  Not all laptops have this feature available in the BIOS. The notebooks have done. Switchable graphics stand is for the user to control the selection of the GPU by using the Catalyst Control Center options.

  You can actually turn off the graphics card Intel HD by removing the switch automatically the boat and selecting your GPU Radeon HD. Once you have done this, the high-performance GPU will remain selected until you change the settings in Configure with the option switchable graphics.

When I Press esc, nothing happens. There are two single beeps, one about 30 seconds after you turn on the computer and another minute later, followed by the screen goes black with a underscore on it.

  VGcrazee, welcome to the forum.

  I think that your new video card is not compatible with the motherboard BIOS.  960 GTX requires UEFI in the motherboard rather than a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  I suggest that you check the BIOS version and contact Technical Support PNY for help.  They are the experts on their products.  It is very difficult to know which video cards more recent will work with older computers.

  Please read some information on the page of Intel on the Intel HD graphics chip.
  The chip is called HD because it is able to process HD video which means it should eb strong enough to work with the blu - ray!

  So in your case I wouldn't be afraid. The graphics chip is OK for video content high definition!

• Black screen after the addition of graphics card to H530

  I am installing an EVGA Geoforce GTX 560 Ti in a H530. I have updated to 600w POWER supply and tried to set the parameters of the BIOS to the appropriate values. The BIOS settings are: display = AUTO, Secure Boot = Disabled, CSM = on, the Boot Mode = Auto (also tried Legacy), Boot Priority = first Legacy, Video Display = Auto (also tried PEG).   OK, it's pretty embarrassing that I almost didn't write back. The monitor I was using has entered both VGA and DVI. Apparently, it is default to VGA and I found a source selector to choose digital & now everything is cool.
  Why I decided to write back, also the closure of this point, is to note that higher speed graphics cards can be supported by the H530. I installed an EVGA GTX560 Ti, which is not the fastest of the world map, but it looks like that he compared with the list of maps in the maintenance manual which IMO aren't enough of an improvement to bother with. Anyway, maybe the Bios settings, I've used will help someone else.

  If possible, connect the external monitor and press Fn + F5 to check if something would be visible on 2nd screen.
  If photos on 2nd screen would be visible, then the GPU is OK and only your internal display is faulty.

  The cooling fan is controlled by the fan table in the BIOS. Fan table contains information about the temperature and the fan speed that means the depands on some level temperature fan speed.
  Over all the possible game features as the CPU, GPU, produce heat and the heat dissipation is high
  Cooling modules would begin to turn faster if the temperature level would be exceeded
  This is nothing exceptional everything at stake

  I read on a similar question, and apparently, the graphics card DRIVER crashed during games
  Maybe it's a compatibility problem between game and pilot
  In most cases the graphics card driver update should fix this and I read on some forums that it has helped in many cases

  I have a laptop Inspiron 1525 with Vista premium without SP1.  I downloaded an update for the integrated graphics card which is obviously false to my system I have now a screen that is locked with red tie Tyrolean type can go up and down.  I can't enter the mode without failure or bios.  I can't read the dvd recovery because the screen is completely inaccessible!  Display on the Dell recommended for an integrated graphics Intel Update site is incorrect download.  I can't tell you who it is that I can't access.  I hope someone can help!

• VRAM can be improved in the Mac Mini graphics card?

  My goal is to run the FCP and the movement on an older mac mini.   End 2012, Mac Mini, but the only missing area is the amount of VRAM associated with the graphics card.  For example; Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 1536 MB shared VRAM, Motion 5.2 specifications is VRAM 256, I upgrade the VRAM?  I can update the entire graphics card, or would one of these more trouble than what it's worth?

  Here are the full specifications of the Mac Mini I am considering buying used.

  2.3 GHz Intel QUAD 'Core i7' processor with boost speeds up to 3.3 GHz

  8 GB of 1600 memory DDR3 SDRAM MHz (PC3-12800), easily expandable to 16 GB

  The only thing out of the plug of movement is the VRAM.
