I use windows vista home Edition. I have MS Word 2007.
Thanking you in advance for the help

Hey,.

If the Touchpad is too sensitive and even the slightest brush of the hand or sleeve (wrists) causes the laptop thinking that you "click the mouse". This makes the insertion point jump to where ever the cursor is being located. What you need to do is to go into the setup for the Touchpad and disable the mouse click simulation or change the sensitivity of much lower. that is, if you go to control panel, mouse, you should be able to change the sensitivity of the touchpad or disable the function 'click '. Or if you have an attached external mouse then just turn it off. Reduce the sensitivity option low and verify if you are able to work with Word normally.

Insert a USB mouse and check if you are facing the issue. If it works great, I recommend you contact your pavement tactile manufacturer for additional support.

Kind regards

  • Help please - move/jump cursor while typing

I have an Acer ASPIRE 5532 Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and IE9. Whenever I try to type (like now), the cursor will be jump/jump to another area or spot & that's where will my typing entry. I have to watch what I type like a hawk to make sure I type where I should be. I tried troubleshooting - all drivers are updated via Microsoft & the Acer site, have disabled all add-ons/re-permits all the add-ons-then crossed modules one by one, the keyboard navigation is disabled, run anti-virus programs, etc. It's driving me crazy. I'm going to constantly where the cursor has decided to jump, removing my entry typed, place the cursor where it must be & start typing again. I had to perform the operations described in the last sentence of 11 times, in order to type this request for assistance.

Does anyone have an idea what causes this? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

The most common cause of the behavior that you describe is the Touchpad.

Because the keyboard is integrated in the housing of the computer laptop, something so simple that the vibration caused by typing can cause the touchpad the cursor or initiate a click, depending on sensitivity settings.

You must disable the touchpad when typing. Most modern laptops provide an option or a keyboard shortcut to get there.

The following keyboard shortcuts have been known to disable the touchpad on different systems. Press and hold down the Fn key and then press F3, F4, F6, F7, F9, or F12 to disable the Touchpad.

Specific instructions, read the instructions for your system or contact the support of laptop manufacturers.

Computers laptops ACER , to disable or enable the touchpad press and hold down the Fn key and press F6 or F7 . If you are still experiencing a problem, please contact Acer support for assistance.

  • Resizing of the form textfield while typing?

    Dear experts,

We know the 'Auto adjustment' functionatlity: a form of text to complete has changed its size to the size it takes.

But we would like to know if it is possible to change the size, while the user types?

Users have reported that they were upset of the scroll bar when typing and the text becomes readable only after the size has been adapted.

Thank you very much, Matthias BR

It is not possible with AcroForms. It is possible with the Designer (Live-Cycle), but which is no longer distributed as part of the AA XI.

  • Satellite L450D: erratic cursor while typing

    Hi first post

I recently took delivery of Sat L450, as part of access to the House for our daughter aged 11.

My problem is that while typing on or off line, the cursor is erratic.
He can jump in any other line and if you don't watch it constantly, it screws up what you typed.

I just searched for drivers and noticed there are two types of drivers of topuchpad, so not sure whether this would solve the problem or that one. (all by typing this message the cursor jumped to previous rows 5 times)

  • I get a triangular in shape of the mouse cursor while you browse up and down on Web sites.

Original title: remove a triangular arrow that appears when you use internet and browsing up - and down?

I think I've had this before and it drives me crazy.  When on any internet site, whether by e-mail, another site I'm browsing through the information and try to scroll to the bottom of the page, this triangular arrow will appear. sometimes with an up and down arrow in a circle and a dot in the middle. It takes all my control now to scroll the page and quickly toward the front of the page down and if I try to scroll up the opposite occurs.  The only way I cawn stop is to click again and it will stop it temporarily.  Can someone tell me how to get rid of this annoying "helper"?

Click on the scroll of the mouse wheel to turn on or off scroll.

  • Behavior strange cursor while typing!

Does anyone know why my cursor continues to go to previous text parts while I type?  It's really annoying to be hit and suddenly you type in the middle or the end of the preceding words.  Thank you.

It's a laptop with a touchscreen? Sometimes mine seems to work even if I don't touch not really - I suppose that's static which accumulates during the strike. Often there is a function key that disables the touchpad. When I use mine, the cursor jumps can't.

    Hi Astrochick,

Check the status after the replacement of the mouse.

If you encounter the same problem, try to reinstall the mouse drivers.

Also, insert your OS cd in the DVD drive & run the following command,

Using a laptop? If so, you are probably accidentally brushing your hand against the touchpad while typing.

  • Why my cursor jump to another area of the page if I stop while typing?

Using windows xp pro, IE 8, while typing, if I pause or stop thinking, sometimes my cursor will move to another area on the page.  If I go back to typing, letters will start to appear when the cursor is, it is very random and only moves to the area on the page where I already typed, sometimes in the middle of a Word.

Important: Reset Internet explore its default configuration. This step will disable also any add-ons, plug-ins or toolbars that are installed. Although this solution is fast, it also means that, if you want to use one of these modules in the future, they must be reinstalled.
