  I have a requirement where an element which currently exists as a stock item (IE a stock model has been applied to him)

  This is not true. Once you have deleted the offending data (for example open sales order, pending transactions), you should be able to change the indicators. In your case, cancel (or ship) sales order lines first and then do not stock the item.

  Try this - use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK
  then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times.
  Then fix the password in your usual account. Do not forget to leave your account administrator if you
  wish.

  Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for
  repair, don't use regular account, not a safety valve) always keep a spare ADMIN account.

The window "New bookmark" that opens after choosing ' bookmark all tabs "does not make clear what needs to be done now to save all open tabs. It was a simple matter of just to name the folder. Now, it's not not clear to me that parts of the pop-up window must be filled to actually get the tabs open bookmarks instead of just get an empty folder called [name of folder].

  Back in 3.x and more I was able to place a "open new window" button and a button "open new tab" in the bookmarks toolbar. This has worked well for me. Now with 4, the 'new tab' is not available, and you can open a new tab using the default button, right next to your already open tabs.
