Shortly after I got it I deleted the recovery partition to make room for Linux installed next to Windows. I had problems with Windows system (mainly caused by me bad installation software and drivers without proper backups) so I decided to reinstall Windows. I had already deleted the recovery partition and wouldn't use it anyway because I prefer a clean system without unwanted from the manufacturer in this regard. I did not receive a Windows operating system installation DVD with my computer, so I downloaded a (64-bit Windows 7 Professional, the same as the original operating system) which already had SP1 on it (the version of Win7Pro installed Dell's not SP1). I installed Windows on this drive and attempted to activate using the product key that came with my computer, but it would not accept the key. I don't have time to try to solve this problem, but now the period of one month is up and my computer does not work correctly.
  I suspect that the problem may be due to me using the SP1 disc. If this is the case, should I reinstall Windows again? I have * NOT * GOING to buy another product key when I have already paid for a genuine version of Windows. I just want to be able to use my computer without the ridiculous slowdowns caused by pre-installed software and the way I chose.
