  -J' have different test resources to test our product which includes engines and the NOR-Box (6351).

  -Number of test files in sequence that are called during the test (ca. 20)

  -The problem is that when I run these test sequence files separate (say only 3 out of 20), total time by these tests are t1, t2 and t3, but when - I left all 20 tests to run without jumping all the time needed by the 3 tests above is t1 + 60 s, t2 + 80 s and t3 + 50sec. Why it is so and how can I avoid this problem.

  -The tests are motors to move, take samples or box then save them on my computer after testing the limits. Since they are time critical, when I do all the running tests in a test go a lot do not PASS. I can't run them separately because it takes more time, more interference by user and also more than one report that is not desired.

  -J' tried unloading after execution steps, but it did not help.

  This probably depends on that made your sequence. Have you tried shrink where extra time is being spent? You can time how long different parts of your sequence are following the steps of the expression as follows:

  Locals.StartTime = Seconds()

  Locals.ElapsedTime = Seconds() - Locals.starttime

  You can also watch time module in your reports. There is nothing specific on TestStand that should cause some sort of slow down like this. I recommend trying to figure out where the extra time is being spent. I suspect once you do, the cause will become obvious.

  If I understand your question, use ActiveX steps to access the PropertyObjectFile.Version property or use the hidden property: RunState.SequenceFile.Data.Version. Hidden properties are subject to change in future versions of TestStand, however, is more future proof to use API. However, this property has never changed so far.

  When you run a sequence of test, test calls to the top a labview VI which took there properties defined in a dialog box, and although it is not his position, he sometimes appears behind the screen before test (if minimize you the test screen, you can see the box). If I close all the programs National instruments then re-run the test sequence dialog box will appear before the screen test, but this only seems to happen once.

  It seems that you do not use the functions of start modal dialog/end modal dialog located on the TestStand palette. Add them to the end very beginner and even your VI and it should work as you want.

  My PNG sequences has 77668 frames but after Efects imports only the first frames 12133.    is there a limit to the size of a sequence of images that will matter to the AE.

  If not how can I get the image entire seqence in AE.  I even tried selecting all frames by holding down the SHIFT key, but still it is important firstly 12133 frames only.

  When I choose a subset of images after the 12133 I get the error message: After Effects error: could not import a sequence.  Don't find any match for the selected file name.  (39::40)

  However if I import those same executives that only they come all EI, but they is not when the PNG sequence of sequences is checked.

  "NOTE: I had added an extra" # "in the naming convention when I created the png sequence (.png #) default AE to #s.  the 6th addition caused a problem.

  AE is limited to 32000 images per sequence because of the way the code of management of the numbering works. You can indeed make the worst situation by adding this figure outside. In all cases, you can only split the sequence to separate folders and import segments here...

  I have ", working with the Version 4.2.1 of TestStand. I have a main sequence, which sous-séquences of different calkls. All these steps are reported correctly. One of the subsequences works like "new thread". How can I include his results in the common test report of the main sequence?

  I have variable markes of the subsequence as is required for the test report (it works OK if it's not a new thread). If the digital test, which is performed in this subsequence is correct, I get no results at all. If the digital test could not get a "message in red" who whithout having failed to test any reference to step somewhere in the report of the main sequence or values of vaiables that were not correct.

  I tried an option 'on the fly' in the Configuration of the report, but n ' got no useful result. What should I do?

  Hello Pericles,

  You can use a queue time for the results of the wire once it ends. Place a waiting time after the call to the thread in your MainSequence at the location where you want the results to add to the report (compared to other results). In the waiting step Setup tab, select wait: Thread the threaded sequence, and then select call to specify sequence call the radio button. You can also use an object reference if you need results if poster somewhere where elsewhere - you would just add an object reference to the appeal of sequence threaded in its thread settings dialog box.

  I just started using the testbed and I use it with CVI. I am running version 4.2.1 of testbed.   I'm currently trying to set up my "*.c files" of project folder appropriate to compile and run under the simple testexe of test bench and also tried the normal sequence editor. Currently, I moved all the *.c files &.h taken in charge in the same directory where the testexec.c... .not sure if it's the best place to put it?... It seems to work OK. However, I saw a few problems once the program is running. Is to show signs cited in my CVI functions but it shows as not fatal execution error: "position of unknown source, library function error, Panel, bar menu, control or a table handle is invalid" before and after pop up window panels. I tried breakpoint to the line of code in a CVI file to the project title for additional information about the error, but it seems that the breaking point is not being invoked as it does NOT run in debug in CVI mode and rather an executable. Across the service installed on the project file are *.c and not *.obj. I appreciate anyones help and give me advice. Thanks in advance

  I am very new to TestStand, please see the question below and give advice.

  I want to set up a simple test sequence.

  I want a message to popup on the screen that asks the operator what unit of 6 units (maximum 10) to test (i.e. There is say box of 6 to 10 s to select from).

  Then the sequence goes to the specific part of the sequence and performs the test on a unit that either has been selected.

  What is the best way to do it?

  I use pop-up message windows to do this? and if so what should I connect to the correct part of the sequence file?

  Pop-up message windows allow only 6 options to select from?

  You can do this by using the method of message popup. You can ask the user what unit want to run message by inserting in the expression of the message in the message popup step parameters. Something like below

  "Enter the number of execution unit.

  1 Unit1

  2 unit 2

  .......

  10 Unit 10 "

  then check the 'Enable response text box"tab is different from the stage. When the user enters the unit number you can get the value entered by the user by inserting the below statement post expression of message popup step parameters

  Locals.String = Step.Result.Response

  Note: The string is a local variable to be set.

  Convert string to number and send that output to pass the expression you can use a sequence of call step to call the sequence according to which must be performed. (I hope your each unit will file separate sequence)

  Hello, I have real trouble with my HP Pavilion dv6-2160us experience (with the i3 - 330 M, no dedicated graphics card) Windows 7-64 bit, SP1 PC and I would be happy to help.

  I created a new thread because, despite the fact that many other people have experienced a problem similar to this and have posted what has worked for them, nothing has worked for me.

  The problem (s):

  My main problem is that I can not any audio to play from my PC to my HDTV HDMI.

  When I plug my HDMI cable on my PC and the TV, the TV is recognized in the playback devices, but nothing he can play.

  When I try to test the TV in playback devices, I get an error "could not play the test tone.

  In addition, I want to mention a few other odd behavior that I think can be a part of the main problem.

  In playback devices, I can't change anything. I can't disable or enable a device, I can not set as default playback or communication devices, and I can't save changes to the properties of the device. Whenever I try to change something, as the default playback device, nothing happens, or the changes are immediately reversed.

  The Question:

  How can I get audio to play through HDMI on my PC (is not a problem with the TV, my other machines HP audio playback over HDMI it is fine)?

  OK, I finally have the answer for that.

  If you experience this problem even and you want to fix it, you'll need a PC running the same version of Windows 7 that your PC works lot of work but it works without problems, with regard to this point.

  Here's what I did to solve the problem:

  1. Create a system restore point.
  2. Run regedit.exe as administrator.
  3. Go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices \Audio .
  4. Compare the permissions and attributes of ownership of this key and all subkeys to your work PC.
  5. Change all permissions and property attributes for interest on the defective PC keys as they are the same as those on the operation of the PC.
  6. Restart your faulty computer.

  I hope this helps. It worked for me.

  My plan was to specify the base path using the StationGlobals (for support through several files), and then use the ReportOptions reminder in the file of the main sequence and the sequence of group file.  However, the recall of ReportOptions occurs only in the file in the main sequence.  If I create a ReportOptions reminder in the sous-suite file, it will never be called.  The ReportOptions of the MainSequenceFile callback is only called (since that's where the new run is launched I guess).

  In my view, that this hierarchy could be created using what follows:
  In the ReportOptions callback, get a reference to the sequence of the appellant step and determine if it is a SequenceGroup_SequenceCall (a type of special stage that I created), if so then use a different expression to generate the name of the subdirectory and report.  If this isn't the case, then use the expression of the main sequence.

  It would take to what follows the ReportOptions in MainSequence reminder:

  1 get the reference to MainSequence path of the report generated from the process template.  This could be done by storing the RunState.Root.Locals.ReportPath in a StationGlobals variable before the new sequence.

  • Is it possible to do without StationGlobals?  A SequenceCall parameter is most appropriate?

  2 get the reference to the call of the sequence step

  • Not sure what the best way to achieve this.  Please notify.
