the new "Apple Support communities"

For a long time, I came here to get answers to many of my questions to Apple. It just seemed obvious to ask a question on a forum for easy navigation. But since the 'points system started, I get no feedback that would help. I ask a question and the answer is a link posted 4 years ago. I mean that if I wanted google my question, I would have. Or maybe they go to the app store and search for top rated app...  These people should not answer the question if they don't know what they are talking about. (The funny part is, they are at levels 6,7,8)

Are yall going to be protroling it more, because they are runing the great forum you initially.

Thank you

Anyone can post here. You will get a few right answers and others less well.

As for doing research on the web, I have answered a lot of questions like this. Users simply don't know how to find an answer, or maybe can't be bothered.  98% of the questions here have already been resolved and if I can post a link, I will. If I'm supposed to type a solution already answered in detail elsewhere I probably not bother.

  • Change username to Apple Support communities

    Hi all!
I would like to create this discussion, because I would like to change my username to Apple Support communities.

It caused a privacy issue because my real user name was "my name. my family name. "

I know it's possible and I apologize in advance for the inconvenience, but it would be nice if you could change my username from forum communities of Apple Support for Don t correspond to my real name.

    Thanks in advance!

I'll ask the hosts make contact with you.

  • Acorn TV does not work on the new Apple TV

So disappointed that the Acorn TV app does not work with the new Apple TV we just bought. We have subscribed on iTunes and nothing happens when you try to activate the software. We can look good on the MacBook, iPad and iPhone. Verified the purchase on iTunes account and that's fine. Contact Acorn and say it is a matter of Apple.

Strange that I have to use Chrome to even write this question. Safari and hers do not work with the Support pages. I'll send in the comments.

I'm resetting Apple TV now. We have been with the Apple TV since version 1. I hope that we can make this work!

  • I am looking to buy a 'new' ipod classic. IPod Superstore claims get the new Apple iPod that Apple is still making them for 5 years, but only to sell them to a few suppliers for resale. Is this possible?

I am looking to buy a 'new' ipod classic. IPod Superstore claims get the new Apple iPod that Apple is still making them for 5 years, but only to sell them to a few suppliers for resale. Is this possible?

Probably not still making them, but Apple political is to the service of produced at least five years after they is no longer manufactured and sold

"Owners of iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac products can get the services and Apple parts or service providers from Apple for 5 years after that the product is longer manufactured,' which is

Vintage and obsolete products - Apple Support

With the iPod, 'maintenance' means often giving you a replacement to pay the off-guarantee fee, which is $ 299 for the last classic model of the iPod, according to this document

Pricing of the Service - The Apple iPod Support

So Apple probably has a stock that's enough to last up to five years after 2014 (when the last classic model of the iPod has been abandoned).  This provider is unlikely to be an authorized dealer, as well as the iPod has not perhaps be covered by the standard warranty of one year.  That's why it comes in a regular white box, not a retail box.  It's supposed to be a replacement of maintenance for the iPod classic (latest model) owners.  It can be 'used', but it is still old.  Parts like LCD, HDD and the age of the battery by sitting in a warehouse.

  • How to make a comeback at Apple Support communities

I had a post removed by Apple's Support for this reason:

We have deleted your message "Why Apple does not allow an iPhone WiFi scanning to do?" because it contained either requests for feedback or functionality of the product.

The agreement of use Apple Support communities here: Apple Support community use agreement

Said to the title of point 2. Presentations:

    3. ask questions and constructive comments. Unless otherwise noted, your submission should be a technical support question or a response from technical support. Constructive comments on the characteristics of the product are welcome also.

So I am confused. It seems that Apple does not follow its own policy. The policy indicates the characteristics of the product information is 'welcome', but my message has been dropped because it discusses the characteristics of the product.

Who can I speak to this topic?

    Thank you.

    -Winston

You posted in what is probably the best place.

But seriously, I'm sure that pulled messages was the fact that you kept asking 'why' Apple does not include the functionality you want. That would put you in breach of

    1. Policy discussions of Apple or procedures or speculation on Apple decisions.

  • ITunes can not remove the old version of the application apple support

I can't install the latest version of itunes. It keeps giving me an error that says something about how it is impossible to remove a previous version of application apple support. I tried everything I could think of and I even manually uninstalled the app apple support but for some reason any freakin, whenever I try to install itunes it comes back. -END OF THE QUESTION - RANT ANGRY BEGIN - I hate itunes. I hate it. Right now, I feel the need to BREAK my monitor SNAP my ipod in 2 and RIP ALL OF MY HAIR OUT. And what's worse, I can't send email Apple, I call them, but I want to do that, otherwise I'll start screaming at the poor soul who has to take my call. Okay, I'm done, I'm off, please help if you can. Thank you.

Unfortunately, it is a process - there are several elements to remove

Remove and reinstall iTunes and software for Windows 7 and later versions - Apple Support components

Once you are done - I would restart the computer and then try a new download / installation
