  I recently had an update to the device and now my calendar and contacts will not sync (photos/videos do).  I have a Q10 and my device software is released: 10.2.1.2976

  People seem to get hung up when he said 'matching records"subject to half way through, but the calendar gets stuck at the beginning when he says 'getting status for BB calendar."  No update anything.

  Here is the error message I receive in my journal:

  CPreferencesManager: Value of Configuration for/Preferences/Account_2_131074/SuncAccountId_2 not defined in TransConfig.xml for translator RimBB

  I looked my configuration settings (even if nothing would have changed) and they are as they always were.  Nothing is missing or out of place.

  OK, rookie move.  I should have tried that first... I rebooted my phone (a battery, etc.), restarted my computer and then reset my configurations by default, reconfigured everything as it was before... and it worked.

  I had no luck by disabling addons, and I found that I'm unable to start in SafeMode (another problem to solve), but in research and the elimination of other culprits (malware) this problem stopped.

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all Norton software (including LiveUpdate and everything Norton Add ons) via Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program (or Control Panel |) Programs and features, if you are using the classic view).

  4 IMPORTANT! -Online activate Windows Firewall immediately after the restart.

  NB: Now you're "working without a net": no to ANYTHING else online (e.g., navigation, reading e-mail, chat) until you have completed step #7 below!

  Well, I tried to watch a video on Tumblr, but it promts to download the new Flash. Do it for firefox and Opera. It still says that it requires latest Flash. Java is enabled in both browsers. Download a hint that java needs to be updated also, so we do this. Still nothing. Try to clear history and other browsers, still nothing. I uninstall and reinstall Java, it will not yet show videos!

  Adobe's Flash site says I have the latest version, and youtube works fine. What shall we do? It's really boring and hopeless. I had this problem before on older computers, and it becomes a bit tiresome always having such a fuss with flash/java updates.

  Hey, that was a great explanation and complete what I'd do is first go to Tumbir and see if you can find requirement info or assistance system. When you say that it says you need Flash 10, is there information more than that? Are there any other numbers? We had 10.0 etc and now it is 10.1. Maybe they do not support vs 10.1.102.64.

  I think you're right assuming that it may be the site that asks the questions, but maybe that's what precedes or Shockwave Player is required. If you have a Twitter account, that you could see what are these requirements or if you have a friend who could check.

  Clearly Flash Player works fine with your browsers and youtube, so there is no problem there.

  I use IE6 and youtube works very well :-) I think I have fewer problems with IE6 as well as being able to view what I want, even the BBC :-)

  I leave Flash Player exactly as it is... working!
