The remote device or resource does not accept the connection
I have a desktop computer Windows 7 connected to my router via an ethernet cable, but when I try to go to a website on Google Chrome as Google.ca, loading the page forever without even showing the page. Finally after a long wait, it finally says that the Web page is not available. I tried to go to the Web sites by using Internet Explorer, but occurs the same result. I tried to troubleshoot the problem and it "the remote device or resource does not accept the connection" is detected, but does not set automatically. I have a wireless printer connected to my router which is online and works very well. I can even connect to my router page. But still no access to Web pages don't like my outlook.com and etc. Sometimes a go open the network and sharing Center to change the settings of the card and disable the wired ethernet only to activate it again. It works only a few times, and it's really frustrating, because it is the only computer that does not connect to the internet, even with a ethernet cable. Please find a solution as soon as possible. Thank you.

Note: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.

My computer is a Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. The problem occurred about 2 months ago, while he was still in Vista, but please note that I've upgraded to Windows 7 last night and the problem is always the same.My Internet Explorer, updates to the computer, iTunes and everything, EXCEPT my AOL, does not work. My connection says 'excellent '. (Hang everything on my laptop to my wireless are works fine, that my office is having this problem)When I click on Internet Explorer, it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage", and when I click on "analyze the connection problem" said "problems discovered - the remote device or resource does not accept the connection detected.I talked to my internet provider Comcast all morning this problem: she said that his side internet connections work properly. She walked through me steps including reconnected the router cords, control the way in which the Internet is put in place and other things, but everything was how it was supposed to be. She suggested that maybe AOL could be the problem and to remove it because I used it, so I did, but nothing has changed. So then she told me to contact Windows... (not sure how to call technical Windows supports without having to pay $59?, but found this forum)Is anyone familiar with this problem and could you please help or at least point me in the right direction? In addition, please let me know if you need any other information on the problem.Thank youLily

I tried access MMIC remotely via web browser, but get the error message "the connection was refused by the target device.
I was able to access a device similar to the same place but will not be for this particular device.
Another diagnosis with internet explore came with reason "the remote device or resource does not accept the connection.
Any idea please?
Is the host this time online? Are you able to ping the server MMIC? If you are able to ping the server of CIMC, but unable to connect via SSH or the graphical user interface you can hit the following bug;

Method 1:Step 1:Run the network troubleshooter and see if that diagnoses the problem.Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7

Disable the anti-virus software
Note: make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall after the test programs.
Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.Display the results.
I have a computer that cannot connect to the internet. It is connected to a LAN line through a switch that has another computer on it. The other computer works fine. The computer in question says it is connected but when I try to open IE I get the unable to load the page. Outlook also connects and the computer does not connect to our domain controller. When I run the windows diognostic, I get the error "the remote device or resource accepts the connection detected. I was looking on the forums and tried everything I found. I have reset the settings of Internet Explorer and unchecked the proxy server box. I tried to replace the switch and the CAT5, even if the other computer on the switch works fine, so it isn't a problem with the hardware. I'm out of ideas.
The computer is running windows 7 and IE 9.

I had this problem for months at this point. The common way with that I solve is to restore to a previous point. Once restored, but I can't stop or restart the PC without the same problem occurs. For this reason I only turn sleep mode and then the connection is working. But by mistake an update made me restart automatically and now I'm back to the previous question. I downloaded and saved a substantial amount of data from my last restore, so I was wondering if there is a practical solution to this problem?
Original title: perfect connection, but can not use the web or programs that require connections
Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.
Who are you referring when you say, "web or programs that require connections"?
It seems that your antivirus software is blocking the connection internet or computer is infected with a malware or a virus.
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
Run the network troubleshooter
Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7
If this does not help, then use method 2.
You can disable your antivirus and check if it helps.
Disable the anti-virus software
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
If the problem persists, use method 3.
I also suggest you use Microsoft security to check the virus or malware scanner.
Refer to this article:
Microsoft safety scanner
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.
Hello! I'm hoping to get clarification on the issue, I'll have.
So, I restored my Toshiba PC to its factory for another question settings, I tried to solve. Now when I connect to my network (which is fully functional on other computers, you mind) it says it is connected, but every time I try to go to a browser through the wireless, it says "this page cannot be displayed", the URL has no importance. I searched for hours all the different suggestions and none of them does not seem to work. When I plug the Ethernet cable, it does not work.
Can someone help me?

We have EMP 220.127.116.11 and EAS worked very well. We applied successfully patches of SAE 13904635 and 13904640.
However, after you apply the patch, we received the error
Error: 0: the database does not accept a connection
For example, when connect us to EAS and click the EssbaseCluster1 under "Essbase Server" node we don't get something, like the list of application as such. We just get the error log.
What could be the problem, is there anything, we had to do after you apply the hotfix?
The essbase server seems to be running so we can pull the reports in the workspace and all.
Thanks for all the answers.
Have a read of the following Oracle Support doc - "impossible to add or connect to an Essbase server in Essbase Administration Services (EAS):" error: 0 in Essbase Administration Services: the database does not accept a connection "or" "error: 105: Login with token at MaxlJni" "(Doc ID 1469492.1).
See you soon
I have Windows 7 can download 360 total security and I did the scan and clean almost everything in the program and then you open the browser, but it does not connect to Internet and it gave me the same message, the remote or resources want except except the connection so I tried all the solutions, but it seemed that my problem is a little different from all the solutions on the Internet and someone says had an idea about my problem please come out and help me.
Have you tried to remove total security 360?
I used the same settings that I use on XP no problem but it get the message "configuration could not be verified - is the name of user or wrong password? Is this a problem with Windows 10?
Thank you. I have added the account that uses the user and the password with which I access my webmail on Virgin.
I have manually inserted the imap Protocol. and smtp. before the names of the servers that I thought already happened automatically.
Problem seems to be resolved.

Original title: Troubleshooting my my wireless conecction and it say the remote device or resource does not accept the connection
Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community. This problem can occur because of incorrect settings of Internet Explorer. Initially, make sure you have Internet Explorer as web browser by default on the computer, refer to this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-default-programs#1TC=windows-7
Research I found that this problem can be solved by resetting the Internet Explorer settings. Try the following steps:
Press the logo Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type inetcpl.cpl in the Run dialog box, press enter.
Now click on the Advanced tab , and then click reset.
Click apply , then ok.
Note: Resetting Internet Explorer settings is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings are lost and cannot be recovered.

Since then reinstall it W7 Pro, I'm now no longer able to map a network drive on a NAS on the network. The NAS device is visible to all other domestic uses (Sonos, Internet TV, etc) and can be accessed via the front view in a web browser without any problem. I can PING the device and don't get a response, so no problems with the device itself (which was untouched before, during or after re-setup of W7).
Just cannot map a network drive!
Tried to disable the firewall etc, but still no luck. Also checked that all relevant services are running.
Someone has ideas that more I can do to get my laptop to talk to it as a network drive?
When I enter the ip address of the NAS and click 'Finish' to the card, I get the following dialogue:
The remote device or resource does not accept the connection
The device or resource to 192.168.x.xxx is not configured to accept connections on port 'file sharing and printers (SMB).
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 does not accept the connection for my site, but Xp will be, what is different about 7?
· Could you please tell us what is the remote device you are trying to access?
· What version of Windows 7 is installed on your computer?
· You try to connect to a remote device with Internet Explorer?
· What happens when you try to connect to the remote device, you get errors?
You can check if you have the same behavior in mode no. Add-on.
1. click on tools on the toolbar Internet Explorer and then click on Manage Add-ons.
2. click the name of the add-on at the top of the list of the toolbars and Extensions, and then click on disable.
3. click on close and then test Internet Explorer.
4. If the problem persists, open Manage Add-ons, enable the add-on that you disabled in step 2 and repeat the steps 1 to 3 for the next add-on in the list toolbars and Extensions.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until the problem is resolved or until all modules have been tested.
