  (2) the testing server specified for this site dow does map to the URL http://172.17.187.194/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.asp . Check that the URL prefix corresponds to the root of the site.
  
  The _mmServerScripts folder is at the root of the Web server. When I put a home.html file in the _mmServerScripts folder, the URL http://172.17.187.194/_mmServerScripts/home.html works very well. In fact, I can successfully recover any other file in the _mmServerScripts EXCEPT the critical MMHTTPDB.asp file folder.
  
  This error is still refers to the MMHTTPDB.asp file? Or another file? If so, I can't understand what he doesn't get.

  The DB connection is a SQL Server connection. I get the same error when I put in place an OLE DB connection.

  Of course less than 15 minutes to post this problem I found the answer to the problem.

  Something you installed was not installing correctly.

  Download Autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx --> here

  Install Autoruns, then run it.  Wait until the analysis is completed (as shown in the lower left corner) and then click on the tab 'connection '.  Browse the entries in the right column ("path of the Image) for an entry that includes"system3_.exe ".  When you find it, uncheck the box at the left end of the line and restart your computer.  The error should appear is no longer.

  If you can't find "system3_.exe" on the connection tab, click the "all" tab.  Then click on file > find to search for "system3_.exe."

  I would be interested to learn what caused this particular problem, so when you find the entry, please right click on it and select copy.  Then paste an answer here.

  -What version of Windows you are using on the laptop?

  When I try to start Firefox (Windows 8.1 desktop computer) I get a full white screen with only the following error message:

  Because of this error I can not even start Firefox now, so I had to become a user of Internet Explorer.

  How can I get Firefox to stop looking for this file?

  I found a solution to my problem. Looking in my info on solving computer problems, I noticed that some problems can be resolved by the administrator. I tried with Firefox and it worked. The only damage was that I lost the current tabs. But Firefox seems to work fine otherwise.

  You try to install it from a CD or a DVD or directly from the hard drive?

  I suggest you to download the AOE 3: Warchiefs once more and then try to install it.

  If you are still having the same problem, then you can try to install in XP compatibility mode:

  -Right click on the file setup.exe
  -Left click on properties.
  -Click on the Compatibility tab.
  -Place a check on "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows XP.

  Note: The link also mentions that the operating system supported on Windows XP.

  Method 1: Restore the default settings of the BIOS WARNING: this procedure may involve changing the semiconductor (CMOS) settings of the computer's complementary metal oxide and by changing the BIOS of the computer. Incorrect changes to the BIOS of your computer can result in serious problems. Change the CMOS settings of the computer at your own risk.

  To resolve this issue, restore the BIOS of the computer to its default settings. For more information about the correct settings of the BIOS of the computer and how to check and change these settings, see the computer documentation or contact the manufacturer of the computer.
