The Quiz, the Quiz on revision and the button "next".

Sought and did not quite find all solutions to a topical issue that I found just that... troubleshooting classes something not at all related.

In any case, here's what I have:

  • Quiz slides do not contain the button 'next' or 'back '.  Only the 'clear' and 'submit' buttons are activated
  • The quiz requires a minimum pass mark.  A failure, the "quiz of recovery" button, button "review quiz" and the button "continue" are displayed
  • By clicking on the 'resume quiz' button works as expected with zero problems
  • By clicking on the "review quiz" button works as expected with the learner to the first slide of quiz

Here's the question.  With the 'next' button disabled on the slide of questionnaire, the learner is not able to advance after the first slide of quiz, so to get stuck and have to go out the window.  Not sure if I'm missing something.  I did a lot of quizzes with a required pass mark and have not had this problem in the past.  Is it possible to have the 'next' button disabled on the slide of questionnaire but enabled for the revision of the quiz slide?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Go to the display of the slide master and find the master slide for each particular type of quiz slide.  Select the button Delete in the master slide and you should find that the toolbar alignment options become active, allowing you to bring to the top of the stacking order.

When you return to the display of the slide, normal, is the clear button now on top?

  • How can I disable the buttons next/previous slide show?

    Hi guys!

I tried to play with a slide show earlier and wanted to change the colour or the next/previous buttons to image placement. But every time that you click on that it passes to the next photo! Is there a way to disable the buttons temporarily? It also appears that the buttons should be the same color for each photo. Am I wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

You cannot disable the buttons next and previous, you can hide them via the options menu flying if you want (select the widget > click the blue circle with the white arrow at the top right of the widget).

However, even if the next/previous buttons will take you to another image, you can still change them, when they are selected, as the buttons remain same for all slides.

In addition, the buttons should be the same color for each photo.

    It will be useful,

  • Drag a break is not the button "next".  All other slides work well, what don't get me?

    Hello

I created training modules that require the learner to click next to advance to the next slide.  In a slide, there could be transitions within this topic, but I want the learner to have to click to the next major topic (slide).  It works fine for all other blades, except for the following...

I am betting that the solution to this will be obvious to at least one of you.  I hope that my screen will show what I'm not doing correctly.

For all other slides, I Action drag 'Continue' enter (to move the script) and 'Pause' to the output, to make the button NEXT to do the work.  Others seem to work well, but this one gives me problems.  Any thoughts?

    Adobe Screenshot Slide Advance.jpg

What version do you use? None of the buttons on this slide is a break this slide. Add action break leaving CP7 (and 6) is not the way to go: this action is executed when the playback head has left the last image, so pause will occur on the first frame of the next slide. I'm puzzled that you say that it works on some slides? Sure that you do not have a break on the next button, which is the normal way to pause a slide. Also, there is no reason to do this slide as long. You can interrupt this button for 1 sec, and reduce the duration of the slide at 7secs, throw all the useless frames only increase the size of the file.

  • RH9 WebHelp problem with the buttons next and previous topic

The previous topic and next topic buttons do not work as expected. By example, if I navigate to topics and click on the previous topic, I expect to see the most recent section I read (similar to the use of the back button in a browser to see the previous page). However, the previous button is not available or the user to a random topic and next topic never brings up the next topic.

I inherited this project, my first experience with RH9 and so am not sure something previous author included in the project to check the buttons appear or if these buttons are part of the interface default WebHelp. I looked in properties available to single Source for each output, but do not see any place to specify information on these buttons.

As you can see in the screenshot, is not on the sequences of travel (I saw that there are other questions about Next and Previous as sequences associated to browse).

Any help appreciated because this bug was found by QA and they would like to solve the problem in the next update...

    Hello

These buttons above the table of contents are buttons for the navigation sequence. And that might explain their behavior.

Do you mean any other key? Am I missing something?

  • Captivate 7 - hide / disable the button 'next' until the question is answered

We try to make mandatory to answer a question before moving on to the next slide.

Ideally, we want to hide / remove the following navigation button until the answer to the question.

    Any help would be appreciated

P.S. I have check the Adobe forums and he suggested to put the next button under the clear key - that works... but not if you go to the slide - you can then go forward

    Thank you very much

    Al

You found my suggestion to the next button, which is designed as a "Skip" button during Quiz, under the Clear button, which also has the advantage that it can be a confusion between the transmission and the next button indeed and it was certainly also mentioned that it is supposed to not allow movement back and hide the playback bar in this case.

    http://blog.lilybiri.com/question-question-slides-in-Captivate

The buttons on question slides cannot be controlled as the other buttons. They are integrated into the question slide. If you want total control, you must create question slides personalized (lots of work).

Another approach with the default question slides is to check the required "Answer All" option in Quiz preferences, settings. Or you can use submit all, allowing movement to the rear and a warning appears if all the questions are answered, but you alow to present even in this case.

And you could try, if you feel uncomfortable with stocks advanced, to create a conditional action on enter for each slide, which displays a form button that will be back next movement button...

  • Where can I find my favorites? I don't have the button next to the "home" button Is there anyway to add it?

Where can I find my favorites? There is no button next to the "home" button I like to look through a list of favorites to see what sites I visit occasionally and sites I visit often.

    Hi dianag,.

If you have the Firefox button, you can access your favorites by pressing Alt to temporarily activate the menu bar. You can also go to Firefox > Options and activate the menu bar full-time. You can also open your favorites using the hotkey Ctrl + B.

If you want to permanently add a bookmarks button to the toolbar, you should watch section of the Knowledge Base on the customization of the toolbar.

    Hope this helps!

  • Tries to install 6.1 PhotoFUNstudio hd lite but I can't see the buttons 'next' at the bottom - they are out of sight, so I can't complete installation.

I tried to change the screen to a lower resolution, but it does not help.  Any suggestions?

There are several choices at the bottom of the screen, so I can't say what I mean "enter" - sometimes it seems to be cancel.

What I ended up doing was hiding the taskbar, which allowed me to see just enough of the buttons so I could click and get this stupid software installed.

    Clues why this can happen?

  • Conditional action to display the button next main Menu after received the visit 4 slides

Is there a tip Action to display a next button on a slide after that 4 different slides have been opened?

    Hello

Why are you putting this issue separately, I thought it was related with the other thread? If you ask this question, it will be more difficult to answer and resolve only in combination with other advanced action who showed the images. Because the next button must be made visible on this same blade where you show the pictures, or is that not the case?

You must create a user variable, I'll label it v_counter. Whenever you show a picture, you must increment this variable (second statement after image) like this:

    Expression v_counter = v_counter + &

And then you add a fifth of the decision to your advanced conditional action, which checks the value of v_counter and show the button hidden in the following departure if the meter is at least 4:

If v_counter is greater than or equal to 4

    Then display the button

    Otherwise, continue

But if you want a literal answer to this question, it will be something different and more complicated. Because then I need to know if visited slides will be viewed entirely until the last image? If yes you can trigger a fast action by the event leaving. BTW, still do not know how you will trigger the action of tip of the other thread, by what event?

  • Yet CS4, how to set the button NEXT.

    Win7 Ultimate

    Yet CS4

    Gentlemen!

This could be a simple question for most of you, but for some reason I couldn't understand, where them link the button WITHIN a pre-defined Menu.

I have one of the menus selected from a pre-defined list and each scene and a menu chronology or let me explain exactly what I did!

    I created a new project

I imported 4 videos as my property

I created a timeline by video

The presets menu had 4 scenes

so I've linked each scene a timline.

I found pretty much everything, but

where can I assign to the button CONTINUE for you?

Its been a menu with 4 buttons, each button plays a song

BTW, I look in the forums but found nothing reagarding this.

    Thank you.

    Hi Kishoreda,

Basically, if there is any next on the menu button, it is used to access the submenu following in order or the next page of the menu (if the menu is a menu multipage)... Similarly, the back button works.

But it comes to the design of your drive, you can bind anything except menu button.

If you do not want to use this button, then you can simply delete it.

If you still not clear, please let me know what you want to do as part of navigation in your project.

    Thank you

    Ramesh Kumar.

  • Problem with the button 'next' sideshow & amp; Links

    Hello

I am trying to create a slide show that has a 'next' and 'previous' button that allows you to see the next or previous movieclip when you click one of the buttons, and each movieclip contains a link to a Web site. Please see an example of what I've done so far - http://abwebsitedesign.co.uk/flashtest/

The code I used for the links doesn't work, when you click a clip he only takes you the first url (which is the "Greenfield" in this case, but when you're on the image of "Millstock" do not you on 'Millstock' site, still need you to "Greenfield" one). Also, when getting to the last image, then click on 'previous', the 'next' button should appear, but is not, it shows that when you click on the "back" button 2 times. Please let me know if anyone can help with this! Attached, is what my code looks like.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

I think that your table indexing and counting is a bit off. If you change your managers of button for the code below, you should see your URL works correctly and your next and previous buttons works as it should.

  • Make the button "Next" inactive

    Hello
I produced a Bank of questions of multiple choice of 20 questions with a correct percentage of the Total at the end. The user no longer has a chance to answer the question, and he told them that if they are right or not, and then they click on the next button to proceed to the next question. The next button is active all the time, and users are missing issues if they cannot respond by clicking on this, and so the rating comes out wrong at the end I tried, ' skin when it's inactive "and using points, hot hot objects but to no avail. I need the 'next' button to be "inactive" before answering the question and become 'active' once we respond. There are some calculations/scripts that I can use? Please help I'm getting nowhere fast! Thank you, Nina

Attach a calculation to your next button that says NextOn: = false.
Add a calculation in each response that says NextOn: = true
In the properties of the next button, set the property if Active NextOn.

  • How can I see the arrow button that showed the recent history of a same tab (next to the buttons next and previous)?

for example, if I searched word on google, then clicked on a page of results, then inside this page, I entered a link, etc if I wanted to 'go back' directly to the instance of google search I could click on the arrow button and I would be able to choose this exact moment instead of click the 'back' several times until I reached the desired past page

The arrow to open the history tab of the previous buttons and following was removed in Firefox 4 and later versions.

Use one of the following methods to open the tab history list:

    • Right-click on the back or next button
    • Press and hold the left button of the mouse on the active back or forward button until the list opens

    You can watch this extension:

The 31.2.0 of Thunderbird version, I downloaded for my new computer Windows 8 doesn't have a 'next' button I do not always choose to delete all messages, but I don't want to pass to the following. The latest version of Thunderbird on Windows 7 was a simple button to click to get the next, and I want this convenience again.

Click with the right button on the e-mail toolbar and select Customize. Add other buttons you like from there. You must have customized you latest version from the following is not a default button on the e-mail toolbar.
