  I have a wise distribution of the price when price report area > some user defined value. I've implemented which user promt help to filter option. In my report, there are 4 reports say Report1, Report2, report3 and rapport4 displayed at the same time. Report2 needs this value set by the user for the price to charge. But in my case, before loading the full report, it is asking for this value of price. I want to put the user defined ask prices in the associated report.is is possible? Please suggest.

  You can do this by doing two things:

  1. open report you in edit mode, select the display 'A' (if this is the first view, it will be selected by default), click on the link "Modify report properties" on the left, this will open the settings window and guests. Click on the command prompt, and then click on edit. Click Next, Next and proceed to the third stage where are the values of guests. Click on any value, and then click default (to make this value as a default)-an arrow will start pointing your default value. You can also select "All" and make it your default. Finish it.

  2. click on change display and then to the data screen, go to "Surface invite" tab and choose for your prompt display option in the title of "view".

  Save and open the report. Now, it asks you to enter a value any before loading one of the views. The default 'All' (or the default value you set) will be used to load A view and by the drop-down list of values, you can change to filter the data from this point of view.

  I'm working on the relationship between 10g and 11g migration and I have a problem with the reports that contains a chart. They give the following error when I run them against the report of 11g Server (they work very well against the server 10g with on all issues)

  REP-56048: engine rwEng-1 crushed., job Id: 24.
  
  I searched on Google for a solution to fix them, the closer, I found was install Oracle Graphics 6i engine in a House separate from the Oracle, but this has been said for 9i and 10g, you can find that in the oracle document below:

  Hello Sona,
  Unfortunately installation chart 6i to one OH for 11g will not work. This option is possible as long as 10g as a temporary option during migration to the BI beans new chart features in gr 10, 2 and 11 g.

  Oracle9i Release 1 go, graphical reports from Oracle was desupported. Reports of Oracle9i and Oracle10g use BI beans to generate graphs. Because of the underlying technology, there is no way to direct migration of Oracle Graphics to the bean BI graphing functionality. Therefore, the user will need to rewrite all their new graphics with the graphic Wizard in Report Builder.

  As stated in the declaration of the Oracle reports, Oracle Graphics is no longer ships with Oracle Reports. • CSQ Call Distribution summary report customized with 5s and 20 s model for UCCX 10.6 required

  Dear all,

  We have UCCX with recently upgraded to 10.6 HA. After upgrade, we are not able to generate the CSQ Call Distribution report for every 5/20 sec.

  We contacted TAC and found we need to have autonomous cuic but we donot have in our environment. There is demand for improvement already triggered with Cisco for this defect, Cisco still to develop fixed a bug for this version.

  Ask you to provide me with this model of the said report to import into our UCCX of 10.6 to generate reports required by our care.

  Had the same problem after upgrade of 8.5 to 10.5 UCCX. I was able to modify an existing report to get 5 seconds interval.

  I exported the existing report. Imported in CUIC stand-alone server, query list value with interval of 5 seconds:

  select 5 as ID,'5' as value from table(set {1})

  Also changed the column names in the report. With 5 seconds interval, we have 4 great call distribution intervals: 0-5 sec, 0 to 10 sec, 0-15, 0-20 sec. Unfortunately, when I downloaded my report to the initial report UCCX CUIC was broken (I think because of the internal report id duplication), but the new report works very well. • How to view the report on one Clob column online?

  In a set of columns in the report created with the wizard to create a Page, a Clob column is made that resembles a dozen lines high. The other elements are the high standard of a line. How can I load Apex to restore the Clob, the same height as the other columns (on one line)? Left like that, I'll only be able to see 2 or 3 lines at once, even if there is very little data in Clob columns.
  
  I would have attached a screenshot, but I do not see this feature on the forum site.
  
  BTW, I guess this is a common newbie question. I don't see an answer in the Forum or in the documentation. Your response is appreciated.

  I changed a value of list of choices for installation of product field sale step by a single word to keep the original "Bought" in the lookup Id and the value of the select list was amended to replace purchased with "quotes".
  
  When I run a report the scene of product sales, the field in the report appears with the original 'bought', even if on the page of the product revenue in the field "City".
  
  Can someone tell to overcome this so that the report also displays this field with the city in the text, according to the recording?

  I think that statement uses the ID so you can disable it and create a new value or write a CASE statement WHEN:

  Erwin,

  APEX does not limit the size of the headers of column (at least not at only 32 characters). AFAIK a limitation exists only if you use a Type of "Column names" or "column names (InitCap)." Then you click on the limitation of the Oracle DB as an identifier of Oracle, for example name or alias of the column referenced in your SQL query, may not exceed 30 characters long. To work around use a Type of "Custom" or "PL/SQL". "PL/SQL", you can dynamically set the report headings with a function that returns the headers as a string of delimited colon. You call the function like this:

• Measurement of resistivity with MyDAQ on TEC ca

  I would like to ask for advice: we would like to measure resisitivity Peltier-elements. If we use the DC method, due to the cell voltage-Seebeck effect, we don't get the value of the true resistivity. The common method to use the measure of ca in the case of these devices. I would like to know if it is possible to use a device of MyDAQ for this task? As a first approach do us not need more precision, it would be more as a test of 'broken-element' (there is usually a significant change in the nominal AC resistivity value indicated by the manufacturer).

  What would be the best way to make a simple measurement? What if I use an analog output of the MyDAQ lets say at 1 kHz, and I drive the Peltier element with this AC voltage source? I connect a resistance in the series, and I measure the AC voltage on that drop. After the results, I could calculate the current and the resistance of the AC of the Peltier element? Of course, I choose a resistance so the MyDAQ can drive the network.

  What is your opinion, where to start?

  Sounds like a good chance to learn more about these devices. In these conditions, I would do the same thing: try with what you have.

  A quick glance at the plug MyDAQ it is clear that the current of the AO is limited to 2 my. I probably set the zone of OCCUPATION for about 2 V and use 1000 ohms in series with the Peltier device. That will keep the current in the 2 limit my. Two lines of AI to measure the tension on fixed resistance and the Peltier device.  Then, you can calculate the unknown resistance.

  If you were doing a production test or did the measure with a DC bias, I advise to use a transformer to couple the AC component in the CC line. This becomes a little more complicated to implement, but has much to versatility.

  Please post after you have tried and let me know what you found.

• I just installed Firefox 6, and the report does more - the same problem you had with Firefox 5. What is going on?

  You prompted me to install Firefox 6 tonight, because it addresses serious security/stability problems, but when I did this, the report icon has disappeared from the address bar. Reinstall the latest version of the report was corrected not it.
  It's the same thing with Firefox 5 a few months ago, and it has taken report per week to develop a new compatible version.
  Why this happened again? You not check this before launching new versions? Or, why at all not least we warn in advance that some programs will not work for X days? I prefer to be without the latest Firefox for a week or two, and no report - not least because that my Bank, I have to use the report.

  Please advise as soon as POSSIBLE.

• Adding picture to excel is not saved with the report

  I'm trying to compile a report in excel using Labview, in which I have to insert an image of a certain size in a certain range of cells. Everything is good and correct picture adding to Excel in my development computer and fix to save the report. When I did an executable Labview working with Excel 2007, I noticed the picture is added to the model then I save report and close. When I open the generated report photo cells were empty and a reference to the image is instead.

  It seems to me that the report could not save the inserted picture.

  I would like to mention that the image is added to an excel template that is not any control of image, but is added using the box in excel tools.

  Is a way to set a property in excel 2007 to save the image with the report that I do not know?

• Problem with the report and the system of axis 2d

  Hi, I'm trying to write a script with tiara, who wrote a 2d axis system in the report but I'm having a lot of problems with it.

  What I'm trying to do, is make 3 or more system axis 2d in the report, each displaying a part of the data of 2 channels (x = ch0, ch1 = y).

  With only 1 graphic I get what I want, but when I try to add the 2nd or the 3rd, they show without my defined x-scale and with the offset x different from the first chart.

  I tried everything, but I could not remedy

  I added as attachments the .csv file that I use to ch0 and ch1 and 2 screen shoots "what I get" (about the problem with the script) and "what I hope to get" (done manually, is what I'm trying to get the report)

  Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance

  Here is an edited version of your code that works on my computer.  A problem that I know that I fixed it was that your presentation of the STATE was in the name-oriented mode but you use the variables based on the number to assign it X and Y channels.  The execution of these commands in a loop FOR makes it much easier to debug the code and to avoid any annoyance at first.

  I hacked my version of the Toolbox to give me maunal indicator control "model? He had obtained his permenatly self stuck on "T". I exposed this flag outside the API, so I can control under certain weather conditions I may or may not use the model police.

• The use of attenuators with myDAQ

  So I try to use an Attenuator (from mini-circuits, BNC 50 ohm) output on the myDAQ for tensions in the microvolt range.  However, rather than mitigate it, the signal of clips instead. I tried a unity gain buffer, but the signal still clips. I used just an Agilent FG and the Oscilloscope, and it worked then.

  Anyone know how I can fix this problem so that I can use these attenuators on the myDAQ?

  Hello Mochipoo,

  There are some limitations that you should consider before trying to drive this attenuator. A 50 Ohm 3dB Attenuator is designed to divide the amplitude of the voltage from a source of 50 ohms to 70.7%. It is basically a load of about 150 Ohms resistance.

  -Your benchtop FGEN has an output impedance of 50 ohms, but the myDAQ AO is a much lower impedance (about 1 Ohm in DC). The voltage divider, you would get a lot less attenuation (150 ohms / [1 Ohm + 150 Ohm] ~ = 99%.)

  -10V in this attenuator driving requires a lot of current (10V / 200 Ohms = 50 mA, in the case of the bench; 10V / my 150 Ohms = 67 in the case of AO myDAQ).

  -AO myDAQ lines have current limits to protect against overheating and prevent violate the USB power specification. The limit is approximately 2.4 mA, so if you try to drive a 150 ohm load with her, you'll shake very low (approximately 0.3 V - 0.4 V).

  -As you describe, you can buffer the AO myDAQ with an external amplifier line, but if you use the myDAQ +/-15V rails, you should be aware of their current limits (once again, included to avoid thermal damage or technical violation USB). Our specifications operational is +/-16 my symmetrically on +/-15V or 32 my on one of the rails. They work above that, but they have current limiters which will be deliver around 60-75 my. I suspect that's why you see your clip of signals in the buffer. In addition, several amplifiers have current limits internal between 20-50 my if they may not be able to drive much output in any case that.

  If you just try to take small steps to exit, I recommend you build your own divider of resistance with impedance that will not engage the limiters of AO myDAQ (such as the total of 10 kOhm load). You can do the mitigation of the factor what you want with the ratio. If the output impedance that results is too high for what you're driving, you may refresh the split signal. Since you are not driving a heavy load, you won't have the problems of limitation of power.

  In addition, be aware that there are two beaches of operation for the AO myDAQ: ± 10 v and ± 2V. They are the two 16-bit resolution, so you can get 5 x more small steps only by using the range 2V.
