• I can not even open FF because the profile is not found, even after using the profile in order to create a new profile.

  I've recently upgraded to version 40 39.0.3. The first upgrade was not so I removed FF using the control panel (uninstall program). I reinstalled again, but I got the messages that FF was already running, etc. as other users have noticed. I open profiles (Open firefox.exe - p) and tried to open FF with the "default" profile that did not work. I created a new profile ("defaultuser") and FF open. (I have the box checked to use the new profile on startup). I have created FF as I wanted it, and then exit. When I started later FF, the profile is not found. The profile did not have the "defaultuser" profile, does not open with the "default" profile, but would a new profile must be created and FF to open and run. Quit FF and reopen produces the same sequence (profile not found, etc.) I uninstalled 40 and reinstalled version 39.0.3 and I have the same problems with this version (39.0.3), plus he's starting the upgrade to version 40, and soon as I complete the installation again. I uninstalled the 39.0.3/40 version and reinstalled 40 using the Profiles page to write this question.

  I've read other discussions on this issue, but they are not mine. I'm on Win 10. I renewed my subscription to the CC 2 months ago. After that I updraged to win 10 of Win 7, I use Acrobat before going to win 10 - authorized download Msoft.

  My previous topic of the forum had the answer that I need to change the Hosts file. There is NO hosts file that contains a reference to Adobe. I did a deep wide search of the system. The Hosts file IS an example of Msoft.

  I was also told to be sure to use the email address correct for activation - of course, I did it!

  All other CC enabled properly. Tried to activate Acrobat for 2 months, paying for a product that I can't use, sick and now angry. All I can do with Acrobat is what I get as a free AA player.

  Recently, I had to have my hard drive replaced due to overheating laptop computer. I lost everything, but the repair has reinstalled windows vista Home premium and the laptop worked ok. I noticed that I need to activate windows in 11 days or I will lose it. repairman said I just need to enter the product code on the label of the rule on the underside of the laptop, as it was the code for Vista which has been included in the Laptop.But it keeps getting rejected and it seems that I have to buy a new product code. DOE this way to buy a new pack of Vist, its very clear on the Microsoft site? Is there a way round this or I may as well buy a new laptop.

  Method 1:

  I suggest you to do a scan of the SFC. File system (CFS) Auditor verifies that all Windows 7 system files are where they should be as they are by default and not corrupted, changed or damaged.

• "The operating system not found" message after the display of the Dell Logo

  My HDU failed (Inspiron 5100 using XP Home).  I installed a new HDU, you use Win XP Home oem disk (object of Dell original lost).  Use the drive as a partition.

  Now to start a 'Operating System Not Found' message appears after the Dell Logo is displayed.

  Pressing on Ctrl/alt/del removes the message, and the Dell Logo displays of new laptop starts perfectly in XP Home...

  I guess that's because I couldn't set up the small partition normally present (assume it has diagnostic data, etc.).

  No way to delete the message?  (?? The BIOS setting?)

• XP Reinstall or repair the installation, all the keys show as zero and will not turn on!

  I do installs repair and re - installs several PCs in the last days, and none of the license keys are coming as valid, though even I am sure they are (the PC came directly from Dell).

  Now, I have one, I did a repair install, though I have the correct cd (oem, oem cd installation), the key showed as not valid for repair so I used the public keys of http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457096.aspx to complete the installation.

  Now, however, I can not connect to Windows. It won't let me open a session as long as I go through the product activation and activation says that my (valid) key is not valid! I would use the key update tool, but cannot connect to use it!

  It said that the key which is on my COA which has been on the Dell PC is not valid? It's a bit infuriating. The first couple I gave up and used nine keys of unopened copied of XP that I have, but I'm out of those now and in any case the old keys must be still valid! Unless MS is turn off old keys to sell more. Seems pretty shady to me.

  More information is needed, such as:

  1. is the Dell keys to products for Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional?

  2 is the OEM Windows XP CD, you are using a Windows XP Home Edition or a version of Windows Professional?

  3. what level of Service Pack is installed on the CD that you are using? 1, 2 or 3?

  4. have you tried to use the Windows product key update tool ?

• Help to apply the key to unlocking EX90 after upgrade

  I upgraded an EX90 to TC5 without adding the key to release first.  After the upgrade, I could still access the web page, but I had to unplug the unit to go home and I contacted TAC for the key to unlocking this morning.

  Now I can't the configuration web page to apply the license key.

  Any ideas what the problem is?

  You can hava a computer connected to the same network (same switch, same vlan, same IP range).

  Best have a wireshark running on this computer to see if you get something of the endpoint and tell us what is the result.

  * ping to the endpoint

  * ssh access (e.g. PuTTY)

  * telnet

  * https

  * http

  If it does not lead to you what it is, you can try factrory default reset:

  The serial cable would need to have the touchscreen connector,... not sure the pinout.

  2. When exactly your computer shutdown? It's trying to access any document in particular?
