The images show or load.

I had this happen a few times and seemed to work its self out, but not this time.  Is what I've done so far, 1. This is updated to 2.3, 2. renamed

preferences. agprefs. files.   By instruction of the Adobe support.    No change in question.  Therefore the question.

You open LR, all eyes to properly load, (open format library), our catalog names, collections ect are mentioned, the number of photo is listed under the local drive. The thumbnails where the photos should be are gray boxes just, I can move to different collectios abd they change as they should.   JUST no picture

to get. Just darn gray boxes.

Any idea before I finish by calling Adobe or to find someone in the area and to pay to solve this problem.

Thanks for your help

Stan

I can't find the link on this new improved forum, but as a general rule, a color profile of the monitor "bad" entails in XP and Vista. If you have a custom profile, try re - calibrate the it. Otherwise try to set it to say in Adobe RGB sRGB.

    How can I use Photoshop to remove scanned Brown adhesive around the edges of a digitized photo and keep the image showing through the band? Thank you very much.

    Dear Melissa,

    We thank you for your email about my problem with the Brown stick Ribbon at the bottom left of this photo. I attach the screenshot. As I said before, I need to remove the Brown adhesive while maintaining the image of the small low boat left and its mast covering the band. Is it possible to do this with Photoshop?

  • How to debug the image won't load does not intermittently exclusively on Firefox?

    The image (GIF67) is to be generated and sent through binary stream from the server (using the secure connection), Explorer and Chrome still display the image, Firefox intermittently fails to load without separate ground of success-failure.

    I checked that it is a matter of Firefox, by analyzing the tcp packets and confirmed that the response from the server still the same bytes either on the success that the scenario of the failure of level.

    How could configure Firefox to log the process of rendering the requested image?

    Action taken:

    -Tested with versions of Firefox from 10 to 28, fails
    -Tested with Chrome and IE, image still renders correctly
    -Follow-up:
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/Firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can?ESAB=a & As = AAQ
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/fix-problems-images-not-show?ESAB=a & As = AAQ
    -Updated the Chrome and IE require headers to imitate demand of Firefox, image renders correctly
    -Updated the headers to mimic Firefox asks chrome, fails
    -Packet tcp analyzed, answer is the same for failure and success restore
    -Reconstruct the image correctly retrieving the tcp packets of the application for a successful rendering, as well as for a bad record.

    Sometimes, it is possible to make 50 applications and see the image correctly, some other times you could do 50 applications and not see the image displayed, but above all it is possible to load the image 20 times and have 1 fail.

    Thanks in advance!

    The mime type was wrong: "Image/png".

    I currently have shame because it was the second thing to check on my list and in some way I missed it.

    I faked a stressed server by creating a Web Service to send the image via streaming and the thread to sleep after the rinse a small amount of data, I was able to reproduce the problem (Chrome and explore renders fine image and fails in Firefox) and I could also see fixed it by setting the right mimetype (don't you?).

    This surely isn't a bug, but I find it interesting that Chrome and Explorer are both able to accept that the data and show the Gif so that Firefox gives up on the stream if it takes a few milliseconds after receiving a package and mimic the gif type is not correctly set.

    I thank very you much for the people who have helped me through.

    PD: Anyone knows the real reason for Firefox to get this behavior differently than Chrome/Explorer at the level of the stream/encoder?

  • The image does not load in dreamweaver, but can see it everywhere else

    I have an image I need to imagemap, but it will not be displayed in Dreamweaver and I can't understand why. I checked the link to the image and it worked, and the page works fine when I saw in firefox, but I still need to imagemap. I saved the html page from photoshop with save for web and devices. Its all a big picture, none of the slices. I tried Dreamweaver shut down and reboot several times, but it does not work. I imagemapped other simular pages and they have loaded correctly.

    You use an absolute reference to the image. Is this image remote or local? If local, then use doc relative or site root relative links. If remote, then you must enable the remote image showing in DW. I am now on a computer without DW and don't remember exactly where in preferences it is.

  • Size of the image shows only in the insertion in html format

    I have Dreamweaver CS3

    I noticed after inserting a bunch of images using the html pane, I noticed that the sizes of the image is poster not in the html code, that is to say

    < li > < img src = "photos, Customerphoto, thmbs, 100_0223_thmb. ALT "JPG" = "grid guitar" / > < /li > "

    However, when I drag the on the preview pane (which I prefer not to do so), the sizes are referenced, IE

    "< li > < img src="pics/customerphoto/thmbs/001_thmb.jpg "width ="140"height ="94"/ > < /li >

    I prefer having the dimensions included in the HTML and certainly don't want to add them manually. Is it possible to do this via the html pane?

    Thank you

    Right-click on the image.  Press Reset size.  Width and height native will then show in the image properties pane.

  • Help with subordinating the image show?

    I developed a set of dynamic pages (php) that show examples of works by artists, but have a problem with displaying in IE browsers. Because the table is configured to carry a maximum of 4 images and text associated alt, IE holds a picture poster in place of the 'missing' images, where the maximum number of images is not used.
    To resolve this problem, I would like to be able to make the page display only the number of images that are in the table, without displaying the holders of additional image. I guess it can be done with a sort of a FI... ELSE statement?
    The page in question is generated when an artist is selected in list of exhibitors. For example, the list Sue James uses only 2 images and the page looks so it's broken images at the bottom of the list because of the image place holders.
    Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
    Sorry if I have not made myself sufficiently clear.
    Thanks in advance,
    Graham (more a Potter than a developer )

    Murray, you are a champion!
    I went with your first suggestion because I found it easier to understand. Have tweaked to satisfy the various categories of table and it works a treat on all sections - artists, businesses, and educational applications.
    Thank you very much for your expert help - it is much appreciated.

  • the images show black with red and blue sections on importation

    Newly installed 5 Lightroom on new computer (HP ZBook with 4 k screen).  When the files are imported from SD card on the display main and previews images are mostly black with some red and blue areas.  I tried disabling autotone and indicators of clipping and tried disabling GPU and the changing screen resolution - nothing helped.  I can see histogram and use the sliders to change the picture a bit, but can "lead to normal. The same images of this SD card are fine in Lightroom on my old computer.

    What can I do to fix this?

    Thanks, Paul

    This looks like a bad monitor profile. You must re - calibrate your monitor. If you do not have a calibrator, go to the properties of your monitor (it looks like the right of windows) and remove any profile associated with the parser. That do Windows will take your monitor is sRGB. This should solve the immediate problem, but it is always recommended that you calibrate your monitor with hardware calibration.

  • By placing a piece of letterhead letter or even open the documents filled, no matter what file format it is, the image shows only the outline of an envelope. Help?

    I just purchased and downloaded the CC from Adobe, including the most recent updates for InDesign.

    I'm doing an online course that I can't finish, because that place charts to create documents, I get errors. Even load the finished file, the instructor sent, errors in notes 4 in the status bar as soon as I open it. Graphics appear only as an outline of an envelope, doesn't matter if it's tiff, png, or jpeg. Is there something wrong with my program?

    Help please?

    The value to normal or high quality display quality, I suppose that it is now set to fast.

  • When we uploaded our digital photos to the computer, the images were accidentally loaded on the desktop, how can cancel us it?

    How can I down 230 photos my office? I need the latter in a file - not on the desk

    Hello

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities.

    I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below, that would help you to remove all the photos in the office.

    a. Select all the photos on the desktop, right click and then click on cut.

    b. open the location where you want to store the copy.

    c. right click on an empty space within the location and then click Paste. The copy of the original file is now stored in the new location.

  • Cannot remove the Image event listener

    I'm clearly missing something and would be grateful for the help.  I'm trying to run an event handler when a full picture of loading, then remove the Manager so that it does not once again the image needs to be reloaded later.

    The problem I'm having is that the event handler simple custom ' disappear, despite the call removeEventListener on the Image object.

    The following example illustrates the problem (the example do anything useful... it's just the shortest example to demonstrate the problem).  (To run the application, you will need to provide any file JPEG ol ' named 'myImage.jpg' in the directory 'src' to your project).

    What to expect to happen is:

    (1) at startup, the image loads and runs of loadComplete().

    2) loadComplete removes the event listener so that subsequent re-loads don't get re-triggers the Manager.  I want only the Manager to run once.

    3) 'loadComplete' should appear in the debug console.

    (4) a click on the button should display only 'change picture' in the debug console

    What I get instead is that Manager loadComplete is not removed, and whenever I click on the button, loadComplete runs when the image is re-load (i.e., each button click results in the showing in the debug console 'change picture' AND 'loadComplete' ).

    Hello

    You can only remove event listeners you added with the addEventListener() method in an ActionScript block. You cannot remove an event listener that has been defined in the MXML tag, even if it has been registered by using a call to the addEventListener () method that was made within an attribute of the tag.

    Check this page for reference.

    http://livedocs.Adobe.com/Flex/3/HTML/Help.HTML?content=events_05.html

    You can change the code a bit get it works

    private function myImage_creationCompleteHandler(event:FlexEvent):void
    {
         myImage.addEventListener("complete",myImage_completeHandler);
         myImage.load("myImage.jpg");
    }

    private function myImage_completeHandler(event:Event):void
    {
         myImage.removeEventListener("complete",myImage_completeHandler);
    }

  • Images won't load is not in order (slideshow)

    I noticed something after my slide show. The images are not displayed in the order that they are in the XML file (and which MUST be in order).

    CODE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    function load_xml(): void / / first function to call in the script (unique feature)
    {
    myImages_array = [];
    Rnd var = Math.floor (Math.random () * 100000000);
    var url: String = root.loaderInfo.parameters.site_root + "services/slideshow.ashx? id = ' + root.loaderInfo.parameters.sujet_no + '& rn =' + rnd;
    var loadit:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
    loadit.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, completeHandler);
    loadit. Load (new URLRequest (url));

    function completeHandler(e:Event):void {}
    var myXML:XML = new XML (e.target.data);
    var myOptions:XMLList = myXML.options.elements ();
    var myImages:XMLList = myXML.images.elements ();

    transition = myOptions. (@id is 'transition');
    music = myOptions. (@id is 'music');
    Duration = myOptions. (@id is "duration");

    for each (var image: XML into myImages)
    {
    var loader: Loader = new Loader();
    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, imageLoaded); Load and add each image in the table
    loader.load (new URLRequest (root.loaderInfo.parameters.site_root + image.@["path"])); Call the function with the path of the image
    }
    }

    init = setInterval (init_slideshow, 2000); Creates a single time limit to ensure that the images are all loaded and added to the table
    }

    function imageLoaded(e: Event): void
    {
    Bitmap of the image: var = e.target.loader.content;

    If (image.width > 1920)
    {
    image.scaleY = 1920 / image.width;
    image. Width = 1920;
    }
    If (> 1080 image.height)
    {
    image.scaleX = 1080 / image.height;
    image. Height = 1080;
    }

    var imageData:BitmapData = image.bitmapData;

    var sprite: Sprite = new Sprite();

    sprite.graphics.beginFill (0xFFFFFF);
    sprite.graphics.drawRect (0, 0, 1920, 1080);
    sprite.graphics.endFill ();

    var spriteBitmap:Bitmap = new Bitmap (imageData);

    spriteBitmap.x = (1920 / 2)-(spriteBitmap.width / 2);
    spriteBitmap.y = (1080 / 2)-(spriteBitmap.height / 2);

    sprite.addChild (spriteBitmap);

    I havemage_total = myImages_array.push (sprite); / / they do not add in the order that they are in the XML file (I guess it depends on the size and such)
    }

    function init_slideshow(): void
    {
    clearInterval (init); Clear the interval
    load_image(myLoader,img); Start the slide show
    load_image(myLoader2,img+1); Prepares the next image
    IMG = img + 1;
    animate_slideshow(); Starts the Tween
    }

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The problem lies in the fact Event.COMPLETE when loading images add probably images in the order that they are LOADED and not to LOAD do not. Is there a method that will make them add in the order that they are called?

    Thanks for any help!

    It is not a method in actonscript but there is a method in the loading process to keep things in sequence.  Rather than using a loop for trigger Chargers, create a functional loop where the realization of a loading image triggers the following to start loading.

    The General/generic outline of the process would be (non-literal encoding)...

    var fileArray = your xml files list

    indexCount var = 0

    function loadAFile() {}

    Loader.Load (fileArray [indexCount])

    loader.addListener (COMPLETE, incorporateFile)

    }

    function incorporateFile() {}

    treat the file loaded in place and then to see if someone else must be responsible

    indexCount += 1;

    If (indexCount<>

    loadAFile();

    }

    }

    loadAFile();  Kick things off

  • Is it possible to get the image.width BEFORE the rendered image?

    I create an Image dynamically (in ActionScript) object and adding it to a cMain (Canvas container)

    I want to add it to a x / y location relative to an existing object in the canvas, so to do I'm putting myImage.x and myImage.y before making a cMain.addChild (myImage)

    Because I want to put the image right next to "SomeObject" into the canvas, I wanted to use something like:

    myImage.x = someObject.x - myImage.width;

    The problem is that Flex does not know the width of the image.  Of course, I could specify a specific width, but I actually do for the height (ie. myImage.height = someVBox.height), so it resizes the image and draw well, but does not give me the width of it.

    According to another discussion on this forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/137573#137573), I tried to determine the width of the image in an event.COMPLETE handler, but even when the image is finished loading, height and width are still unknown (both show as '0');  It seems that I might be able to determine size in event. MAKE, but this does not mean the image has ALREADY been added to my painting and drawing on the screen?  At this point, it's a little too late, because I need the value of the coordinate x of the image BEFORE rendering of this.

    Is there a possible way to do it? (other than images to make sure the photo editing, they are all some dimensions and then hardcode these dimensions in...)

    Have you tried

    event.currentTarget.width ?
