  I bought my laptop a few weeks ago, tried Vista on it for about 2 weeks but decided to change the operating system to my old XP because I did not like that Vista has taken to much power. (Like playing a game from time to time)

  Anyway, the installation went well and I checked the installation instructions on the home page of Toshibas and installed everything that was needed. I also installed the audio driver.

  After the restart there is no sound so I started, I was wondering what could be wrong. Called support and he told me to install 'Virtual Sound. The problem when I install was that I get an error message telling me that my computer do not support virtual sound.

  So my question is: is this the problem? Not getting is not the virtual sound installed or should it works even without virtual sound? It gets boring without sound and I want it to work. Anyone got any ideas what to do?

  In my opinion it of not good. You n t need to install this utility.

  I checked the Toshiba page and choose your notebook series PSAAB. I found a lot of XP drivers!
  There are also 2 different audio drivers; 5.10.0.5200 Realtek and Realtek 5.10.0.5253.
  Check both!

  I see that the reference page offers different upgrades of MS QFEs. You must install all!
  Sometimes these update of MS are important and necessary to solve some problems.

  PS; Please install all the drivers in the order mentioned in the Installation Instructions

  It s is not possible to replace the single keyboard of course, you can remove the keys, but this will not help you if the button just does not work.

• Toshiba Audio/concentrateur USB does not work on Equium A100

  I bought a Toshiba Audio/USB hub in March but only tried to install it today. Nervously, I followed the instructions. My Equium A100-related bits.

  The screen says "new hardware found". The Installation Wizard appeared, I clicked on cancel according to the instructions and inserted the installation disk. This produces a message to the effect that "met a hardware problem and the unit will not operate properly. The hub is now in its box.

  You can try to download the LATEST drivers for this hub, because between March and are NOW many months and many updates have been released.

  I downloaded the audio driver as advised, but he said 'your computer doesn´t support virtual sound '.
  I bought my computer in Spain and changed to XP Professional to get the English language (and I like more Pro).

  To my knowledge, install drivers in the correct order, if you install the operating system manually.

  XP Home and XP Pro uses the same drivers there is no problem of driver compatibility. I think you should follow the installation guide that you can find on the page of the driver and then install all the drivers as described in the document.

  I put t know why you are not able to use your Windows media player, but if this software has worked yesterday so why you n t use the system restore option and turn the BONE to this system start?

  I have a little problem with my media center. It used to work fine, but recently, I decided to wipe the hard drive.

  I found some useful tips and advice in this forum and it seems that you need to install the

  I recently bought a PSAAQE Equium A100-338. It came preloaded with Vista home premium. I removed what I need XP pro. I found all the drivers to get everything works except the shortcut keys. • Equium A100-338 display has stopped working

  I have exactly the same problem on my Equium A100-338 loaded with Vista.
  The display has stopped working (he went to a poorly lit black screen) after I had rebooted my machine even if the computer and the hard drive seems to work Ok with the lights on.   Whenever I have close World of Warcraft, something appears in the upper left corner (looks like it must be a window but only on bar showing) which reads "Toshiba Flash Card (not answer). What can I do to prevent this?

  a solution may be turning off the flash card service if Don t you need your USB.

  You can disable it by following these steps:

  -Go to start-> settings-> Control Panel-> administration-> Services tools

  -Make a right click on 'Smart Card' and left click on "Properties".

  -In the window who pop´s you must stop the service and disable it with the "Disabled" choice to the option "Startup Type".

  After that, your flash drive service is disabled and that you won´t get that annoying more errormessage.
