The new XP installation error. The signature for the family Windows XP Setup is not valid. The error code is fffffc0d
I'm doing a fresh install of Windows XP Edition family on a new hard drive. I get the same error message indicating that the product catalog can not be installed. I reformatted and retryed with the same result. I tried a different HARD disk, but got the same trouble. I also tried installing XP Pro after a reformat and got the same error. The first error window says "the signature for the family Windows XP Setup is not valid. The error code is fffffc0d", and the second says" error: the system cannot find message for message number 0xfffffc0d text in the file for syssetup.dll fatal error messages: Setup failed to install the product catalogs. " Any directive or ideas would be greatly appreciated. THX

Windows 7 installation error code 0 x 80070017
OK so here is my story... My computer was working very slow so I thought after two years of hardcore use, it was time to restore it and went in the menu of windows 7 on the wiped installation disc the drive clean after saving my files. Now it will not install 7 so I put XP on it to see if it would help it so I could install 7 on it, but it will not install. Your help is appreciated...
Original title: error code 0 x 80070017 Windows 7.
Hi Shane,
Error 0 x 80070017 means that files that are copied from the disc are not making it to the hard drive with the same structure, which means that the 'original' files on the drive are modified/changed/corrupted while being copied to the location of the 'destination' on your hard drive during installation. This usually means the installation media has been corrupted or the player can not read the DVD.
I suggest to create a USB key with the installation files and then install it. You can see the video in the article how to create a USB installation media.

How can I myself spent the 1935 installation error code?
Hi, I am unable to download Adobe Pro successfully - I get an error code 1935. Thanks for any help!
Hi John,.
I just spent 2 hours on the phone with a very useful Adobe support person. The error is due to a problem with Microsoft Windows Update. There is an 'important' update which is not able to install correctly, which in turn causes the problem with the installation of Adobe.
I have not had a chance to research or contact Microsoft on the issue. If a resolution can be found, I will update this post.
Hoping that!

Creating cloud new installation - error Code: 44
Hello
I have a problem, I try to install creative cloud for the first time. I use Windows 10 Pro, Avira antivirus (free version, disabled) and the Windows Firewall by default reset.
The installation of Adobe dialog box opens and displays the download process. It is about 45% and displays an error:
We encountered the following problems:
Installer could not create a directory/fire/critic. Please try to reinstall. (Error code: 44)
I deleted all associated Adobe directory in "Program Files", "Program Files (x 86)", '%Temp%', ' appdata%\... % \Local.
I ran the program 'AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe' which opens then closes immediately, assuming that there is nothing to clean up!
I also run the program listed within the 'Creative Cloud Uninstaller.zip»
I also move the ' CreativeCloudSet - up.exe "file on your desktop and run it from there.
Other help will be appreciated
Anthony
Copy the CCsetup.exe file downloads for the c: drive.

Cannot install Creative cloud installation - error code 46
Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64, service pack 1
Getting this message during the installation:
"Setup could not access a critical file. Please try to reinstall. (error code: 46) »
In case it was a question of privileges:
- Judges as the main user who already has administrator privileges
- Tried to create a new user, admin and installation from which
- Tried to activate the disabled by default administrator user and installation
Also tried with antivirus/firewall off and tried running Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool and then run the installer again.
Same error each time - any ideas on how to get this installed?
Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance
Finally figured it out, so here's the solution to the case where anyone hit this problem - in my case it was a Comodo internet security.
Don't know if it is the anti-virus, HIPS, auto-bac in sand, or the firewall, but I have essentially disabled * all * of them for a few minutes then I ran the installer, and everything worked well. Switched back and the installed application works without any problem at all. Note that Comodo should always be run and each option actually disabled, rather than going out just Comodo in the systray (the protection stays on that if you do this, it still needs to run as a service).
Hope this is of some use and saves some time/hassle for anyone having problems with the installer.

57(d) updates__ installation error code
I'm new to this site, my kids are a little more having to assist me with "small it issues" if I'm here!
Can someone help with this error message please?
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/555375 >
It helps those answering questions if you provide:
what version of windows (32-bit or 64-bit) and service pack level.
you use what browser (exact version).
what application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?
What third-party firewall
What anti-malware software can be installed.
What updates you trying to install? (Number of KB)
What error do you get everything when trying to install updates?
Please try another attempt to update. When / if it fails, copy and paste the lines for 50 or so windowsupdate.log in your response.
Click Start, and then click Run.
in the Open box, type
%WINDIR%\WindowsUpdate.log
and then click ok.
Scroll down to the last entries find the error codes associated with the last attempt to download/install.
Start at the bottom and work your way up a section that indicates an ERROR, WARNING or FATAL.
If appropriate copy / paste the error codes in this thread with 50 or so * previous * lines in your answer, so someone may be able to help.
Also check the windows file called Ko folder * .log (* = number of update ie (KB2286198) and post the content of the update has failed.)
This may even provide clues as to why the update failed.
