The Smartphones blackBerry speaker volume

Help, I have problems with my speaker volume when on the phone. I turned upward all the way, and I can barely hear the other person. The sound of the keyboard is normal when I push the buttons, but I can't hear the other person or voicemail via the speaker. The speakers work very well for the songs. Any thoughts?

Give a soft reset to your BlackBerry by removing the battery for 30 sec. If that does not solve the problem then consider a device software reinstall or upgradation.

  • Q10 Q10 No blackBerry speaker volume indicator?

Hi, I have recently updated form "BOLD" of the Q10.  One thing that was very shocking for me and cause me a lot of frustration, it's that there is no icon at the top of the screen where you can quickly check to see what is your ringtone setting to?  BlackBerry is often used for business and I'm constantly having to check several times a day by going to meetings etc that my ringtones and sounds are all "Silent" or "Cut".  My "BOLD" had the icon so I could quickly and easily look to check or for instant access to the volume.

When you click on the button "Mute" on the Q10 nothing DON'T get PAST?  There is no way of knowing whether or not your phone is actually cut?  When you use the volume control of the decrease, you can put it at the bottom but still is not actually tell you if things are "cut" or if all the sounds are "off"!

I never realized how much this feature meant to me until I got the Q10.  I need to find ot if there is a way to solve this problem?  Y at - it a soft?  I need to have a quick and easy to know my sounds are all off.  Help, please.

    None. No icon.

If you see NO icon, you are normal.

    Pretty easy.

  • Heating of the smartphone BlackBerry Curve blackBerry

I have a BlackBerry Curve 9320. I had problems with it recently. Always charge my phone when it is turned off. During the last 3 days, I noticed that it will heat when I'm asleep and use do not, and it only takes a few hours for the battery to be drained. I'm sure that no app runs in the background, no updates, I always perform a hard reset. Can you help me please? Thank you

    Hello tintintin23,

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or during loading or if the applications are running in the background. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

Also always try to properly close the Applications - avoid using the end key to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. Please take a look at these Article I hopeit will help you a lot to overcome your problems:

On your home screen to Options > device > advanced system settings > BlackBerry Smart Analyzer > run the test from the battery to find out about the issue.

Or on your home screen to go to Options > device > application management. Move your trackpad right or left it shows CPU Usuages, it will at least give you an idea what application is the use of your resources.

Check and see if any application is responsible for the problem.

Question of observation on our BlackBerry battery cover them charge, are lithium-ion battery it won't take too long to load, it can reach a full charge (100%) within 2 hours. If your camera takes too long while you have connected to a wall outlet has a good and constant power. Or you can visit your service provider to check if this is a hardware failure.

  • The Smartphones blackBerry email account configuration

Recently, I replaced my bold 9700.  I want to me re - login my gmail account and when I go to configuration > e-mail accounts and tap / click on email account, it does nothing. I've used this feature to add/modify items of electronic mail. This allows me to click on the account of the company, but when I click on email account, nothing happens.

Have rebooted device a couple of times and get the same problem. Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the community!

After the updates, or simply when things go crazy with e-mail, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you could try to go via your BB browser to this URL:

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones blackBerry "BOLD" Volume controls does not work

    Good day to all,

I've had my "BOLD" for about a month now. When I got there, I was able to adjust the handset volume during calls or when you listen to the music by pressing the buttons of the volume control on the right side of the phone. However, the buttons just stopped one day and I can't adjust the volume in all applications. At the present time, my hands-free game is stuck at half volume, my phone calls are at full volume and music is at 75% volume. Is there a setting that uses by default the volume for each application or my buttons volume likely to be spoiled.

Thank you for your time in reading this and hope someone can enlighten me on that.

    Hi jzachlee,

    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community.

If the press does reflect no change in the volume then it must be a hardware problem. As you mentioned that your unit is a month and you're still able to claim the guarantee. You would be better due to the device to change.

  • Satellite A-L50-1CU - no separate for the headset and speaker volume sliders

Why there is no possibility to control the volume of the headphones separately? I risk my ears (seriously) every time I use headphones, due to the low efficiency of the speakers...

    Any suggestion?

To be honest I do not understand your problem. You can control the volume level using the F9 and F10 keys or Windows volume mixer.

Reduce the volume level before you connect headphones and speakers and I hope that there will be no risk to your ears. ;)

  • Problems to recognize and sync with the smartphone Blackberry Q10 with PC

    Thanks in advance to all.

My BB Q10 was not reproduce my calendar and added duplicates to my contact list whenever I have synced.  So, I uninstalled their software thinking Backberry link I re-install and solve the problem.  Now my PC does not recognize the phone (I tried the 'activate fix mass storage) and BB tech support says that I need to install a "div" ("you must contact Windows to request assistance on their part on the .msi file that your computer needs.") in order to download and re - load in the BB Link software.
I know that the problem comes from my PC because I connected the phone to my wife and it was immediately recognized, and you are prompted to install the BlackBerry link.
I know I'm a fossil with Windows 7 and Blackberry, but any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Like so many people, I had a nightmare trying to connect my Q10 and before that a Z10 for LINK.  After reading a lot of posts become completely disillusioned, until I found a post on the opening of the control panel/Device Manager and see if BB Q10 was listed and had a yellow triangle next to it and then try to reinstall the drivers.

So I plugged my BB to the computer with a USB cable

Open panel / but Device Manager there is no device listed outside the "RIM Mass Storage Device."

    What made me think...

With the always-connected BB, on BB, I opened the settings / storage access and disabled USB mass storage.

On the control panel / Device Manager, immediately "RIM Mass Storage Device" icon in the taskbar, a window and disappeared popped up saying "search drivers."

This has changed then automatically to "Install drivers" and "Finish."

In Control Panel / Device Manager a new device popped up in the area of 'No' called 'peripheral network RIM.

Then I opened the link and it is immediately connected to my BB Q10...

Then I went there immediately disconnect and link back to the Q10 spilled the USB Mass Storage 'OFF '.

Certainly, there is a bug here...

I lost several hours tinkering with this whole process, and it's a nightmare of flashing.  While this may not work for everyone, I hope this works for some of you...

  • The Smartphone blackBerry Desktop Manager installation problems

OK, this may seem a stupid question, so please bear with me...

I have some trouble installing the Desktop Manager software, version 4.2, for my 8320.  I am running Windows Vista.  When I install the program, everything seems to be okay.  I get no error message or anything.  He goes through the whole installation process, and then says it installed successfully and I click on the button "Finish".

But after the installation, I can't find the program anywhere on my computer.  It does not appear in the framework programmes.  It does not appear in my C:\ drive under program files.  I tried to search my hard drive for "blackberry", "research in motion" 'desktop manager', 'RIM', etc. and he doesn't find anything.  But, when I go to "Programs and features" in my control panel, "Blackberry v4.2.2 for handheld wireless 8320" appears on the list of programs, and I only have the option of where to uninstall.  What is the problem?

I have internet and can not find an answer.  I tried the fix javascript.dll I found (which was for the error messages, I don't get), I tried to disable the user account control, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, the disc and the Web site.  All to nothing does not.

I'm going nuts... it's probably an extremely simple, obvious answer.  If someone could help, I would be VERY happy.

    Thank you!

Thanks, I knew it was something obvious!  When I went to this link before, I was using "Blackberry Curve 8320" in this list, which gave me the 4.2.2 version.  I never even checked this list for version 4.6, b/c I thought by selecting the 8320 would give me the most recent version of the software for my phone.  Don't think.

    Thanks for the help!

  • The Documentation of the Smartphones blackBerry on BBM seems to be corrupted

I was looking for a document/userguide on BBM in the manual section BlackBerry BlackBerry site and got an unreadable pdf. Is it me? What is the site?
    Please see:

How could I get a readable copy?

    Thank you

    Bernard Londeix

    Thanks for the comments.

I tried to view the manual of BBM on 2 computers equipped with Mozilla Firefox V 19.0.2, the file is not readable.

I tried the same thing on the Google Chrome browser and it is readable.

Mozilla Firefox v 19.0.2 I downloaded the file, and then felt that under Adobe nd it is readable.

Conclusion: With Mozilla Firefox V 19.0.2, do not see to read directly, just download then read under adobe.
