The Lenovo parts warranty

I bought a Lenovo M91p last year. It is still under warranty.

It came with 2 hard drives. One of them (the secondary hard drive) makes a noise rhymic scratch. Clearly the reader tells me something is wrong and he will become problematic and lead to a failure in the future.

I called Lenovo about a replacement on that, but I wonder something...

Recently, I was looking on their page of the parts warranty (I can't find it now) and read something about replacement parts 'can be refurbished. Does anyone know if Lenovo replace failed parts by refurbished parts or not? Is there a way to tell if you have been pawned a part renovated?

I REALLY hate when companies sell you a product at the cost of the new, it fails, and they will be replaced by a "renovated" room Essentially, you get someone else used a part which does not which was fixed to the top and said "good to go". Not cool if you ask me. If you pay again, you get again. If this new piece turns out to be defective, you should get a new part replaced. Not a used component replaced.

Sorry about the tangent, anyone know? Does anyone have a URL where Lenovo says their position? I'll probably ask for support when I call tonight.

part renovated will be clearly marked as such with an orange sticker refurbished. I didn't know Lenovo using hdd given to nine before, they renovate usually things like motherboard and things like that, where the new parts are no longer available.
