the magic Mouse loses connection

I have an iMac 21.5 "running 10.11.6. Recently, I added a to an existing stereo system bluetooth connectivity so I could broadcast on the system. By the way since then I lose my connection to the mouse. I get "connection lost" notification even if the mouse is sitting idle without hands even near him. I tried the suggested pieces of paper, battery replacement and any other thing, I found displayed. Nothing works. As I was typing that I got the message several times, and I'm not even using the mouse! I have another computer in another location and plan to try to see if the problem changes switching. I suspected that the additional bluetooth device could be the culprit, but I tried to unplug and had the same results. It is not a problem with another computer running the same operating system, even if a year or two older hardware. The intermittent mouse problem existed before, but I've lived with him because he doesn't seem to be that bad. Now, I have moved and am in an apartment complex and wonder if there is an interference cause me pain. I do not know to replace the mouse by a non Apple device can solve the problem or if I need to use a WIRED one remedy! The keyboard has never given me problems and with the exception of the low battery notification, it has worked perfectly.

Open a Finder window. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Type or copy paste the following text:

Click OK, and then place the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file in the trash.

Can it match the Magic Mouse > OS X El Capitan: use an Apple wireless mouse

If this does not help, because you are having problems with the battery, Reset System Management Controller (SMC)

There is no reason why the iMac should not be able to use a USB mouse. With the mouse connected to the computer off the computer tower and turn it back on. Now it doesn't recognize the mouse? If this is not the case, try a SMC reset.

  • the magic mouse keeps disconnect

Since I upgrade 10.11.5 OS, (iMac, retina-1 years material) my magic mouse keeps disconnect in the middle of my work - installed new batteries. And, when my computer is asleep, it is not wake up. Everything freezes. Any thoughts?

The index is with your comment "of the new batteries installed.    Once you have upgraded to 10,11 El Capitan, there is a mouse specially designed for this OS.   It is not really spoken aloud, but the box for the Magic Mouse 2 has a clear statement to be for OS 10.11 (+).   As operating systems go for ever higher, it may make sense to buy new mouse because all subsequent operating systems will need the facilities of this new creature.    The old mouse will work to some extent, but not, it seems, 100%.

My pro iPad connects to the WIFI, but loses connectivity to drops in use.  My other IOS devices (iPhone, macbook, etc.) do not have this problem.  Ideas to solve?

    Hello BrooklynWM!

I definitely want my iPad to stay connected to the Wi - Fi connection while I use it.  Thanks for posting that other iOS and OS X devices have no problem with the connectivity dropping.  We can try a few things.

Would first go through the steps listed in this article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi - Apple Support Network

Then if it does not help, you can check network settings with this: recommended for the WiFi routers and access - points Apple supported

After trying those, if you still see the drop connectivity, make sure the iPad Pro is updated with iOS 9.3.2 and check to see if the connection when you are in a certain place, time, or one event happening elsewhere in the House.

    Best regards.

  • Green flashing light on the Magic Mouse

I thought that a green light flashing on the Magic Mouse 1 (not rechargeable), means that the necessary batteries replaced or recharged.  I put new batteries in, and yet the green light continues to blink.  This is a new mouse, sent to replace their defective Magic Mouse.  The defective mouse works, but I can't get the new one to work.  I can't get support to help me with this. I tried to use the conversation, and they have disconnected while I was writing my question. RRR

My magic mouse 2 is loaded (88%) and connected via bluetooth to my macbook pro (late 2011, OS X El Capitan 10.11.4).) Sometimes it loses connection and after a short time reconnects, what should I do for him have always connected, I mean without capricious disconnections?

  • the magic mouse disconnects regularly

Since last week my Magic Mouse is losing connection with my iMac (OS X Sierra) pretty regularly--several times each hour, sometimes more often - the connection is only lost for 5-10 seconds, but it's a lot of time when you're trying to work. Anyone else had this problem and had been able to find a solution?

If your Magic Mouse is version 1 (with batteries), it won't be to fully integrate with Sierra.   You can buy Magic Mouse 2 for that.   Because all future operating systems need, you may as well buy now.

  • Persistent problems with the Magic Mouse

I have persistent problems with my Magic Mouse. He often stops followed (i.e. the cursor on the screen does not move when I move the mouse), or the input button on malfunctions (i.e. I don't click and drag, or cannot right click, or when I click on something and that you hold the button down it doesn't "stick").

I called Apple and they took me through all the troubleshooting steps (reset the SMC, PRAM, etc.) and I finally get a new mouse. I got a new and have exactly the same problems!

The ONLY thing that solved the problem by restarting the computer, or logging in and out. But the problem then begins again after anywhere from a few minutes to a few days (the most often within hours).

    Any ideas?

Here is more information in case it is useful:

    • I plugged a wired Logitech mouse, and to my surprise, it also does not work. I thought that the problem was related to the wireless/Bluetooth connection, but this clearly isn't.
    • I have a Wacom tablet attached to my computer, and it works very well, no matter if it has connected (via USB dongle) wireless or wired (via USB).

There seems to be something wrong with any particular software/system control the mouse.
