The new version not allows to bookmark all tabs?
I don't seem to have that option after upgrading to 4.0
Right-click on a tab to see this menu item, or use {Ctrl + Shift + D}.

The process of "bookmark all tabs" apparently has recently changed. The window "New bookmark" that opens after choosing ' bookmark all tabs "does not make clear what needs to be done now to save all open tabs. It was a simple matter of just to name the folder. Now, it's not not clear to me that parts of the pop-up window must be filled to actually get the tabs open bookmarks instead of just get an empty folder called [name of folder].
Thanks for any help you can provide!

I want to know how to make my tabs save when I close Firefox. I did what was suggested in the FAQ section, but all my tabs disappear whenever I close Firefox, you use the command "exit", or the "X" button That was the reason I never updated to the new version previously, but hoped that the problem had been addressed and updated, now I'm stuck with having to reopen each tab whenever I open Firefox. Please tell me there is a way to fix this. And I'm not fluent technospeak, so I need simple and basic instructions. Thank you. Mark

Has given the green light to upgrade Firefox to the latest version, to realize that all stored passwords were no longer available.
Can I restore these passwords?Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/safe+mode
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
You need a (backup) copy of the files logins.json and key3db to retrieve the passwords if you current copies are lost or corrupted.
- Tools > Options > Security: passwords: "saved passwords" > "show passwords".

Try to download the new version not support CS2 on your website
But when I try to install it, get notifications indicating that my serial number is not valid, even if it's the same as my original disk and one on my user profile
You must use the serial number supplied with the special version. Your own serial number will not work any longer.

Where the option "bookmark all tabs open" disappear too?
I use Firefox for years and liked the feature that you allowed to bookmark all tabs open in a Firefox window as a bookmarks folder name. This was supported up to the latest version 3.0.16
But I've recently updated to version 4 and I cann't find the option in the drop down bookmarks more. Can you please advise me where his party too or what I have to put in work and where to get them.
Thank you
Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.
"To bookmark all tabs" in the Bookmarks menu is one of them.
You can see the difference if you use Alt + B or Alt + F to open some menus.- "To bookmark all tabs" is no longer present in the bookmarks menu unless you open the bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
- "To bookmark all tabs" are available through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

Tonight, for example, I have several tabs open that I would close but reopen tomorrow.
I would like to save them all as '30 April' in my favorites... the 0ld version allowed me to do, but I can't find it in the new version.
The only way I don't seem to lose these tabs open, I work with is making "Contol + delete", but I know that this should not be done all the time...
There must be a better way, but if it does not exist, I would be able to come back and work with the old version?

How to add "bookmark all tabs" to the menu of bookmarks in FF 4.0?
I've used this feature as every other minute or so... really... and I find it really less use right-click differentt for all common things.
Any way to get "To bookmark all tabs" back to my bookmarks menu? I'm not in the topic: config and I don't like the keyboard Alt option or the other. It worked so well and easy before... takes longer now.
I have this second also in the order of the menu open and I'd love to have opened again as a second tab in FF before 4.0... possible either... ?
PS - installation of Add-ons not an option for me. I have need of this return of just regular way to FF base.
?
Thanks in advance!

Add code to userChrome.css below @namespace.
The first code makes only the entry "bookmark all tabs" visible.
The second code makes all the hidden menu entries visible.@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */ /* Always show "Bookmark All Tabs" in Bookmarks menu */ #menu_bookmarkAllTabs {display:-moz-box!important} /* show all hidden menu entries */ #navigator-toolbox menuitem[class="show-only-for-keyboard"]{display:-moz-box!important}

I am trying to download the latest version of for example Illustrator (October 2014, including libraries of creative cloud, Lady with sunglasses version) on my computer, but somehow, I still get the old version of (no libraries, version of Lion). Do I did wrong? I have tried a new download of the creative cloud, removed all apps and tried a new Illustrator... still the "old" version
Jeff, I thought that maybe my keychain on my iMac opportunity (I don't have the password) was the problem, then this afternoon I had a Mac Helpdesker synchonization on my desk to help me get rid of this problem. His advice: try a new user to test on your computer to see what makes the cloud to create Adobe. It was still the 'old' version po Illustrator. His advice: re - install your computer... that's what I did and now I have a brand new OS X Yosemite, trousseau AND the new version of Adobe CC and all programs, I want to use. Good thing is that I have 2 weeks of Christmas vacation (I'm a Professor of design)...

In versions prior to 4.0, there was an option to "bookmark all tabs" as well as an option to bookmark individual tabs. He disappeared with the new version and I used it all the time and it will be a pain without it. I've hunted by options and couldn't find anywhere to turn it back on. It is gone or I'm blind?
You can get it by right-clicking on a tab, or use the hotkey Ctrl + Shift + D

Is it possible to bookmark all tabs in a folder at a time?
I love the previous session 'restore' in history, but 1) sometimes I forget until I've already opened a new session. and (2) sometimes I have a couple of value of the windows of the tabs on different subjects. It would be good to have a command to bookmark all open tabs create < folder > instead of bookmarking 10-20 tabs individually; also if I can move on to other topics and close tabs to facilitate the browsing speed. etc...
Thank you!!!

Yahoo mail does not load in the new version of FF!
Since the new version of FF (40.0.2) I can not open yahoo mail. I have try to disable noscript and adblock, but nothing. In old portable version of FF 33 site works very well. Can you tell me what wrong and why new FF disable access to yahoo mail?
First of all, a common problem faced by users with Yahoo! mail is that Yahoo changed their server. If you are using an old bookmark or the old address of the homepage to access your e-mail, try to use this more general address so that if your server has changed, you redirected to the new servers:
If this makes no difference, here are some general things to try:
When you have a problem with a particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clear your Firefox cache and delete your cookies for the site.
(1) delete the Cache of Firefox
See: How to clear the cache of Firefox
Note: If you have a large hard drive, it may take a few minutes.
(2) remove the cookies from the site (waiting for work save first). While displaying a page on yahoo.com, try either:
- Right-click the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.
- Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".
In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.
Then change the address at the top of this dialog from yahoo.com to mail.yahoo.com to see if there are cookies to clear any extra.
Then try to reload the page and sign in again. Workstation?
If this doesn't help, could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
and OK reboot.
Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).
Any improvement?

After having downloaded the new firefox version 8.1 could not follow the 2 steps. When Fox drag the application icon when prompted click on replace existing version, but guest said he can't do it because I do not have sufficient previledges. How can I fill out the download of the new version of firefox.
If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop disk image (dmg)
- Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re) install Firefox.

The new version of Firfox save my passwords and in some cases, my customer identification numbers, even if the passwords for this site "Remember" in the security option is not checked. I don't use a master password. There are no entries in the list "password saved" so I'm not able to remove supposedly saved passwords.
To determine if one of your extensions could make logging in, could test you the page Firefox Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still works
After stops in Firefox, a small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).
Any difference?

How to save bookmark to the new version of firefox?
The new version of firefox does not seem to be the ability to save bookmarks to a file. The instructions provided in support seem to be applicable to older versions. I saved favorites to a file several times before in earlier versions.
Thank you. I did not in the menu, but with the cursor over the bookmark logo, it is said to show your Favorites (Ctrl, shift, O) and which will get me there.
Problem solved.
