  Back up all data before proceeding.

  Please triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select:

  defaults delete com.apple.dashboard layer-gadgets && killall Dock

  Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

  Launch the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

  ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  I played with capacity of Foglight to monitor for specific events in the Windows event logs.  I have it working (I think!), but face a slight problem.

  I copied the OOTB EventLog rule and renamed it as the name Windows event log.  The OOTB EventLog rule has been disabled and the rule of the name of the Windows event log is enabled and customized.  Fires the rule very well, but in the dashboard of the alarms, the origin is displayed as simply EventLog - whenever we copied and renamed the rules in the past, the origin is defined correctly for the name of the actual rule, that is the name of file system capacity.

  As you can see, in the dashboard of the rule management, alarms are all recorded against the OOTB EventLog rule disabled rather than the name Windows event log rule enabled.  Is it possible to change this original?  The reason why it is important, is that we have operators who monitor the dashboard of the alarms and they have a filter set to 'name' - in the State, they would not see this alarm and would not therefore not take appropriate action.

  Either incidentally, we also have LogFilter rule, which seems to be very similar to EventLog, and its origin is displayed correctly in the dashboard of the alarms.

  Ok. If it was a browser issue. Things were not visible correctly on Chrome (ver 37) and IE (version 11). I then tried on IE (version 9) and Firefox (ver 32) and it worked!

  I created a direct request from the database that accepts input from a prompt by a variable of presentation, either placed in request of db query. I realized in the process that I had to give a default input to the variable of the presentation of the petition. The input variables passed from the dashboard quick came in the right format, only if they are placed in quotation marks, Eg: "Input_Var".

  After all this, I came across a problem when multiple values are entered, the query is generated with an incorrect format. Here is the example:

  Insert text at the top of the dashboard or the article column and use the following syntax:

  I created a dashboard that I want to share, but I can't seem to get out of the "current state" with the icon of the hourglass beside him. I've never seen that happen before. I use a new instance of vROps 6.0.2. The dashboard was initially imported from another instance of vROPS and then completely rebuilt and saved. I rebooted the unit (1 independent instance) and it seems to always blocked. Any ideas on how to get out of this State stuck?

  I have a report that has a view of pivot, in which I want to display the average age (date-obtained variable presentation) for example. Average age of the 31.12.12.

  I used 'average Age of staff |  ' @{Reporting_Date} [dd.mm.yy] {31.12.12}' as the formula column and compound eyes, the report shows the desired result.

  But when the report is on the dashboard, it shows the average age to 31.00.12.

  Is this a bug or is there other settings I need to do? I use OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0.

  I'm renaming my files using the custom text sequence, custom # {0001} but the dashboard between the needs of two fields to be an underscore and not a dashboard. How can I do that.

  This is because I CHANGED EVERYTHING in the Editor dialog box in the box under SAMPLE by selecting using the drop down menus.

  CRMOD dashboard reports are not supported in IE9.
  Please, try to add the site CRMOD for IE9 compatibility view settings and see if it works.
  Here are the steps to add the CRMOD site to the compatibility view:

  1 open CRMOD URL on IE9
  2 Goto tools > compatibility view settings > click Add (to add the CRMOD site)
  3. click on close
  4 restart IE9 and try

  I use 'Link and Image' in the dashboard after loading the Word document in the directory of resources. The URL of the link looks to ' / analytics/res/Help_Tips_Basic.doc'.
  
  The disadvantage of this approach is that whenever changes to the document, the professional user should ask the system administrator to download the document on the Unix server.
  
  The ideal approach would be that the professional user can download the Word Document in the catalog. However I can't get the link right. I use OBIEE 11.1.1.5.

• Auto-refresh an analysis in the dashboard

  I use OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0. I have indicated in my dashboard analysis (I'm not showing the link refresh to this analysis in the dashboard). The database is loaded automatically every 5 minutes and BI server cache is disabled. Therefore, I have to automatically refresh the analysis (not the dashboard) every 5 minutes, so that the analysis can show the latest data.
  
  How can I call the link of the updating of the analysis (even if I'm not show in the dashboard) every 5 minutes? Is it possible to create a JavaScript script that call this link Refresh every 5 minutes? Or y at - it alternative to achieve this requirement?

• OBIEE 11 g: need to eliminate whitespace betweeen two reports on the dashboard

  I created Report1 and I2. The reports contain only one pivot view (there is no title to view). On the dashboard, report 2 just under 1 report so that there is no space between them as

  I put the report in a section on the dashboard, but still get some white space between the two. What I did is, in the pivot for the reports table properties, I put 0px for the top and bottom filling. That reduced the space a little bit, but I can still see a lot of white space
  
  Is it possible to completely eliminate the white space. Y at - it a java script that could be used if this is not possible in obiee? Please let me know.
