  • Ie or firefox work on my laptop, all say that the proxy server can not connect. is this a virus?

My network is fine and the rest of the functions of my laptop works fine, but the internet providers say that the proxy server can not connect. To my knowledge, the proxy servers are used to bypass the blocked Web sites, and I don't use them, although I don't know if this has nothing to do with the problem here.

  • Install Adobe Application Manager: "the remote server does not appropriately."

I am running Windows 7 and have signed today for the trial of the creative cloud.  I am trying to download my first application (InDesign).  When you try to install Adobe Application Manager I download a 1866 KB file, then when I try to run it I get this error message (again and again, throughout the day): "the remote server does not properly.  Please try after a few minutes. »

When the Active Server is shut down normally, the passive server does not start the service.

    Is this normal?

He starts the services on the passive server because the correct judgment still leaves the server active as being the "main".

Stop all services of it properly. And after it comes back online replication starts as before, so that no service must be started on both servers. (in this case that you will have questions)

  • With the help of my signature via a proxy server does not terminate but not from RIM

I now use the signature Server successfully to sign sensitive data on the device

    associated with our application.

However, when trying to sign full RIM signatures through a proxy server, and my

Server deals in reality as well and even send emails of success, but the signing tool

does not receive a final acknowledgement that he search and eventually times out.

I noticed for RIM signatures that we are hitting servlets, while the default configuration value for our

    signature server is used.

Is there something we need to do for our server works correctly when it is connected through the proxy?

NOTE: everything works fine when the server is on the same network as the GIS tool.

    Thank you

    Mark

It turns out that it's the server signature RIM as I expected.  It does not return the appropriate response headers.

The server does only return HTTP/1.1 200 OKCRLF and then the payload.  We discovered

If we put an Apache proxy before the server signature and after our proxy

that it will accommodate the non-standard answer and mark the headers with a stored block transfer

coding and then all is good.

So the reason why the public signature RIM servers work through the proxy must be either because the bug

This server is fixed or a proxy because Apache-like sitting in front of the signature server.

I hope that this will save others some grief in the future.

  • The DNS server does not - wired - wireless is OK

    Hi all

This problem has left speechless several other computer scientists, I thought I'd try this forum before making a complete reinstallation.  Here's a challenge to test your intelligence.

    Here's the situation:

Dell laptop (11 months - still under warranty) with Wi - Fi and ability.  Originally supplied with Vista, but I installed Win7 in November.  I tried to do the clean installation method, but do not know if I managed to 'clean' approach because I thought that my data may be wiped.  He was not, he is still on the machine.  But W7 seems to work very well, I added Slowey some software.  I think I was able to communicate with a wired connection before on the machine, but now I can't be sure.  The machine communicates wireless without problem.  IE8 opens fine.  If I connect the wire and cut the antenna or boot to the wire with antenna, the machine starts and works well, but does not connect using IE8.  I get a message "the DNS server is not responding.

The machine can ping and ping just fine on the wire.  A chat session with Dell yesterday (Citrix I think) succeeded in transferring to wire wireless when I turned off the antenna.  In addition, the MS patch notification came through this morning, but I can't download the patches on the wire.

Here is what has been tried so far:

    1. Changed cables and ports in the router to check the status of these question: these are OK.
    2. PC directly connected to the router: same problem.
    3. Verified services running (Control Panel-Admin tools-Online Services online):
System event COM + (for WZC issues)
      Computer browser
      DHCP client
      DNS client
      Network connections
      Network location awareness
      Remote procedure call (RPC)
      Server
      TCP/IP Netbios support
Automatic configuration wireless (only XP wireless configurations)
Autoconfiguration WLAN (wireless Vista only configurations) service
      Workstation
    4. Verified IPv4 is defined in order to obtain the IP address automatically.
    5. Reset IE8.  No change.
    6. Turned off the Windows Firewall.
    7. Tried to access internet using Chrome.  No go.
    8. Wired NETWORK card uninstalled and reinstalled driver.  Downloaded last at Dell, they pushed also later.  No luck.
    9. Tried the Google Open DNS.  No difference.
    10. ipconfig/flushdns
    11. TCP/IP stack repair (run as Administrator: start, all Programs\Accessories and right click on command prompt, select "run as administrator" to open a command prompt.)
-Entries reset WINSOCK to default installation: netsh winsock reset catalog
-Reset the battery TCP/IP IPv4 default installation. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
-Reset the battery TCP/IP IPv6 default installation. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
    12. While in Safe Mode, disconnected wire: uninstalled the driver for the CARD.  Started full W7: installed the latest driver.
    13. In Safe Mode, the stack TCP/IP repair as described above.

All to nothing does not.  IE does not connect to the internet.  Chrome is not connecting to the internet.

You people have any ideas what the devil is wrong with this machine?  Can you offer any suggestions to try to get access wired for the functioning of the internet?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Stringout,

I said to reset the router because the router is the DNS server and assigns the IP address to all devices on the network. Now, since you get the error "DNS server is not responding. It may possible that this router is not able to assign the correct ip address to all computers.

You can also try to update the router with the latest firmware. Still, Microsoft!

  • drive obsolete error Firefox flash does not in internet explore

Firefox error drive flash as being obsolete. This does not happen on the internet explore. also when I have more drive that the error firefox does not remember returns the same error. "this record is vulnerable and must be updated. "
with a red circle and a bar.
also flash seems to crash frequently. tried to update flash player and firefox locked up and ran very slow. is there an alternative to the RAS player.

Firefox needs a different version of Flash to use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. For some reason, Adobe has created different versions for IE and Netscape browsers (what Firefox was initially based on) all the way back at the end of the 1990s. Then when Chrome came with its own plugin API, Adobe creates a 3rd version of Flash for Google.

You can download the latest version of Flash from this page:
    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

What is an alternative to Flash, Mozilla working on one that is the name of Shumway of code.

Unfortunately, it is far from being completed and at this stage is designed only for advanced users to 'play with' or test and provide feedback to the developers.

I worked hard on this for so long and McAfee still blocking access to the Internet if I update definitions so to restart so I removed a second time. I installed the program software Antivirus malware from Windows and the Windows Firewall, which turns on automatically when you remove McAfee.  Intel took a horrible investment decision buy McAfee.
