  It doesn't matter whether or not this option is displayed. Just open the preferences and restart LR should dissipate it.

  Works very well for semi-bas was a little flakey in an earlier version of ID and sometimes I have to restart the application.

• The mouse scroll wheel stopped working after windows updates

  I have a Targus optical mouse with a scroll wheel; and he recently worked like this: when you use the scroll wheel in multiple windows, it would scroll the window (to move the vertical scroll bar) goes up and down.  It was a huge time saver, and I was used to it.

  I installed recently a whole bunch of patches from microsoft, including Windows 7 SP1 and Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center.  The device is not listed in the center of the keyboard and mouse MS, but there is always a control-> mouse Panel.

  In Control Panel-> mouse, it has still the tab saying "wheel" roll the mouse to a notch wheel to scroll the rows x number of rows (it is selectable, I had 3, but tried to change as well); but it no longer works.  Now, it seems, I have to press the wheel to click, which then shows a circular scroll up/down, icon, and then I physically move the mouse up and down, and if I push down to click again on the wheel, I'm back to a regular movement of the mouse pointer.  It's MUCH more inefficient than the use of the wheel, so I'll try to figure out how I can get the drive working again.

  Should I uninstall MS Mouse and keyboard Center?  I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling the driver; but there is no mouse listed in the Device Manager (only has my touchpad there...)  It's a Targus optical mouse amu10usz; and even once, it was working fine before the installation of upgrades...

  I will suggest you to check the mouse with different USB port or another computer, still question remains the same! Follow the mentioned methods:

  Were far from affected computer, sorry for the delay, attached my answers to your questions and suggestions: brand and model of mouse: MEDION (wireless)... Unknown model... came with the computer method 1 MEDION: I selected the optional updates and automatic updates since I got the computer and works ok method 2: could not do without happen in safe mode... too complicated to follow other tips pages Ref other modes! BUT... when I tried to reboot in safe mode, the model pulled until the bar moving green loading with the Microsoft Word briefly appeared and immediately took refers me to the black page on which the only option I've heard was to start Windows the last course setting (or words to that effect)... what I did and the computer has pulled up as normal... and since then the pointer problem Innefective mouse wondering did not occur! COMMENTS ON YOUR SUGGESTIONS METHOD I & 2: these links took me to links, links, links etc which were too numerious... too technical in parts to undertsand... so I'm in a situation that, even if the fault has not reappeared, i.e. I don't know really what the fault is, therefore, if this happens again, I'll need a 'hold my hand' approach more useful rather than running mutiple links to me on which I have to make a decision, which I am not qualified for this!   I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000 that I use on my laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit installed on it.

  Recently, the mouse wheel is crazy I've put it down it scrolls to the top, scroll down, done both or nothing. and this only happens when scrolling down, there is no problem of scrolling upward.

  I changed the USB port - in which I put the receiver - the only one directly attached to the motherboard. That gave me minutes of scrolling perfect without problem, but after having tried other ports he went crazy again.

  I tried to uninstall the driver from Device Manager and then put it back, but to no avail (I did for several ports)

  I should note that the problem itself is fluctuating, which sometimes means that the wheel is crazier than others and I tried the mouse on another laptop and the problem does not occur.

  You know that you can control the fields of Photoshop http://screencast.com/t/ApVseKYRxz with the mouse wheel. Quite handy indeed. Just click on the field and spin the wheel and change the values.

  The problem:

  My mouse wheel is unable to control the entry boxes in this way. I select the field, spin the wheel and nothing happen. When I turn it faster a couple of times, that values are changing - odd ha? Scroll normally - don't change, scroll fast change. But to scroll quickly is not an option because I can't change the values slightly in small increments... There is a bug really...

  What I tried and did not work:

  1 restarted Photoshop

  2. connect / disconnect and change of the different receivers two USB slots.

  3. last Reintalling drivers SetPoint (after uninstalling I run ccleaner)

  4 put the logs all settings by default (because I specifically programmed some MouseKeys to Photoshop).

  5 install earlier versions of SetPoint drivers.

  6. set my UEFI BIOS to default values.

  7 restart the BIOS to load all the drivers again, but still no luck

  (the last think I did is to reinstall Photoshop)

  What I've researched so far:

  1. when I restart the computer and run Photoshop it works perfect HA! , but after a few seconds it is not words again...

  2. when I stop the SetPoint software, when I stopped it, it word perfect.

  3 when I unplug the keyboard receiver it word perfect, but I have no keyboard :)

  4. everything works perfectly in Illustrator and After effects.

  5 also, I noticed that when I CameraRaw images scrolling - http://screencast.com/t/xKnn6cY9 the I scroll more difficult and more difficult to achieve - spin the same problem.

  1. uninstall your current driver of the set value.

  2. run CCleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

  3. download an older version of setpoint - http://www.oldapps.com/setpoint.php

  (I used the SetPoint 6.15 software (x 64), I tried 6.20 6.32, 6.50, but no luck)

  4. now, all right!

• Down on the Image, but not on the mouse scroll bar event?

  Hi all

  I use an event "Mouse Down" on an image to save the coordinates X and Y of the click and increment a counter.  My problem is that I'm looking at an image with a scroll bar that I want to use to set what part of the image is visible.  When I click on the scroll bar, I set off the mouse event down and increments the counter, which I won't do.

  Is there a way to implement a mouse event to the bottom so that it will ignore clicks on the image scroll bars?  If not, can you think of another way to accomplish what I'm doing?

  Some quick ideas:

  The scroll bars will be a fixed height or width of the right or at the bottom of the indicator. In the mouse to the bottom of the event handler, if the click happens to a set of coordinates that are in a region of scroll bar, you know, do not increment the counter.

  OR

  Maybe you can overlay a transparent image control such that it covers the image but not the scroll bars, and find clicks on this second control.

  Greetings, every weekend our computers at work are automatically restarted. I just Monday and my mouse pointer is blue sky! Well, easy to put back, but why is this happening?     To reproduce the problem: Reboot Windows box at work. Do not connect! The remote access connection from the Mac must be the first login after the reboot.  Go home.  Home: 20 "iMac running OS X 10.6.8 run Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client v2.5.3055 on iMac, connect to the VPN.  Run MS RDC for Mac on the Mac.  Connect to the Windows computer at work, which is running XP SP3 Professional v5.1 home.  Do normal stuff.  Sign out of DRC.  Disconnect the VPN.  Go to work.  Open a session.  The mouse pointer is blue instead of Standard Windows! If I use Windows inverted, the mouse pointer is changed to be transparent with black outline.     ***?     I tried looking on the Net occasionally and either get to sites that tell me how to get a blue arrow or how to use a.     No, this isn't a big problem, but I'm very curious to know why this happens.     Thank you!     AEF
