I'm creating a form from an existing word document, but miss me the button for 'this document requires a signature' select a file filter. Is there another way, I add this? I need the recipients of the form to be able to type their signature or by electronic means on a touchscreen (e.g. tablets).

When you select the checkbox "this document requires signatures" (which appears when you initially select Tools > form prepare), it sets up to be used with the Adobe sign electronic signature service. If you do this the first time you select Tools > form prepare, then you can select: more > convert Adobe sign in form

While you're in form editing mode.

Note that users will be able to use the fill & sign with a regular Acroform, so if you do not use the Adobe sign service, you can leave as-is and users will be able to place a signature hand anywhere they like, unless you add a digital signature field. You can provide a space for that, but there is no type of form field you need to add.

    I'm sorry, but more recent Adobe Acrobat Reader DC doesn't have the option to sign using the webcam. However, you can take a picture of the signaute using the webcam application save it. Then download this image as a signature signing the PDF using Acrobat Reader DC.

    I am new to this community.  Hope that someone could help me because I myself got recently a Latitude 7350 2-in-1 and I couldn't find the option of hibernation anywhere.  I searched the Internet and followed the debate Win8.1 Hibernate but yet I still could not find the hibernation option.

    This option of hibernation is voluntarily removed from this model?  I understand that DELL place that option is available.  Now the only choice is that I close the Tablet when do not use as standby mode is to drain the battery pretty fast.  It is a real problem that I'm used to use laptop computers with Hibernate option all the time.

    Ah, I found it!

    In power Options\System setting page, to the top there is a link that says "change settings that are currently unavailable." By clicking on that open the possibility to change all the options under stop settings. The advantage of this is adds 'Hibernate' for the shutdown options.

    You also have the Hibernate option for things like "when you close the lid" and "when you press the power button."

    I third possibility is found by clicking on one of the power Plans, then change Plan Settings, then change power advanced settings. This will open a window that includes sleep. Expand 'Sleep', and which adds setting for such as Hibernate Hibernate options after x minutes. (I think it means after x minutes of being in mode 'sleep').

  • My iMac 27 "was missing from the option of resolution 1920 x 1080 since the day I bought it. Apple said it should be fixed in future updates to OS x, but that didn't always happen.

    I have a beginning 2013 27 "iMac I customized with all the best options at the time. Since I bought it, the resolution options have displayed no 1920 x 1080 option, I tried several things as now the option key while noting key worked. In years past, I asked Apple several times about this, and their response was always 'it should be fixed in next update OSX." Well, its been a few years already, and 3 new releases OSX and the problem has never been resolved. I'm pretty sure its a problem with the graphics card from Nvidia, but I can't contact them for support because they can't really do anything. It is not like I can update the drivers for the card, software update is supposed to handle this.

    I think that its ridiculous that I had this problem for so long without help at Apple. It isn't that I'm missing a non-standard resolution.

    I just got my laptop back from the service center, and not surprisingly, they've pushed a device that existed!

    I had my laptop (M30 1.7 GHz special edition) for the centre of repair for a defect and they informed me that the motherboard had to be replaced. I got the laptop back a couple of days and I immediately noticed the laptop is overheating, fan has not turned too often that he was setting the profile to "Full Power".

    After hours of investigation, I noticed that a few options that existed in the Toshiba Power Saver no longer exists. So, in my opinion, that my laptop is running as optimized battery even if it is set to full power.

    As I said, the fan is not put on too often, leading to the laptop is overheating. Then the fan used to be almost constantly on full power before the replacement of the motherboard.

    Here's how the energy saver used to look like 'before' to take the laptop to the repair center:

    with maximum processing speed of the CPU to 3 instead of 4.

    Note how I'm now lack the "CPU control method" option, and I cannot adjust the speed of treatment to more than level 3!

    Cooling method does not appear the maximum performance for me either, because of the symptoms I mentioned above.

    Any idea on why that might happen? Please note that I used the recovery CD system and everything back to factory settings, still no luck. I'm sick and tired of going back to their ugly repair center. If someone can point out the problem, I'll be very grateful.

    P.S. I use version 7 of the energy saver, verion BIOS 1.4 (original)

I checked the drivers are up-to-date and running the doctor scanning & printing. Can anyone suggest anything else to try?

    (My solution for now is to use another pc with windows Vista that still has this option.
