The mouse cannot move a clip left or right

If this has just started happening to me today. Usually, if I click a clip in my calendar it will slide left or right without problem. Today, it won't. The strange thing is the inch rear clamp or the hotkey before work just fine but will not go with my mouse.

Do not exclude what is obvious, but you have not enabled on another tool outside the tool of selection by accident, you have? also, you have not accidentally displays keyframes track instead of keyframes of the elements? Two simple ways to accidentally prevent you from being able to move clips with your mouse!

    Hello

You will need to reverse the clean boot, as it is either incidental compared to
the real cause of the problem. What, where you try to fix initially using the cleanboot?

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If so you can try the configuration - control panel

Right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

    Hello Mr.Will,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists:

    Method 1:

Step 1: Try to start your system in a State of services necessary to the operation and a minimal set of drivers, active Mode without failure.
Start your computer in safe mode: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

Step 2: If the system works fine in safe mode, try to clean the system startup:

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: See "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

    Method 2:

You can run a Microsoft Security Scanner to make sure that the computer is free of infections:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:
the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • Location of the mouse controlling movie clips shake

So, I want to control a rotation of clips from the film with the location of the mouse, with easing if possible. But I'm having trouble knowing where to begin. Can anyone help on this?

  • Position of the mouse goes to where he left the guest back to the guest (RESOLVED)

I have 4 Mageia (Linux) as a guest in 10 workstation. I have installed VM tools in the comments.

Now, here's the problem. Say I move the mouse off the screen of Mageia VM and go click on a window in the host, as checking my email or something, so I smile above Mageia. Now I'm hovering over something I want to click on to Mageia, like Firefox. But when I click on the mouse button, the cursor jumps to where he left Mageia. So now I must get back on the mouse to the Firefox icon and click again.

Is this perhaps a parameter in VM tools? Or is it maybe a setting to Mageia? I can't really see any reason that someone would choose this behavior, so I think that the VM tools cannot reposition the mouse pointer to where it is now, for some reason, and Mageia just think that this is where it has been changed.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I found the fix if anyone needs.

    (2) I tried with an external USB mouse, disable touchpad/pointing stick. No result, same behavior

Maybe you can try to start with a Live CD/USB. If this problem occurs also with the OS Live the question is related to laptop. If not, it s a Windows problem and perhaps a recovery would solve the problem.

  • The mouse icon moves firmly around the screen

Original title: floating freely icon mouse?

When you move the icon on the screen, it does not move firmly/precisely...feels almost as another hand is control.

    Hi Claire,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

In order to help you better, please provide us with the following information:

    1. Using a wired or wireless mouse or a touchpad?
    2. Using a laptop or desktop?
    3. Check the behavior by plugging another mouse.

According the description, I understand that the mouse icon is not mobile firmly across the screen. I suggest methods and check them off below if it helps:

    1. check your mouse for dirt or debris if you use a wired mouse. To check debris, flip the mouse and twist the casing around the ball. It should run free, allowing you to remove it. Check the mouse cover and the area around the compartment of mice for the forests of dust that can keep the ball from rolling freely.

    2. determine if a recent update is causing your mouse drifting on a laptop. Click on the "Start" menu and open the "Control Panel". Click on "System and Maintenance" and then click "Backup and Restore Center." Select a restore point and to reinstall updates one by one to determine what update causes your cursor problem.

    3. disconnect your mouse if you use a cable one and make sure that your USB port is free of debris. Plug the mouse back and if the problem is resolved.

4 update your device driver by right-clicking on "My computer", then clicking on "Properties" and then clicking on the tab "Hardware" "Device Manager." Find your mouse driver, right click and select "update driver software".

I suggest you to refer the below link and try to change the mouse settings and check:
