  You don't mean that the search option is missing from the start menu?

  If so, then the following steps may be useful.

  If not, then please provide us with more specific information on the issue. This could help us help you better.

  1 click-right on the taskbar > properties
  2. click on Start menu tab
  3. click on next to the start menu properties
  4. click on advanced
  5. scroll down until you find 'research' (down)
  6. make sure that it is checked.
  7. click on OK.

  Ritch257 what specific error that you receive when you try to install Creative Suite 5?

  You migrate/transfer applications or files from a previous computer?  If you need to download a new copy installation files, they are in CS5 download products.

  I just bought a Microsoft Surface Pro for Photoshop running on this subject.  I installed Photoshop and tried to make some sketches.  I created a new file and began sketching.  Immediately, I felt as if something was wrong.  I checked my brush settings and saw that the pressure sensitivity was not available.  Everytine I tried to put it on it was marked by an exclamation point.

  Does anyone know if Adobe supports new microsoft pressure sensitive pen, or if there is some sort of definition that I'm missing?  I tried sketchbook pro 2011, and that works surprisingly well with the pen.  I hope someone can help me along here, because if this tablet really can run photoshop, it would be a game changer.

  2 Surface Pro looks really promising as a system of support rather than a main workstation. It's a good solution to review shots on the plateau, but to make any serious changes or composition, you will need a more substantial machine. I can't even imagine the amount of time it would take to export a HD in Ae or Pr using this machine. You can probably use other tools of the CC quite comfortably well. Run Ps or AI to a portable, lightweight device like this sounds killer for me (if you invest in a mouse and a keyboard).

  I just got a new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet, so I can edit on the go more easily than with my old laptop. I use Audition CS5.5, because I am a podcaster and radio producer, and it works wonderfully for these tasks. Unfortunately, when I installed hearing on this new tablet, I discovered a major compatibility issue. All text and buttons display so small that the program is essentially unusable.

  

  I tried to play with the display settings on the Surface, but they seem to have no effect on hearing. Even when I get the settings "change the size of the text, apps and other elements ' maximum, it has no effect on how the hearing poster (even if she handicap other programs).

  Support should not consider the 4 Surface Pro tablet, from a support perspective, it's a PC.  I'm sorry to hear that you who were respected.

  Richard is correct, in CS5.5 we simply don't HiDPI screens on the piece of road, and you will probably find that's true with many Adobe applications since that time.

  In addition, as Richard has pointed out, in recent versions we did some work to support HiDPI screens as well as some of the capabilities of the touch Surface.  Here are two tweets I sent to a customer showing on my personal 3 Surface Pro:

  Had the same problem. I reviewed the Microsoft forum. We need to plug the power adapter into the dock Surface Pro 3 It will not work by the Surface Pro 3 battery alone. Solved my problem. It would be nice if I could use the dock as well mini display port and the port of the display at the same time surface. Did not work. If you have had the branch dock and still no problem, then MS noted for updating with the surface in the dock.
