    I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Run the scan tool (SFC) System File Checker and check if it helps.

    This problem may occur if a system file is missing or damaged.

    Method 2:

    Try to clean boot, and then check to see if this helps you.

    Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    I am running Vista 32 bit Business since an administrator account.

    Recently, I noticed that the automatic updates did not install it and returned error 80070005.   After investigation, I found that I could not open mmc at all and always get the message "this function no is not supported on this system.  No major changes have been made to the configuration to trigger it and I can't watch the event log because it is in the MMC.
    I have studied this question in line and tool the following actions, which none worked:
    carried out a complete antivirus scan (I use Commodo internet security)
    created another account administrator
    has run SFC (no problem)
    has run the registry cleaner (no problem)
    has run msconfig.exe and disabled all the startup process
    updated windows right click and run as administrator
    Started in safe mode and tried all above
    After that, I don't know where to go... it doesn't seem to be a download for Windows vista to reinstall mmc.
    I have about 50 updates critical, sitting in my windows update that can not install because of this problem.  Can anyone help?

    Hello Helpmehelpme,

    First, I would check since it is professional Vista was that computer on a field of work or it was already on an area of work? There may be group policies that are in place that prevent to run MMC.

    When did start to happening? Is there anything new on the system which has been introduced into the environment (software, hardware)?

    When you ask a question you will need to provide some basic information

    Mac or Windows and EXACTLY what version of the operating system?

    Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause problems "weird."

    Using a full account of computer administrator with read/write permission?

  • The new update will not install.

    The new update will not install. (it is said there is a problem with a file called spill.aex)...

    I tried to delete after effects to reinstall, but who doesn't either so now I can't the legacy at all.

    THE FIXED!

    I changed the name of the card effects that included the broken file. (still cannot delete the file itself :/ but at least after effects works again!)

    I tried all the usual cancel, delete, turn off the PC, turn the printer off, turn them both off the coast of all etc.

    Do or not.  There is no test.

    These directions will not work with Windows XP, but it's the right idea.

    She also leaves a file .cmd lingering somewhere on your system.

    I propose the following technique that works for all versions of Windows and will not let any .cmd persistent or other files on your system:

    First to clear the print queue, you have to stop the print spooler service, and then remove all the jobs/print files pending.
        
    You cannot delete all print jobs in queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running, so you have to stop first.
            
    To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:
            
    services.msc
            
    Click OK to open the Services Applet.
            
    Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.
        
    The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).
        
    If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup Type" field to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

    Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service again...
        
    Next. remove all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send them to the printer again once things are cleaned in service yet.
        
    Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
        
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
            
    Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.
            
    Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).
        
    After the reboot, check again the spooler service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

    Submit new failure of print jobs.

    Running Win7 32 bit.  Have had the printer HP LaserJet 4050tn installed for 2 years.  It is on the network and is always accessible from other computers on the network successfully.  I was printing to it in a billing program web-based when my PC froze.   Rebooted and was no longer able to print to it.  Tried to delete the printer, the spooler of compensation / Max ', and re-installing the printer with drivers downloaded from HP (tried the standard and universal drivers).

    When I try to install the printer I get a message "Player of the printer was not installed.  Can't find a Package of basic driver required by the printer driver package"

    I have a Brother MFP 2820 it is USB and it works very well.

  • 5610 cannot clear the print queue, will not print

    Works very well, then work has been "caught" in the queue. I can't print and I can't delete the job.

    Windows troubleshooting tool said he found a print job in the queue that prevents other print jobs and that fixed the problem, but it has not fixed the problem. If I run againî, I get the same message. Diagnosis seems correct, but just what he thinks he's doing to solve the problem does not work.

    I tried the printer doctor, but even if she sees the printer it does not move to fashion, we're going to fix things.

    Manually, I went to "Cancel all Documets" but that the command was not enabled even if the printer displays the items in its queue.

    What I didn't know (and did not appear in the online resources I checked) that the document was in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS directory on ANOTHER computer - hosting the network printer.  Once I found that crime files it I deleted the manually and solved the problem.

    Hello, I bought this printer on 1 October and installed on my laptop Windows 10. My question is I noticed there was a series of printer e-all-in-one HP ENVY 4500 full feature software and drivers, version 32.3, filename: EN4500_198.exe which was released on November 12, 2015. Should I download and install this because I've had since October 2015 printer? If so do I have to do something after the installation to keep my printer working correctly on my WIFI wireless? Thanks in advance for any help that I couldn't find out how call HP to ask this question.

  • software for the printer driver does not install

    My printer is C7100 all-in-one.  My OS is windows 7 - message comes back "could not install any software.

    I recommend traverse "Programs and features" in your control panel and manual uninstall of the printer, then shut down and restart your computer. If the files do not uninstall, then you can have a deeper problem with your operating system.

    Once the software is missing, try again after the above link and by installing the full setting software.

  • My HP Photosmart C309g printer driver will not install on my laptop.

    I am running Windows 7 64 bit. When I try to install the driver for my printer C309g (pilot of the basic functionality or complete) installation hangs during the first phase. Actually, the installation closes and disappears without any error message or explanation. When I tried to use the installation of HP software, he kept just the driver download and try to install it again and again.

    During the first phases of installation, there are a screen that allows you to configure your Internet options, which allows you to choose if you want to find the driver updates before you install the driver or not. Select that you do not want to search for updates and installation will pass.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: Scanner will not install software stopped working/Easy Start

    Unable to scan to computer, but has worked in the past. Error message indicates that the software HP for the Scan of the computer could not be located.  Have been trying to install it, it seems to be downloading but then says that it cannot install because no internet connection.  The connection is fine, works for everything else, shows very well in the status reports.  Tried several times, restarted the computer, nothing seems to work.

    I'd be happy to help you to install the software for your more than 8600. Using Safari or another browser? It seems strange to me that you can download the software, but then can not install, the installation requires no software. However, the Easy Start probably reaches out using internet to locate appreciate software to install. That being said, I feel the question could be linked so browser that I wonder what browser you use and if you could try another.
