    Just upgraded to macOS Sierra.

Now, I get an avalanche of:

"macOS needs repair your library to run applications. Type your password to allow this. ', dialog boxes.  They just continue to flow upward.

I tried to set the permissions on the House and the library directories, by doing a Get Info-> sharing and Permissions-> select user-> select Read & Write-> apply to what's included...

This seems to set the permissions that you expect.

But Safari can't download files in my downloads folder.  Other changes to the settings in other applications.  Do not seem to hold.

You have chosen a good time to remove permission to repair Apple disk utilities.

So, how are we supposed to solve this problem?

When I try to reinstall Adobe CC I am prompted to type in my username and password computer to validate, I'm actually the administrator of this machine, but after you enter the correct password the window just disappears and reappears. If I type the wrong password, this small window will shake and highlight the text I just entered (which means it does not recognize the correct password, but simply don't accept it).

    Screen Shot 2015-07-27 at 7.27.15 PM.png

Obviously, the main issue here is that I can not open all Adobe programs installed on my machine. However, I'm also concerned by the program thinking that I have only a "trial" because I paid for this service on a regular basis.

The password is being spelled correctly. As I said earlier, the installation program recognizes the correct password, but the window just pops up again. Type the incorrect password (like a bunch of random letters) makes the window little shake and highlight my text.

I tried to download the Application Manager, and that's exactly where the question arises. The installation program does not past the password entry screen.

I'll try to reinstall my OS, as seems to be a fix according to the Apple Support forums. Thank you.

Just prior to leaving changes (installation in this case) is done on the Mac OS application password & it must be the password for Mac system. This password is the native guest of the system clean & accept the password only. Please make sure that it's the right password (all/admin rights) and the game should work.

Left some files old mac for my Mac Mini. When I try to do something with these files, deletion of an example, I get the "Finder wants to make changes. Type you password... "for each file/folder.

These files and folders don't recognize you as the owner. You must change their attributes of permissions to allow that you read & write access. Collect the files in a big file. Then, right-click on this file and select 'get info '.

In the Info window, said open the padlock under "sharing and permissions" ensure that next to your name of the permission "read and write" Finally, click on the gear icon bit and choose 'apply to enclosed article' confirms the dialog box and you're done. This should solve your problem.

This feature was not available in Windows XP, its designed for protection, you must explicitly enable it to make changes (add entries), otherwise the program will not install correctly.

  • Lately everytime I open firefox I get the window «do you want this program to make changes to your computer...» »

    Hello

I would be so grateful to know how to fix t his, because it's really getting on my nerves.

I have windows 7 pro 64 bit. I mostly always use firefox. Whenever i opened a new browser, I never got hit with the windows badge and "Do you want this program to make changes to your computer...." or something to that effect. YOu who have windows 7 know what I mean. Of course I click yes, but I NEVER had to do this before. I don't know what changed, what might have happened. I had to have help with some software unrelated to firefox and someone had remote work on my notebook, but he should not have changed browser settings. It is really irritating me to now end to always open the browser now and have to hear that annoying thing and the badge.

My other browsers IE and chrome do not do this.

How can I fix this? It was never the case before for years.

Thank you thank you very much in advance. I can't use this browser if that's going to happen, he finds himself on my nerves.

A possible cause of this message, it is that Firefox is configured to run as administrator.

Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.
Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

    • Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
    • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected

Also check the firefox.exe program properties in the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) folder.
If you cannot make changes, and then start Windows Explorer as an administrator.
