    I can open the Illustrator (empty, without any document) but as soon as I want to open a document or create (file/new) it immediately blocks wit "Illustrator unresponsive" and it closes.

    I tried to reinstall, but it did not help.

    I have 9 (had for 10 days) PC with Windows 8.1

    Yesterday, Illustrator has worked without problem. Today it may simply not work.

    The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

    (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

    I use the latest version of illustrator CS5 on a MacBook Pro Intel Core Duo, the rest of my work of Master Collection ok except illustrator

    To add to this, in case your trash folder settings and happens again, you have right or control click on the folder of the settings in the preferences and select Get Info and search for property and permissions and you can change it there to read/write.

    But when you do this, click the icon of padlock at the bottom of the window, read the information and then enter your username and password at the bottom of the Get Info there is a gear as icon with a down arrow it will allow you to apply the change to all content in the folder read/write settings.

    To search for the folder settings

    1. quit Illustrator.
    2. go to user/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe illustrator CS5 Settings and parameters, the entire record of the trash not only the contents of the folder...
    3. launch Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

    Click on the Finder and search options listed next to icon located Apple in the upper left of the screen and click on the "Go" menu button and select 'utilities '.

    Look for a CC Adobe and Adobe Application Manager folder under utility window and trash both folders.

    Step 2)

    Trash Adobe Creative cloud folder from Applications as well.

    Step 3)


    (1) right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select the option "Go-ToFolder .

    (2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. (Don't miss ~ symbol)

    (3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe.

    Reboot safe mode (it is a slow process):

    -stop of the mac

    -Start up the mac in shift, press and hold until you see appear it to progress bar, so you can let go

    -When everything started, connect

    -Once connected, stop the mac once again, nothing else is necessary.

    -restart normally.

    I suggest that you configure the computer to start in minimum mode, download the update from the Download Center and try to install the update.

    To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista:

    a. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    b. on the general tab, click Selective startup.

    c. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

    d. click OK.

    e. When prompted, click on restart.

    f. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

    If your problem is resolved after the clean boot, and then follow the steps in the following article to narrow down the exact source:
