The Java plug-in 2 1.6.0.31 NPAPI should be disabled?

I was updating my sites Google Blogger, and got a Firefox error message that says that the Java plug-in for NAPAPI 1.6.0.31 2 must be turned off, in my opinion and I have to restart Firefox. I decided to disconnect from my Blogger account before you deactivate the plugin, but when I did it, the Firefox error message was gone (that's why I'm not positive it's the plugin). I went to the Plugin Check page and and see that the plugin is 'informed '. Should I turn it off anyway?

Hello, the java versions including 1.6.0_31 & upward has not must be blocked by firefox, I don't know why you got the notification in the first place (perhaps the block was put in place when he was still an outdated version of the plugin on your pc and the update of the plugin that happened immediately after).

  • Why my Firefox doesn't have a Java plug-in?

My question is similar to Java plug-in for JRE7u21? ', but all the suggestions he has worked are for Windows, and I'm on a Mac, and I don't want to hijack this thread. For the record, this thread is/issues/958847. aw

I have Mac OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion, Firefox 24.0, who says that it is up-to-date and Java 7 day 45, also updated. I want only answers for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux.

Java test online works OK in Safari, but not in Firefox. Firefox think that Java is not installed. There is no 'Java Applet plug-in' in the list of plug-ins.

Since Safari is OK, I suppose that there is a bug in Firefox. Can simply by determining which combinations of versions (of Mac OS X, Firefox and Java) have the Java plug-in and which don't?

  • Firefox does support java applets if the "next generation plugin" is disabled via the control panel of the Java plugin.

I'm still trying to get a definitive answer to this question.
My applet is not 'Next Generation in line'. When we run our applet in Internet Explorer, it works very well as long as we disable the "next generation Plugin" via the Java plug-in Control Panel. However our applet does not work in Firefox if the cmdlet-the next generation"is disabled.

It is a requirement that is I want to run an applet in Firefox 3.6.x or higher that the "next generation plugin" be activated via the control panel of the Java plugin.

The current versions of Firefox (3.6 or later version) can only run Java applets through the next generation plugin.

I had built a Java Extension with version 1.0 update modifing WidgetConfigImpl.java as PDF attached. And I was running properly.

Now, with the 1.5 SDK don't work and Java not return a warning or an error.

I have tried otherwise, generating a .jar and include it in the file ext with eclipse, but do not show the .jar in Add dialog, this same problem occurred at 1.0 and I solved adding that the Java plug-in with the attached PDF file.

Y at - it new path by adding the extension modifing WidgetConfigImpl.java or something similar?

Why anti-pop immediately following pushScreen in your code?  I don't even know what that would do, but there is a good chance that it will never show your screen.

This does not work for the screen display?  Generally speaking, you would record your screen as a listener for an event and close the form this way, right?

    UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable() {    public void run() {        try {            UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushScreen(_screen);        } catch (MediaException e) {             Dialog.alert("Error: " + e.getMessage());        }    }});

  • East Java plug-in 12.4.1. safe to download and install?

Depends on. The legitimate java plug-in is safe to install, but some sites Web uses fake pop up windows to get you to download software that is not actually Java. You can download java on http://java.com/en/.

  • How can I delete / remove the Java Deployment Toolkit plugin in Firefox

This plug in has been disabled by Firefox, because vulnerability as well so I see no need to keep it on my system and want help in deleting as it doesn't have an option for this. Also when I visit some sites that should be displayed as HTTPS, but they only show that HTTP how can I solve this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you so much see you soon.

I don't have Java installed on any of my systems, but the following should work again to remove Java Deployment Toolkit on Windows systems. This method removes only the JDK plugin and only in Firefox. You may need to do this after each update because Java always reinstalled JDK with each update. Article: ' do not forget to save this file before deleting you can restore it if something is not '. You may need to delete the file with Firefox closed or you may need to restart Firefox after the deletion to see the change/remove in your list of plugins in Modules > Plugins.

Also, you should be able to use the Windows search function in the start menu looking for npDeployJava to find this file.

You can also type about: plugins in the location bar URL and press the Enter key to find the name of the file and its location associated with plugin JDK in the Java/Oracle deal has changed the name of the file.

  • After the "new version" download Java 6 times, my plugin check page indicates that he has disabled my 'version outdated' and asks me to upgrade. What do I do?

    Background:
I had this problem for several months now. This problem started when an update came to Java on the Firefox Plugin check. Quickly, I installed the new update of Java. But the Firefox update register that I downloaded, even though I refreshed the page. So, I got rid of the old Java and downloaded again the new Java. When the page has continued to post the same message he had before, I downloaded a few times more. Finally, Firefox stopped to say that I was at day. Then a few weeks later perhaps I check Firefox Plugin, and on the page it says that I'm overwhelmed in Java. So I downloaded Java again. But Java was still in the list, with the red and said that he had to be updated. I restarted the computer. Then I restarted Firefox Mozilla with no Add-ons. When Java appeared still to be updated, I gave up and did not something more on this topic.
    Problem:
Today, I decided to check my plugins. Java was not updating the list, and at the top a banner said, "Missing JAVA? For your security, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please install the latest version. "I clicked on"upgrade to the latest version"and was brought to the Java page. I clicked on the download button. My cache indicates that it was this same Java plug-in (see background) download (6). I chose the re - download anyway. But Firefox always insists on the fact that I him have not downloaded.
    Question:
Should I go to the control panel of Java and change something? I have to fix a few settings on Firefox? Should I disable Java entirely, delete all the files related to Java on my computer and start over with Java? What should I do?

Try to use http://ninite.com/java/ninite.exe to install Java. Please note that even if download you it you have to double click it to run and install.

  • Do we need to disable Javascript in Firefox / Options / content box? Or just in the Java Control Panel?

Need clarification on issues of Java. It is clear that we can disable Java in the configuration java itself or via the plug-in Panel.

However, what about the firefox options menu? When you click on Tools_Options_Content and then you can check or uncheck 'Enable JavaScript' - which is sure to be checked/enabled or also belongs to the security concern w / Java now?

Hello aladria, javascript is a different technology from java. Firefox 18 will not automatically execute the vulnerable version of the java plugin - on websites where it is used, you will need to enable it manually. in case you want to totally disable the java plugin because of the latest reports of the vulnerability 0-day-you can do it in firefox > addons > plugins.
