  This problem is apparently related to Java and some security settings.  First of all, make sure that you have the latest version of Java installed.  Then, go to tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab, click on Manage Add-ons search the Java and make sure it is all turned on, and then scroll down further to see if there is an entry named "SSVHelperclass" of Sunmicrosystems, Inc. and Sun Java console, by the Sunmicrosytems.  Allow each of them, and then restart Internet

  The other thing you can do is to add pogo.com to trusted sites in IE, tools, Internet Options Security tab.

• Problem with pogo games being to small to see since I have windows 7.

  I just got a new pc with windows 7. The problem I have, is the pogo games and yahoo are medium to small to see.   I have reinstalled java at least 5 times, I have reset the browser, I used the No. add version, and did all the maintenance.  Nothing changed still the same.  Please help I enjoy my games, but cannot see them play now that I have windows 7.

  See if the configuration of security settings Internet Explorer to allow windows initiated by scripts without size or position constraints helps you in this case.

  1. open Internet Explorer.
  2. click on tools.
  3. click on Internet Options.
  4. click on security.
  5. click on custom level.
  6. scroll down until you find this setting:

  Allow windows initiated by scripts without size or position constraints.

  7. click on activate.
  8. click OK to exit the settings of security and then click OK to close Internet Options.
  9. restart your computer.

• Why some Pogo games load and some used to Pogo games?

  A new HP 64 bit and windows 7.  It took google chrome because that kept getting errors in Java with IE.  Not all the Pogo games are Java.  Can enter some Pogo

• How is it that Pogo games load fine with an older version of Java (the ones they say I should disable) but does not load with the latest Java?

  Pogo works fine on older versions of Java, but the games not load not on the latest version. I did all the usual things, cleared the cache of the browser and Java cache, uninstalled Java then reinstalled it, done in so that was allowed, blah, blah, blah... I did have problems with the latest version of Firefox.

  Yes, this version is is more updated and can contain security risks, then it will be probably best to disable java plugins in firefox > addons > plugins when you do not use the on game sites in order to stay safe on other sites. This is why I have also suggested to contact the pogo site to update their content so that it can be reused with the java plugin updated.

• In 4.1, how can I get rid of the status bar (left or right at the bottom corners)?... It is very annoying in some pogo games I play.

  The status bar is displayed in the lower corner of the page, covering current info at the bottom of my pogo game page. If I move the cursor over it, it goes to the other bottom corner... very annoying to have it pop up like that.

  I recently bought a new computer. Windows 7 is the OS that comes with it. I used to have Windows XP. I am a subscriber of POGO. Before when I played on POGO game filled my Java window. Now no matter what I try (i.e. ALL) my 'game' window is half the size of the Java window and is pushed into the left upper corner of the Java window. Leaving a space of 3 inches on the bottom and the right side of the Java window. I don't see the game or chat with using the "magnifying glass". Please if someone knows how to solve this problem I could Cook whatever they want! Thank you for the help... moving a frustrated addicted POGO player...
