The iPhone 6 can be stored on HD radio tag information?

Recently bought an Alpine car stereo for my car, which offers a feature of marking on the HD radio broadcasts (to store artist information, album, and song for research/purchase at a later date). The info is supposed to be transferred to a connected Apple product, and then be examined once synced with iTunes.  So far, I have been unable to find where iTunes info available, so I don't know if my iPhone6 is actually storing information.  Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Hello

Try this: launch iTunes and connect the iPhone to the computer 6.

  • The Iphone 4 can send audio in iMessage?

On my Iphone 4s, I have a small microphone icon and can send audio messages.  The Iphone 4 is capable of that?  I don't see a microphone icon.

    Thank you

    Dawn

There are two icons of microphone. That is a key on the keyboard is to the dictation, which is available on the iPhone 4s, but not the iPhone 4. The icon of the microphone to the left of the text field in the Messages is to send audio messages and is available on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

  • The system restore points, how can be stored/kept?

I had problems restore XP on the computer of a friend.  I can't after installing SP3, a question that will be asked in a separate post.

In an effort to not having to do a full system recovery on the computer in question, with this latest attempt to recover the operating system and install all updates, I started the creation of restore points for the system after each step, I took to get things running and upward.

And that is, after installing SP3, with installation fails and then going back until the restoration of the system to an earlier configuration, I found none of the points longer existed the system restore.   :-(

Is there a maximum number of restore points in the system that can be stored in XP and later Windows operating systems?

    Hey, Jose,

I'm sorry for the late reply to your post, but I removed the weekend baby a bad back that makes me mad.

I'll try to put your comments in quotes, with my response immediately after, flea.

The hard drive is 160 GB.  The car had 2 partitions, the recovery partition.  Before reinstalling everything from scratch, I've used Easeus Partition Manager Home Edition to create a 3rd partition to move the original data of C:\ drive to your new partition so my friend can sort files and keep it as he and his family want and discard the rest.  I just copy everything that I can, because I don't know who, what, and where they have stored files.  I actually found a file stored in the recovery partition, but I moved it.

"Here are some reasons that XP will remove RPs.

    • Read the KB article.  To make sure that we are on the same page, I get "system drive" means C:\.
    • Lack of free space should not be a problem.  C:\ is 32 GB, 10.1 GB used.  D:\ is 111 GB, GB used 21.2.  E:\ is 5.98 GB, used 5.00.  E: is the recovery Partition.
    • No disk compression
    • Did not display the warnings system restore.
    • I do not turn off System Restore fo any player.
    • This isn't an upgrade of the system to an earlier version, I just turn on the computer the way it came, new out of the box.
    • The system was always restored from the recovery Partition.  I have a set of restore CD, but they have been written about the recorded side with a felt marker.  I have not tried cleaning off the coast, this will be my absolute last resort.   :-)
    • Disk cleanup does not give me tabs and options as mentioned in the article.  I guess that these show upward when you upgrade from a previous version of the operating system.
    • I don't think I'm under low disk space.    :-)
    • Does not not after the age of 90 days, nor have I have reduced the size of the data store.  I didn't know either of these possibilities before you read this KB.  See how the KB has been written, I suppose that these two parameters can be changed.  Can you point me in the right direction for how to do this?  I have a computer multiboot (XP Pro and Vista Ultimate Edition) and I would change the date of age never delete a restore point, because the computer is rarely used nowadays.

"I don't know that when you install SP3 and it goes well, a single method to uninstall SP3 is to restore the system to the time before SP3 was installed:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/950249

This would mean that you would still RPs after that installation of SP3 (if things were favorably) and that was my observation. »

    • When I started to have problems, I simply started from scratch with a Destructive Restore process.  When I'm really frustrated after several failures, I started looking for a quicker way to get back to a point just before I installed SP3 and found this KB.  After that, it was the safe boot mode and using the Control Panel Add/Remove programs to remove the SP3.  And I got very, very familiar with the process!   Laughing out loud

"Other things I can think can remove all restore Points are third party maintenance and system cleaning tools, poorly designed or introducing a third part malfunction anti malware tools, etc..".  Malicious software can disable the system restore (temporarily of course), but I never saw remove Restore Points.  The XP disk cleanup will also delete all but the most recent restore Point. »

    • Other Easeus Partition Manager, I never got far enough along to try any other third party software.  My "modus operandi" is updated completely OS and Internet Explorer before I install any other software and update it.  However, with the idea of the recovery Partition, do not not the software isn't an option.

"If they are all absent, it always seems that a human element involved somewhere."

    • I learned long ago, the days of 8-bit, unless there is a real hardware failure, almost all computer problems can be tracked to a human being.
    • Not all system restore points were missing, just the first I created which is involved by creating a restore point after you change the system, such as the removal of my friend doesn't use software.  For example the software to connect to an ISP with a modem.  They got the DSL.   :-)
    • All deletions of software would help speed up the computer for his own use.  The rest of the family is like me today, Mac users.   :-)

    "To answer your question:

The settings default for the accumulation of Restore Points is 12% of the size of the monitored hard drive or 90 days (both values are adjustable of course).  Microsoft seems to draw attention to the way in which the Restore Points "live."   "Then, the oldest Restore Points will start to get deleted to make room for new Restore Points (see also KB950249).

    • 12%, eh?  Is it possible, in fact, I have exceeded this number by 12% by creating too many restore points?  Knowing what I was doing, which seems to be a possiblity says, as restoring all points were never deleted, only the earlier.

I'll certainly post the info you suggested in the post on the SP3 forum.

  • Pictures transferred to the iphone do not show in the PC

    IPhone 4s:

    IOS 9.2

    PC OS win 7

    ICloud: No.

Other services to store pictures or images of cloud: No.

Are physically stored pictures on the Iphone: Yes

I copied photos of android in a folder on my PC. I opened Itunes and sync the folder on the PC so all the pictures and videos where he is transferred to the Iphone.

I can see the photo album on the iphone, I can check my photos and videos.

BUT, when I connect the iphone to the computer and find the folder "Apple iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM\100APPLE" no pictures are there. ONLY the photos I took with the iphone appears. Not my other 2800 photos.

What is wrong and how to fix it?

That is how it is designed to work. An iTunes syncing of photos from a computer to an iPhone is a one-way transfer, and the pictures are not stored in a location accessible from Windows Explorer on the computer. The original photos must be kept on the PC - if they are not, any future synchronization of photos will remove the copy that is on the iPhone. If you delete photos from the computer and you want to recover the iPhone, you need to use 3rd party software like https://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/

  • Function of more limited rotation on imac than the iphone!

I just realized that the edit > function of rotation is more limited on Photos/imac compared on my iphone.

It is surely not good! On my 27 inch screen it only allows me to rotate 90 degrees, but on the iphone I can adjust to any angle that I wish, and it also gives a grid to help align things.

Maybe it's a setting I'm missing - otherwise I find it's a huge gap for not being able to properly rotate the photos on my imac.

In Photos on my Mac 2.0,.

    -I select the picture

-Click the button to reveal the editing tools (top right photo window, to the left of the Details button)

-then right click on the first symbol third with two arrows dotted ("crop" in French...)

-then click, hold down and up and down

  • Is it possible to load podcasts (using podcasts app) on the iPhone without the need to have these load on iTunes on Mac at the same time?

I agree, download and listen to podcasts on my iPhone (6 s 9.3.4).) When I sync with my Mac (2008 Macbook OS Lion) it also syncs podcasts (obviously) but it takes too much space on my Mac, and I never listen to the podcasts on the Mac. When I uncheck the sync option of podcasts in iTunes (12.2.2.25), he said that it will remove all the podcasts on the iPhone too, that I don't want. Is it possible to download podcasts over the phone without also their sync iTunes as well?

    Thank you

The Podcast app works using the connection of the iPhone and can sync no read using iCloud. Can simply browse podcasts and download them directly from the phone.

  • Does not support the Iphone 4

I have an Iphone 4 and I was about to download this new app called Kylie and Kendall. I scrolled down to see what IOS, it supports and it says it's compatible with the IOS 7 Ipad, Iphone or Ipod so I was really excited to download and play. Long story short, after I downloaded it, I opened the app, and it started to load, but then he said "does not support the Iphone 4. I was really disappointed and sad, I was wondering why it says it's compatible with the IOS 7 and later, but apparently not. Because when I clicked on it says that it is not. That actually makes the loose money app and glory because owners of the Iphone 4 can be the game. Please someone tell me why he cannot support Iphone 4 or an expert in this company help us users of the Iphone 4. This isn't the only time where it happened to me happens to me in several applications, but I don't really understand this situation. Please help someone!

This has nothing to do with Apple or iphone.

You will need to contact the developer of the app and ask them what the issue is, or look at their support site.

  • flashes be available for the iphone?

I'm workin on html5 (edge + dreamweaver) and he always had problems, if flash will be available for the iphone, we can continue our path with flash?

It's true, iPhones do not support Flash Player. Who really shouldn't affect your Flash designs with all the new features with Flash CS6. Do not try the box tool for CreateJS to publish your Flash to HTML5 content and let us know if you have any questions.

Normally, you do not use iCloud for this, you use iTunes, as shown below, but you can use iCloud photo library if that's your preference.

  • What happens if I can't find the owner of the iphone. I'm Phil and my aunt just gave this iphone 4S of canada she had chosen their street. How can I activate it? Should I me this makes rather in the apple store here in the phil? Pls help

How can I activate this phone? What could be the best solution to my problem. This iphone 4S is still in good condition.

If you find a lost device, I would advise that you contact the carrier. If there is a SIM card in the iPhone, the carrier's name is probably written on it.

So also we recommend you to contact law enforcement. If the iPhone has been reported as lost, and the person who has lost the serial number, the police will be able to restore their iPhone.

If you still can't find the original owner, you know that the iPhone can be locked in three different ways:

-Locking: it is a security feature to protect the data stored on the iPhone. You'll need to clear its content: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306

-Lock activation: this is a security feature to prevent thieves turn on stolen devices. Unfortunately, it also goes for lost devices. You can find out if it is blocked here: https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/ if this is the case, former owner of the iPhone is the only one who can unlock the iPhone, sorry. Unless they connect to their Apple ID and remove the iPhone from his account, you won't be able to use it. There is not much interest to let the phone from Apple, because they won't be able to use it either. Maybe the local police can keep him.

-Lock carrier: a carrier locked the phone to their network. You can contact the carrier to ask them to unlock the iPhone. There may be a charge for this.

Of course, the iPhone can be locked in three of these means. The only one you can not pass without the original owner's lock Activation.

Anyone know how to solve my problem? I can't import my photos from Iphone to computer. Sign says: Photos in the camera cannot be imported because the IPhone is locked with a password or read. My phone is unlocked. I tried everything, every single idea. Without success! Any other idea?

For example, you specify that the device does not display the lock screen, correct? Do you use Touch IDS? If so, try to put your finger on the device to see if it's what he wants.

  • "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes" AND "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password" error message on the phone and the computer! Help!

So I recently had my password wrong too many times and my iPhone 4S locked out telling me "iPhone is disabled; Connect to iTunes'. And so I connected to iTunes and decided to restore my phone. I finished the process of restoration of the configuration of my phone, but ultimately, it was not even let me in the phone! Once AGAIN he said "iPhone is disabled; " Connect " to iTunes '. However, this time, this message appeared just when I turned on my phone with a black background. I didn't scan the screen for the error message is displayed (and there was no time to be shown). When I tried to connect to iTunes again as he asked, now it says "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password".

So now, he said "iPhone is disabled; ' Connect to iTunes' on my iPhone 4S and ''iTunes can't connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password ' on my computer. WHAT should I do?

As described in step 2 of "Erase your device with iTunes" in this article, you will need to use the Recovery Mode.

Recovery mode is described in this article as well.  You may try to go into recovery mode more than once to succeed.

  • Can't release enough storage on the iPhone 6

I have an iPhone 16GB 6 with about 12 GB for storage, and I was doing all day notifications that my storage is almost full.  I've deleted all my podcasts, my music, my pictures, each non-essential service, has not been installed at the factory on the phone to begin with the app and it still says that I have only about 367 MB of free space.  I deleted the Safari cache and deleted the history, I double and triple checked the "recently deleted" folder in Photos (it is empty), and I rebooted my iPhone twice to see if this somehow clear the cobwebs and update my numbers all.  Nothing has worked.

I am currently under the latest version of iOS 9.  The update to iOS 10 is ready to download and install, if only I had room.  Is there a way I can free up space on my phone without erasing my content and settings?  Because that's what I'm afraid I'll have to do.

Try to do a restore on your iPhone. A few times on the iPhone data get lost and the restoration is able to get out and find it and get rid of it.
