The output of the mode standby

After a recent update of Windows 10, I am unable to use the mouse or the keyboard to wake the computer from sleep.  To resume the use of the computer, I now need to press the power button.  Before the update (from the same Windows 10), I had no problem using the mouse or the keyboard to wake from sleep mode.

I am currently using Windows 10 on an iMac using bootcamp.  Have any other user experience also the same problem?  No useful solution would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Please create a Windows system restore point and re - install the Bootcamp drivers and test.

  • Unwanted automatic reactivation of the Mode standby mode when it is connected to the Internet

I have a relatively new home office Pavilion model p6140F, product number NP192AA, version number software 93NAv6PrA2.  Factory installed operating system is Windows Vista Edition Home Premium, 64-bit, Service Pack 2.  I am connected to the internet via a cable modem.  I made energy-saving settings for automatic sleep mode sleep.  Quite often the computer comes out of fashion "sleep" on its own.  What is strange to me, is that when this happens and I click the Start button at bottom left of the screen or any buttons on the Quick Launch bar, nothing happens on the first click.  Only on the second click the computer is what I normally wait until it gets when clicking on the Start button or the quick launch of the first time button.  I tried an experiment by disconnecting the internet cable from the computer modem and the computer behaves as I expect.  He remains in the mode "Eve" from one day to the next day when I unplugged the internet overnight.  It looks like something 'out there' on the internet is somehow take control of the computer, do not let it go in the mode 'sleep' and play with use and function of the 'Start' buttons and the quick launch area.  At the very least, it's embarrassing, if not malicious.  Is occurring with other users?  Wouldn't be some 'normal' functioning of monitoring by HP, Microsoft, providers of security software that I have permission, or is this behavior that should not be expected.  Thanks for any direction on the techniques of 'analysis' on mine could give clues at the origin of this strange behavior.

  • Win 7 x 64: No. WWAN after the resumption of the mode standby and Bluetooth turned off

    Hey guys,.

I had this problem for a few weeks 1-2, after the exit of the mode ensures my WWAN - the Sony Ericsson 3507g - modem is invisible and my Bluetooth is disabled.

WWAN: the light is off, there is no switch on the screen Fn + F5 and power off/on with the hardware switch does nothing either, after a reboot, that everything is back to normal again until you go back to sleep. A few days ago he suddenly perfectly well but when I had to restart, the problem is back.

Bluetooth: the adapter is always disabled after sleep and sometimes after a reboot, I can not find a model to know when this happens exactly... but I have since my WWAN modem is upward I can't help but wonder if it has the same cause...

I already did a complete new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 today and I'm under the latest Vista drivers, because those who do not work with the Ericsson Wireless Manager Windows 7, they ran flawlessly for a few weeks, so that they should not be the problem...

BOT of the above issues is dealbreakers for me because I'm using WWAN all the time and I use a Bluetooth mouse... then... Please help me ;-)

    Thank you in advance,

    Stefan

I think I found the culprit: the last time I had this problem I didn't know what was the reason.

After that the above post I got it works fine until recently it suddenly reappeared without having done me anything (Finally, I've done something, but I couldn't understand that).

I installed a few games, but nothing about the wwan adapter.

I also had the same problem to launch a vanilla Ubuntu 9.10 x 64.

Finally it dawned on me that, just as the problem the first time, I had also installed Ubuntu. I think that something about the way that Ubuntu handles the umts modem makes it behave this way.

This time (since I seen Ubuntu as the reason yet and I couldn't understand anything more), I opened the Thinkpad and looked for clues as to why this was happening - loose cables and all that - but nothing was wrong. I also disconnected the small backup battery for a few minutes to reset all the BIOS (except the part that is not volatile of course) - who probably had the same effect as turn off/turn on the modem I/O on-screen that solved the problem last time.

Then, I rebooted, entered the BIOS, responsible for the default installation with F9 and it suited my needs. Since then he has worked flawlessly again...

I'm not sure that Ubuntu bad, but it's the only logical explanation, and I think that's the reason why some mistreatment of the modem which required a "reset" on the base material, it is why a complete reinstallation of Windows did not do one thing...

For now, I can just advise all users T500 WWAN to avoid Linux - Ubuntu, especially - at least until understand you what causes the strange behavior.

Just my 50 ct other people with the same problem so some ideas on how to solve this problem.

  • Portege M800 CssSvr.exe error on the output of the mode standby

    Hi all

I have a problem with CssSvr.exe (which as I google it is linked to the TrueSuite Access Manager software for reading fingerprints). Whenever the computer goes mode sleep after the recovery, there is and error associated with this program.

I run windows Vista SP2. And the problem started after updating the software of fingerprint to the latest available version of (TrueSuite Access Manager 2.5.29.0)

No known workaround for this problem?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello

I recommend reinstall this software again.
If this is not enough, then you must disable it in Device Manager for fingerprints to save energy.
    Device Manager-> device fingerprinting-> properties

    Restart the unit.

    Good luck

    Hello

What is your laptop connected to the LAN while waking up from mode sleep?

  • Dell coming Pro 8 doesn't wake up not the mode standby

Twice now, when I leave my only DV8P and it goes standby mode, I can't do the wake him up.  The first time I had this problem, I could close it in connected state and it reboot.

Both times, the battery was almost at full capacity.  It is not a battery problem.

To my knowledge, I have updated the latest drivers.

When I got my DV8Pro I had no problem with the sleep/power button.  After the installation of windows updates and dell updates my DV8Pro would not wake from sleep.  I had to hold the power button to the low during at least 10 seconds release the button and press it again and then it might start up.  I tried to uninstall the updates one at a time and that has not fixed the problem.  Has decided to start again and went to "Recovery Options" and select "Get Started" from the "all delete and reinstall Windows.

My BIOS has been updated as a step to try to cure the problem of sleep and any withdrawal does not have to uninstall the update of the BIOS.  I mention this because maybe that helped my question because the re - install windows has been done with the latest BIOS. If you encounter this problem, maybe you want to update the BIOS before the re-installation of windows.  The BIOS, I used is A04.  (if you want to check your BIOS in the type of research "run" charm. Press enter on the key board, and then in the box that opens type "msinfo32" and click ok.  Look at the entries and you will find the version of your BIOS).  The latest BIOS for the DV8Pro is on the site of dell under support.  I think that I have also updated the update of the firmware on the chip before I re-installed windows.

During the re-installation of windows, I have selected custom set upward and chose to not allow windows to update automatically.  The next step was to install all updates to the Dell web site DV8Pro.  After that all Dell updates have been installed, I went the updates of windows and installed every update, one at a time manually. After each update, I checked to see if the sleep problem reappeared.  This process took some time and I don't know what would happen if you installed just them all at once.  I know that from the top of the list and the installation of each of them individually has fixed the problem.   I still have my defined not updates have it automatically installed and today, there are 3 more updates.  Each of these one at a time, I installed and it still works.  Internet connection is also good, I checked after each update also.  I have not changed a new wifi again.  All this was done at home.

Look well, it is a very frustrating problem and I almost all upset but I like the device so I gave him a good try to make it work.

  • LAN died after turning the Mode standby with Windows 7!

I have a motherboard Intel DX58SO with the last LAN driver v15.3.  After my computer goes to sleep and then he wakes up, back to the top of the LAN adapter is turned off and it won't work again until I restart my computer. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I was using Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit before with no problems. I did a fresh install of Win7 and not upgrade.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thank you for your help and your time!

Here is a copy of the email I got from the Intel Technical Support.  In fact, I solved the problem until I got the email. Decommissioning of the bios resolved the problem for me.

    Please contact Customer Support.

I understand the LAN adapter will extinguish after the system returns to "standby" mode on Windows 7 *.

In this case, we recommend test you the system with BIOS version 5200. Please perform a BIOS recovery to make the update. The file can be found at:http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18938&ProdId=3018&lang=eng

  • After the awakening of the mode standby, Thunderbird crashes if the start menu of windows 10 is open RESOLVED in version 38.3.0

If I have Thunderbird up and then I put windows in sleep mode, when I come back once again, the start menu in Windows 10 appears automatically (can someone tell me how to stop this?). If I click anywhere on the screen menu start disappears and everything works fine, but if I forget to do it and for example, double-click on an email to open it, Thunderbird and then freezes. If I close Thunderbird and re-open he, she, then it brings up the email that I had clicked on, so he must have tried to open it while it was frozen.
This isn't a big problem, just annoying bloom. Don't know if it's a problem of Windows 10 or Thunderbird. If someone can tell me how to stop start menu from popping up automatically, it wouldn't solve the problem, but it would be at least!

Version 38.3.0 is now available. Resolve the problem?

  • Desktop Compaq with Windows 7 no reconnect to the internet after the awakening of the mode standby

Info on the computer: Compaq SG3-150SC desktop computer, processor is AMD Athlon (TM) II x 2 215 with 2, is 7 MHz, bios American Megatrends Inc. 6.01, 23.4.2010 SMBIOS version 2.6, RAM is 4 GB total. OS is Windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium + service pack 2.

    ON THE PROBLEM

This problem has happened recently. Once I turn on my desktop mode computer "sleep", it cannot reconnect to the Internet and I use only cable internet which computer is connected via ethernet to the cable-internet-modem/router cable. The computer seems to be able to view all available networks, but she was never able to connect to the Internet (after waking up from sleep). At the same time that the computer seems to have slowed a lot, I have no idea why, but I guess he's trying to reconnect to the internet and this process of reconnection is devouring its resources.

I had other problems with this computer during this past year the half, but will not go into great detail with them now. These problems have been losing some dll. file that was ment to display the Win 7 great/normal devices connected to the computer, and a total system crashes / freezes after having updated graphics drivers AMD ATI Radeon 3000. However these problems seem to have disappeared after Windows 7 service pack 2 update. Also, I scanned the computer several times with a well-known and apreciated overall software security, no virus or other major security problems have been found.

The only problem that seems to have the computer right now is just this question, I am trying to solve.

Any suggestions to check and make what?

    Hello:

A few suggestions, you can try...

    1. install the latest driver W7 ethernet of the Realtek RTL8105E ethernet adapter to your PC.

Download, unzip and run the application configuration of the 2nd on the Web page below.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 14 & PFid = 7 & Level = 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

    2. go in Device Manager, expand network adapters device category.

Left click on the Realtek ethernet card.

Click the power management tab, and uncheck the box to allow windows to turn off this device to save power.
