Pavilion G4 IDT pilot Audio XP32
Driver XP32 needed for:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_111D & DEV_7605 & SUBSYS_103C1666
I tried 9 different SoftPAQs (intresting they always call em SoftPAQs, it's a return to the old days Compaq) all labelled "IDT High Definition Audio Codec". Unfortunately, they do not give a complete list of this that devices are supported and that I must download and check the DEV_ID and SUBSYS in INF files manually.
Apparently its IDT was acquired by semiconductor Tempo, and they do not serve pilots to the public. Anyone know of a way to search for the driver of HP by DEV_ID database? Or can someone point me to the correct driver?
TIA.
EDIT:
New driver versions are STWRT. (CAT, sys, inf) - I think that these Win7 32/64 and following. I think that I need the old STHDA. (CAT, sys, inf) drivers for XP32 compliance.
TLDR;
Success!
Use the Realtek drivers (I used v2.74):
I tried to work with the drivers released by other sellers (Lenovo, Dell, Gateway, Conexant, ASUS, etc) with INFs which seems to confirm my hardware ID and editing of the INFs drivers similar to the same 92HD7x - series 92HD8x. almost 12hrs and 1 GB worth of sound drivers later, it became clear to me that the vendor released drivers can supports custom audio extensions or have some sort of lock commands. SN because I kept getting ERR10 'Device was able to start' or ERR31 'a device attached to the system does not work.
Undaunted by my growing frustration, I pulled information disable the audio chip and started Googling. Surprisingly - although in retrospect I shouldn't been probably - its actually a very common IC manufactured by Realtek, which is twisted and renamed by a host of other vendors, IDT, being one of them. Unlike HP or IDT, Realtek is used legacy drivers to the public, of course with all vendor-specific extensions disabled.
I downloaded and installed the drivers - no INF or MS - UAA tweaking necessary - and it works correctly. See below for a list of the hardware ID (we hope) supported:

Update of the screen HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15
Hi all, I have a Hp Pavilion Sleekbook 15 b-045el
This device has a TN BrightView 1366 x 768 screen, I wanted to know if its possible to improve it by using for example:
15.6 touchscreen "1366 x 768 of the Touchsmart from Hp Pavilion Sleekbook 15
The connector is compatible? I will earn touch capabilities?
Or for example a 1600 x 900 15.6 "display from another HP laptop? (I know FullHD needs pins too so that it will not work)
Thanks in advance for the help
Hi 89luca89,
Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b045el and replacing your BrightView screen. Here is a link to manual page 27 The only part of HP is 35.6 cm (15.6-inch), HD, WLED, SVA BrightView display panel 701688-001, so I have to say, it won't work. If it has third party screens, you will need to check that online.
Thank you.

HP Pavilion 2320tx g6: IDT HD Audio CODEC for HP Pavilion 2320tx g6
Hello! I used the IDT Audio CODEC for Windows 7/8 for a while, but a few days ago I accidentally uninstalled the Audio driver. I searched the internet for the suitable driver for my laptop, but the audio driver listed here package seems to be broken. After downloading the package and extraction, she seems to contain the Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver (must be contained in a sp61713) instead of the Driver Audio IDT. I can't find the original content of sp61716and so impossible to install the correct driver IDT. Anyway, the size of the file of the current binary file listed is 5.77 MB, too small for the IDT audio driver in my opinion.
I looked almost everywhere and downloaded dozens of pilots under 'IDT HD Audio 6.10.6417.0 A', but none of the .exe, I tried it, works.
I'll be happy if someone can link me the content of sp61716 (no, the ftp://15.193.112.22/ftp1/pub/softpaq/sp61501-62000/sp61716.exe package contains the Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver after extraction), or correct the original in the Support page link, so I can return my headphones to life.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I tried system restore already, but it did not work. He showed that the restore was successful, but the pilot has the same default Microsoft, which does not help my helmet. At this point, I guess reinstall the appropriate driver is the only option I can think.
EDIT2: It is certainly not the problem of my helmet; they work very well on other devices. In addition, previously I had downloaded and installed the driver from the HP itself support page, and the old version of sp61716 was indeed the (good) driver to work.
Hi there @Potla
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff.I appreciate that you try to reinstall the audio drivers. I'm happy to help you.
A method, you can try is to recover the pilot of the original image. See the following for how to do this:

HP Pavilion m6 1090 - is: Beats Audio does not work (HP Pavilion m6 1090 - is)
I misplaced the driver CD that came with my laptop, but I did not know until I had to do a fresh install of the operating system.
I went for him still hoping I want to download the drivers on the internet and will not be a problem.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-The fundamental question is, HP did not provide drivers for Beats (IDT Audio Codec) Audio in the Windows 7 section.
-The one provided under the article Windows 8 is 6.10.6433.0.
I downloaded this and installed. It works fine until I have perform a normal shutdown of the system, every time I turn on my PC and actually reach the desktop, the system stops producing sounds later. I can hear his good Windows startup (that is before you get to the login screen) but no sound after I actually connect
To resolve this problem, I always uninstall everything related to the IDT Audio Codec and then sounds back but the subwoofer of beats beneath my laptop works. The sound is quite low without the subwoofer, so I really need to install the drivers.
I downloaded like 10 different drivers from the internet, tried all alone, but to meet the problem accurate even every time.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The exact model of the laptop is, laptop HP Pavilion m6 1090 - is.
Please help me if possible.
Kind regards
Hannan.You are the very welcome.
Here's what I recommend...
Reinstall W7.
And then install SP1 of the standalone download if your original installation of W7 does not include sp1.
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=5842
Install these drivers in that order, then restart the PC after each driver is installed.
1 chipset installation utility.
2. AMD graphics card driver (this also installs the Intel HD graphics card, so it's the only one you must install).
3 IDT Audio driver that I posted.
4 Ethernet.
Then, you can install the rest of the drivers in any order you want.
I'm skeptical that the switchable graphics has your laptop works on W10.
Some drivers W8 will work on W8.1, but some may not.
In any case, first see if your laptop works OK even once with a new install of W7 SP1 and the correct drivers.
If so, you can experiment with W8 and more recent here.

The PC HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15: Blurred and static Audio after update of Windows 10
I was using Windows 10 quite a few months now with no problems. My sound has been clear until this morning when my computer automatically updated itself. After the update, I noticed that my sound (which worked perfectly fine before the update) was blurred and subdued, with a noise static when the music I listened to hit a higher mark. This had not happened before. Not until I've updated. So far, I checked to see if I need to update something new for my audio device in Device Manager, but I was told that everything is up to date.
Previously, a few years ago I had a similar problem when updating from Windows 8, but rather my audio is completely out. Waiting to see if something like that happen again. I'm not sure what to do on my audio now, but I'm afraid to uninstall my sound card where I can bring him back despite says he's coming back. In addition, I don't know what to do for my specific product. I've read that many others have had similar problems, so if someone could help me I would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance.

The second is the HDMI audio device that needs a driver.
The graphic driver install the HDMI audio driver.
Your model has the graphics nvidia/Intel switchable.
To install the graphics on your model, you must:
1. install the Intel chipset installation and restart utility.
File name: sp64988.exe
2. install the Intel HD graphics driver and restart.
File name: sp64989.exe
3. install the Nvidia HD graphic driver and restart.
File name: sp66512.exe
I think that the Intel HD graphics driver will install the HDMI audio device driver you are missing.

Pavilion G6-2237: Windows 10 Audio does not
Good,
First of all. I am a tech at the heart and tried several ways to get this working.
It is my mother-in-law's laptop. She has a HP Pavilion G6-2237, they improved to Windows 10 about a week and a half. The device driver that it shows for Audio in Device Manager is "IDT High Definition Audio Codec". The laptop itself has an Intel Core i3 - 3110M clocked at 2.4 GHz and it's a 64 bit OS.
I tried to reset the camera itself, on the Device Manager uninstall and then reinstall the driver through the Device Manager and when I do, it comes up with the message depending on whether I screenshotted using my cell:
Now, I know it worked before installation Windows 10. Here, any help would be appreciated.
darthBane
Please install first the frames
Control Panel > turn Windows feature on net. 3.5 a 4.6
reset
Uninstall the old drivers IDT
reset
install the new driver Audio IDT high definition (HD)

Pavilion Sleekbook 15 will display the menu boot usb. Restarts continuously.
Hello
I have a HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 (model: 15-b022es) in which I am tryig to install Linux.
Since the day that I bought it, I was unable to boot anything directly via USB. I searched a lot on this subject, and the usual causes are order secure boot devices to boot, or Legacy Support options. This certainly isn't the case, since I tried all possible combinations. In fact, the exact symptoms that presents my laptop are not described anywhere I've found. What is:
If I insert a USB drive into any port of the laptop, it makes the computer completely unable to boot. It is not that it freezes, it restarts again and again, but never goes beyond a black screen and make a few sounds HDD (usual start of sounds, nothing weird). In this State, with again inserted USB, I can access the configuration of the BIOS by pressing F10, but can't access devices (usually available at F9) Start menu, because pressing F9 just causes a new reboot.
In the past I've accessed the start menu do not insert any USB and then pressing F9 then I walked into the USB port, entered and left some folder random to force a refresh of the display (and therefore show the USB) and finally selected my USB. It's a bit hacky and I can cease to apply this solution, as my HARD drive is now cleared and there is no file I can enter to refresh the screen and display the USB.
Now the thing is: I can not install any operating system to my laptop if I can't boot from USB, so how can I do? For now, all I get are continuous resets the machine before you get to the boot menu.
And what is the cause of all these resets? Maybe if I go out, I can imagine a way around this problem.
Thanks for the quick reply, but this isn't the problem, I had already tried.
I can handle the start menu until I do not start the computer with a USB stick inserted. If I insert one, it will prevent F9 to enter the boot menu, causing the machine to restart again indefinitely.
However, after having tried everything I could think of (even different file formats in diferent USB drives and for different configurations of BIOS), I went paranoid and I tried with every USB that I have at home.
I was able to start successfully with a Toshiba 8 GB fat32-formatted USB key (I tried with other pendrives fat32).
So, finally, it seems to me that it is a bug in my computer EFI firmware. In the first place, the incomplatibility seems to be a bad transposition a standard on the side of various manufacturers of USB key or on the side of HP. But in any case, continuous restarts instead of an information on the error message (as happens for some other errors) seems to be a bug to me behavior.
