The iPod nano 6g jump screen

Hello

My name is Hayan and I come from India.I my iPod bought for about 4 years back. I almost used it all the time for music through these

Years. For about a month or two, I don't use it. And now when I it back to my table screen was skipped over somehow.

I do not know it is not caused by any physical means, but what happened to it?... the screen is almost completely jumped out with only the intact lower... The other 3 sides jumped as there was an explosion of the battery. No smell of something like an explosion. What should I do now?

And no, this isn't because I kept it under high temperatures or in full sun, I read these responses. Please I need to solve this problem as soon as possible and I hope to hear from you guys as soon as POSSIBLE. Also is there anything I can try to do it myself?

Thank you.

The battery is probably end of life on your device and became swollen push the screen during your period of non-use. You need to go to an Apple authorized service provider and pay for repair.

  • Is there a white protective layer on the screen of the iPod Nano, which should be removed?

My iPod Nano (16 GB) I received for Christmas last fact not have a white around the screen, but the new one framework that I bought for my wife fact.  At first, I thought it was just another layer of protection, but then I wasn't sure.  -What is that supposed to be left intact?  In addition, on the bottom, there a white band.  Same question: should be removed or left in place?  As much as I love my Apple, I find it embarrassing that there is no explicit statement for the first time Apple users who don't know not all the features bit of Apple products.

The area around the screen is a different color, depending on the 'main' color of your iPod nano.  Go to the web page of the "purchase" of Apple for the iPod nano

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/buy-iPod/iPod-nano

Where is said to choose a color, click on the options.  All current options have white around the screen, with the exception of the grey space, which is black around the screen.  There is no protective layer, so please do not try to remove it!

  • generation iPod Nano 7 jumping battery percentage

    Hello.

I recently got an opportunity 7th generation iPod Nano and the battery percentage jumps around. I use it and it seems that it is half-percent or less then I turn off the screen and turn the screen turn it on again to change the song and it will pop up to like more than half. Is this normal or a kind of glitch that I should take to the Genius Bar? Does that mean I have a bad battery? Thank you.

Try to let the game iPod continuously, until it is unloaded.  You can let them play unsupervised until he stops playing alone.  Then, connect it to the power for a few hours, so that it is completely recharged.  See if that makes the battery to act more reliably.  It is good sometimes to drain the battery completely and then load it completely.

  • Cannot transfer music from iTunes to the iPod nano.

I can't transfer music from iTunes to my iPod. My laptop has Windows XP and my iPod nano is 6 years old. (I do not know what generation it is). the instructions say to click on "sources" to choose the IPod, but I can't find this option in iTunes.

The latest version of iTunes can be different, so former instructions can be confusing.

There are several ways to load songs on an iPod, including the auto sync and manual loading.  I will describe the method that automatically synchronizes the iPod to a playlist in your iTunes library.  First, you must create a new playlist in your iTunes library and add all the songs you want on the iPod playlist.  You can call iPod songs playlists (or whatever you want).  If you already have a "Favorites" playlist, you can use it.

Then, select the iPod in iTunes (click on its button on the device on the horizontal bar) to show its settings screen in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings. Click on music.  Right, parameters of music on the iPod screen.

NOTE: All the songs on the iPod that are not on your iTunes library (on the computer) will be lost.

At the top, check the box to Sync music.  This enables automatic synchronization.  Below, choose the option to synchronize playlists selected, artists, album and genres.  Below, under playlists, search for and select (checkmark) playlists iPod songs you create earlier.  You can select the other items in these lists, if you wish.  When you click apply, iTunes syncs your selection to iPod.

Go ahead, update of the songs on the iPod, update iPod songs playlist in your iTunes (add/remove songs).  The iPod has no need to be connected.  The next time that you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes automatically updated the iPod with the same changes.  I use this method with my iPod nano, unless I have several playlists (not one) that I sync with my iPod.

  • How can I change the iPod nano 7th generation aspect ratio 4:3?

I'm one of the few people who watch YouTube videos on an iPod nano. Not only that, but I'm watching old movies in a 4:3 picture format. My 5th generation died, who played the fine of 4:3. I'm a 7th generation, which extends to 16:9. No there is no way to solve this problem? I tried to adjust the handbrake and Any Video Converter and it did not work on either.

No, there is no adjustment on the Nano to change the format.

I am able to delete podcasts played in my library, but there are some podcasts I want to keep (This American Life, etc.), even if I listened to them. • The iPod Nano has a clock app

IPod Nano (gen 7) has a clock/timer similar to the iPhone and iPad app?

    Thank you

According to the user's Guide, Yes, it is: https://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1624/en_US/iPod_nano_2015_user_gui.pdf

  • How to skip to the previous song, without using the iPod Nano touchscreen (7th generation)

I want to understand, how can I go back and forth between songs in iPod nano 7th generation.  I thought that all iPods have this easy navigation through buttons system, but I don't think it's available in iPod Nano. After I search the Internet, I found that I can go directly through a double pressure on the middle part of the volume button band. But, is it possible to skip to the previous song?

On the 7th gen iPod nano, there are three buttons on the side.  Increase volume / Play/Pause : turn down the VolumeNext song press Play/Pausetwice.  Previous song is triple - Play/Pause-press.

NOTE: If you have headphones with control buttons on the cord, same three buttons are there, and they work the same way for the read command.

  • IPod nano 7 icon appears in iTunes, with Windows 8 or IP on both computers. Two nano 5s work perfectly. Short black lines appeared on the screen iPod

NO icon of nano 7 will appear on iTunes despite trying 2 computers, Ip and win 8. Also tried two nano 5s and several cables and ports. Also, some black lines on the screen.

What is "Intellectual property"?  Did you mean to type XP?  There is no iPod nano "5s". are these 5th gen iPod nanos?  Why do we say "iPod nano (6th generation)" in your profile in?  It's the iPod nano with the gen 7 problem?

If the 7th gen iPod nano is new (model 2015), it does not work with a version of iTunes that runs on Windows XP.  It should work with the current latest version of iTunes on the computer of Windows 8, however.

  • My iPod Nano has a white screen with messages I've ever seen

    Hello

I'm having a problem connecting my iPod Nano (5th generation 8 GB) to my Macbook Pro (mid-2009 with El Capitan OS). I tried to restore my iPod nano with iTunes. Restore failed, and my iPod Nano screen has changed to a white screen with a message "do not disconnect". I couldn't eject the device, so I had to unplug the iPod with this message that appears. When I disconnected the iPod a black check mark appears on the white screen with a message "Ok to disconnect". The only way to get this message go away is to lock the screen of the iPod nano, and then unlock it. Then I press and hold the Center button and menu button simultaneously for 8 seconds and the Apple logo appears. Then shortly after, a "Use iTunes to restore" message on the iPod nano. I reconnect the iPod on my Mac and the white screen with a message 'do not disconnect' returns to the top. iTunes does not recognize the iPod. I don't know what else I can do to get my Mac to recognize the device and add songs using iTunes. IPod Nano was working fine a few hours ago, and my Macbook recognized until I tried to restore it in iTunes. It's very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Here are pictures of the messages from my iPod nano's display.

IPod Nano was working fine a few hours ago, and my Macbook recognized until I tried to restore it in iTunes.

What was the (initial) reason, you had to do this restoration (before this problem occurred)?

Try to put the iPod in Disk Mode.

Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

Launch iTunes and connect the iPod to the Mac.  If iTunes picks it up, he may ask you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  Tell iTunes to do a restore.  After the full restoration , see if the iPod works normally.
