The size of the IE screen

I like the IE screen set at 140%.  Is it possible to put by default, as opposed to opening still at 100%?

Hi Joeclark,

Internet Explorer Zoom lets you enlarge or reduce the view of a Web page. Unlike changing font size, zoom enlarges or reduces everything on the page, including text and images. You can zoom from 10% to 1000%.

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking on the Start button and then about Internet Explorer.
  2. Bottom right of the Internet Explorer screen, click the arrow next to the Change Zoom level button.
  3. To access a predefined zoom level, click the percentage of enlargement or reduction you want.
    -or-
To specify a custom level, click custom. In the zoom percentage box, type a zoom value, and then click OK.

You can also try the step below.

1. open internet Explorer

2. press Alt + v > Zoom

3. click on Customize

  • How can I reduce the size of Firefox on my HP laptop. I don't want the ful screen.

At the start of Firefox covers the full screen. I manually adjust, but on the next time he does the same thing. I use a HP Pavilion dv1000, of indeterminate age. Any suggestions?

Firefox has a mode full-screen, where the menu and toolbars are hidden and a maximized mode where you get all the bars, but the window is not resizable.

Normally, Firefox will remember the last window size and reuse that. However, sometimes the file that stores this information (along with your toolbar layout customizations) is damaged. The usual solution is to rename the file and customize it from scratch.

Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using

Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename localstore.rdf to something like localstore.old

When you restart Firefox, it should be the default toolbar layout and sizing of the window.

Note: If you have a program named Advanced SystemCare, his surfing Protection device may override your changes of settings between sessions. You may need to disable this feature.

  • Get the usable screen size

It is difficult to find and is OS specific.  But what I try to do is to get the size of the entire usable on all monitors.  By that I mean space would occupy a window, if it were made full-screen, but without having to do full screen.

I have a user interface works this will popup a small window under the mouse if you perform an action, to view more information about what wriggle you on.  I want this window centered under the coordates of the mouse, but I want it fits the current screen, and I have not any visible window.

So if my mouse is in the upper left corner of my screen, I want my window appear in the upper left corner, but have it all visible.  If my mouse is just above the taskbar, I want the entire window appears above the taskbar, but always under the mouse.  What I'm trying to avoid is poping up a window which is cut by clipping off the monitor, or under the taskbar.

Display > property all monitors to get the boundaries of all monitors, but it's the resolution of the screen and doesn't take into account a taskbar which is likely on the bottom of the window, but potentially could be anywhere or could even be hidden.

Any ideas on that?  My partial solution only I have not tried, but assume would work, is to make the hidden window, blow it up, get the bounds of the window, then it unmaximize.  Is there a feature that miss me?  Thank you.

The use of knots of .NET:

    This first is System.Windows.Forms.Screen

On my system (1920 x 1080), this refers to 1920, 1040.  My taskbar is 40 pixels high.

Instead of choosing the 'PrimaryScreen", it has also a property"AllScreens', i.e. an array of screens. This will allow you to check each monitor on the PC.

    Hi supperman.

I have a problem with the screen capture. When I take a screenshot by pressing the print SCREEN key on my keyboard, I can't get a screen shot in small size, in a Word document.

someone knows the reason for this? How can I get a screenshot in a normal size. Thank you very much.

    Hi tony.wang,

If you copy the screenshot in a Word file, it will be the default page of the word file size. It will be in a smaller size to fit into the Word file.

However, if you want to open the full-size screen capture, you can use Microsoft Paint on Windows application.

  • Unexplained change in size of the Print Screen saved image

Is not a computer geek, I'm sometimes thrown when my laptop is suddenly something differently when I have not intentionally "asked".

The last thing that has happened is a real nuisance and I would be very grateful if a brilliant person could put me right.

I keep a daily record of the changes to the e-important information by using print screen and save it to a file. normally, this image is saved as a certain size (pixels x 768 1366 pixels) that fits with my view of deterioration. About two weeks ago the same procedure suddenly gave place to an image SMALLER, but with MORE (?) pixels (1366 x 918) without consciously doing me something different. Can someone tell me how to get back to where I was before? It does not help if I increase the Zoom level I print screen; This only translates a picture cutting the edges of what I want to see.

Hope I have explained this in an understandable way.

Alright.  Right after you click on paste, click on crop.  This will ensure the area of the image exactly matches copied dimensions and will be the size of the exact screen of 1366 x 768 pixels.

  • How do I change the Speedgrade screen size?

Can someone tell me how to change the size of the screen in Speedgrade? I can move the lower panel from top to bottom, but I can't understand how to do the program monitor either larger so I can actually see what I do to the image without making it full-screen.

    Screen Shot 2016-03-05 at 2.42.11 PM.png

Yes, you go the small signs and you can make it bigger or smaller. This is the problem, you are using this on a laptop? It is almost impossible to for use on a portable computer or it looks like the image you posted, when I use it on a laptop, I enter my settings on the retina of macbook screen and increase the resolution which makes it any smaller, but makes manageable Speedgrade. But even in this case, the page layout is horrible for a laptop or a low resolution monitor.

On my monitor Apple I plug my laptop too, it looks perfect, the video is big enough, while seeing the wheels of color etc. I also sometimes use a second display, you can have the video on the second screen and tools to the screen you want. I haven't used a second ordinary screen longer, I use an app that makes my iPad Pro in a second 13-inch retina display screen. So I can see the video by 13 inches, if necessary, and I do with my iPad Pro if I never had to change it on your laptop again for sure.

If you have only a laptop or low screen resolution, if you have a Tablet, even if is not 13 inches of fat, you can use the tablet to display the video. It will cost about $ 20 for the pair of the app. I keep pugged in via the iPad cable and there is no latency or delay time.

If you don't have an iPad, I think seriously about doing a 27 inch or larger screen, even if you don't have a desktop computer, you can plug the macbook inside. I do not own a desktop computer, it's just my laptop at home is always connected to a screen. You need not what anyone who has wanted to get fairly accurate colors. IPS 27 inch 2650 x 1440 will work.

If you have a Macbook, the retina, although it has higher than this monitor specifications, it double the pixels and makes it look like 1400 x 800 or something like that. For a workspace it takes more like 2560 x 1440, however on a laptop which might make things if small you cannot see them.

  • Seems to be a misinterpretation of the size of the file that is displayed in the bottom left of the main screen.

Seems to be a misinterpretation of the size of the file that is displayed in the bottom left of the main screen. I thought that he used to be Tablet/no compressed size. But I get a lot of analysis that are the limit of 2 GB for PSD and when I back up, after trying for a while, it says file exceeds the limit of 2 GB for the PSD. I try tiff and get the field exceeds the limit of 4 GB for TIFF. PSD, it will do but can not be read by Lightroom, so they won't be in my catalog. If these numbers at the bottom right are not properly which is the file size they are for?

The numbers on the bottom on the left represent just the size of the image that the file is open and not what it could be saved or compressed. You think if often is under the 2 GB limit, but it's really over. If she goes, save the file as a PSB.

  • Size of the window in the direction of the vertical screen - cannot extend

    Hello world

I would use my monitor in vertical orientation to maximize space when working with portraits. I am able to reverse orientation monitors very well with my video card software and have no problem of maximization of photoshop in the full vertical measurement of the monitor. However, even if photoshop completely fills the screen, I can't get the actual image window to fill the entire screen. The most I can get is complete filling in the horizontal and about 3/4ths of the vertical dimension dimension. If I try to extend the window vertically by dragging nothing happens. I know that the window is not locked, because I can move it and I can change the dimensions so it is less than the vertical ceiling. In essence, it seems that there is a LoadCluster of vertical size of the window I can not exceed

I have attached a picture of what I mean. The scope of the whole photoshop window is my monitor in vertical mode. The Red arrows represent the extent to which I would like to extend my image window in photoshop interface. However, I can't do that, because there seems to be a limit to the vertical dimension of the window. Yet once again, the dimensions of the window is not locked, since I can change it as long as the vertical size is below this limit.

Anyone know if there is a way around this problem and fill in the field with my image? Or is it just an unfortunate whim of photoshop CS4?

    Thanks for any help!

    Vertical Photoshop Window.jpg

I had the same problem.  I found that if I first closed Photoshop (I could leave open bridge), then turned my monitor and reopened Photoshop images could then be expanded to fill the screen.
