• Can I detect a change of name of plot event in a legend of the plot?

  I want to update a configuration file, if a user changes the name of a conspiracy in the plot legend.

  Events, I see plots are: value change, the change of range autoscale, plot attribute change and change of range of scale.

  Change of attribute plot doesn't seem to understand anything like on behalf of the parcel, and others obviously do not contain this info either.

  Is it possible to recover this event?

  First of all, remember that there is no simple way to encode anything, so I can offer a possible solution for you, but it certainly isn't the only one.

  LabVIEW has no property to check if the name has been changed through a structure of the event, but you can create your own LabVIEW can read events. I found this really good which may help you. Read this and mess around with it and see if it gets you anywhere: Creation of user events

  Once you get to trigger the appropriate, then its just get this deal to update the file you want.

  Another possible workaround solution that isn't ideal, is to create a chain control and who have to be on top of the name of the parcel. You would be able to produce then an event in this chain, change the value.

• Graphical evolution Plot legend

  I have no problem to change a legend of normal graphics plot with a property node, but I try to show three different sets of data on a graph.  I tried to do a reference of the parcel with the legend of the plot and using the text of the legend.  They should be definable when the VI is running, but the way that I tried to do, I had a reference error (1055 invalid reference).  Defining the Plot legend or legend text would be acceptable if I could just understand.

  I try to view 32 spectra, but only use 8 graphics and the name of this particular channel change.  This without a the name of the channel FFT gets presented in the graph, but when I use the power of the spectrum VI I don't have the info from spectrum plugged into anything.  So, I'm bringing my original table of channel name more and try to iterate to take the reference name and the correct pitch channel.

  I only extracted the part of my code for this issue, so I hope it's easy to watch what I'm doing.

  The first VI and Subvi are functional.  The second Subvi is where I was trying to change the text of the legend.  I tried other things too, but I just wanted to show a way I was trying to do.

  I do not have the OAS add on so I can not check your main program. I looked at your sub vi and you do more code that you need. Take a look at my example, I put your 8 graphics in a cluster then used a table of references and tables for your index of chanel. Maybe this can give you some ideas for your program.

• Graph plot legend colors Signal not updated when mixed with the property node

  We try to put the colors of the trace of a graph of Mixed Signal using a property node. Although we can change the color of the data in the field correctly, the colours of the plot in the legend do not change until some apparently unrelated operator action is performed (for example, to resize the window or by double-clicking a field name).  Waveform to XY charts don't seem to have this problem.

  Anyone know a work around?  I think I saw a similar topic on the forums earlier, but I'm sorry that I am unable to find it now

• Legend of the plot does not update?

  My legend of conspiracy will not show the new names I'm wiring. It displays the default plot 0, track 1, and so on, rather than the column headers it is supposed to read the data file.

  Any ideas? See the attached VI and the associated text file that I am trying to trace.

  In the example you have validated, your table for the colors of the plot is empty if the because the loop will not run.

• Rotate the Plot chart legend of XY

  Is it possible to rotate the legend of the plot for the plot names letters run from the bottom to the top rather than in the whole of the operator interface?

  The names of my plots are bigger and I need to show at least four plots at the same time. Put the scales to the right/left/above or below without rotating can cause a short XY Chart!

  Any ideas for me?

  I don't know if there is a native way to do it, but you can 'cheat' to do this:

  

  You can move the table where the captions are, or even make the table turn into lines instead of the column.

  Is the idea ok for you?

• How to remove a parcel and resize the legend of the plot in LV 8.6 as in this link to an example 7.0 LV

  This VI (ftp://ftp.ni.com/pub/devzone/epd/201150.vi) works exactly as I want to apply for a 8.6 at-, but the property node used in the example is no longer supported.

  I can add/remove sites and resize the legend of the plot with 8.6 using the 'LegNumRows' property, but this property does not behave in the same way.

  It seems like it should be simple, but I must be missing something.

  Thank you to confirm that this property does not work in the same way as in the example when it is used with a XY graph clusters and no dynamic data.

  I left the property node in the structure of the case (just as it was in the original example) while not to jam too when you went to compare two examples - my application does not for the reasons you stated.

  I will implement a legend Manager to ensure the follow-up of the plots in the legend.

The problem is that the user can also enter text (running) in the same area. Is there a way to prevent the user to text entry in the legend tracing running text box?   Try to put a picture control on the top of the chart legend and when the user tries to click on the name of plot, it avoids text entry

  You may also toggle the visible property of the image control to allow text in admin mode

• Text in the text captions in the process of disappearing in Captivate 6

  Hi, we have a problem of corruption. We use Captivate 6.0.1.240. The text in the slide captions disappear when we open the file. And it is only the text itself, the text box is visible. When you look at the film, the text is there, and if we select a legend on the blade and move it, the text appears again. However, if we do this, save and close the file, the text will disappear from the slide again once the file open.

  These files as summer created in CS5, we later moved to CS5.5, then knit using 6. My colleague and I are working equally between 32 and 64 bit.

  If someone has had this problem before or someone knows a solution for this problem? This is getting very frustrating because all our files have been to corrupt as apparent that without reason. Thank you.

• The button should disappear permanently

  I would appreciate your help with the following question:

  I am preparing a training, which will be placed in our enterprise LMS. In this training, I placed a button on a blade non-quiz, that must be clicked in order to complete the training as it is one of the necessary "quiz points" for the success of the training (so this button a quiz properties, although it is not a slide of questionnaire). After which is clicked, this button should disappear and the caption that appears as a result should remain permanently on the slide. This button is not a quiz question in itself, but rather a confirmation of completion and agree (which is important for the purposes of declaration).

  The problem is that this isn't a slide of questionnaire, this information remains constantly on the slide if the user leaves the slide when navigating through the training, or if it is closed and reopened. Quiz slides, however, continue to show the submitted responses and legends - and that's what I would get on my blade.

  Is it possible to have the button permanently disappear once, and the legend stay permanently, so that the user (when browsing through training, or when the re-opening of the training) can no longer make changes to the slide and immediately see the legend, which States that the button has already been clicked?

• When composing an email and by selecting "BOLD" police, why the FAT aspect disappears so later at the end of a sentence.

  This aspect has been a problem forever, and it's frustrating. Before I start typing a sentence, I select "BOLD" and the font size. Lets say that I go back to the middle of the sentence to make a correction, then place the cursor at the end of the sentence or select the end key to continue typing, the aspect "BOLD" disappeared.

  And it's frustrating that support Thunderbird does not take possession to allow direct communication with them rather going in this direction. They will not be disturbed. I'm about to kick on the road and go with a different email provider.

  Probably because when you go at the end of the sentence, your insertion point (read: slider) is outside the HTML tag that defines the area in bold text formatting. How would be able to tell if you want to stay in the "BOLD" area, or go outside it Thunderbird?

  My approach with this is to place the cursor inside the part already "BOLD" and type, fix if necessary existing text, or move to a html source viewer item to be more precise about the location of the cursor. I see no easy way for the system to tell us if the cursor is in the box "BOLD" or not. Ideally, there could be an indicator in time real tell us what the formatting is at the location of the cursor, but consider how many combinations of fonts, color, size, weight, style etc it could be that should be answered to be really useful.

  I have all the same trouble in Word and free Office; It is intrinsic to the use of the supplement, isn't strange, IMHO, to Thunderbird.
