I managed to hide the toolbars, ALL of them. [Alt] brings to the top of the toolbar so that I can change them. In addition, the [previous page] [next page], [home] and [end] keys do not work.
You can have:
- Choose the Mode "full screen" or
- unchecked toolbars
The F11 key activates / turns off Mode full screen or not. Full screen, you have no toolbars, no tab and no bar Add on (bottom).
If unchecked you your toolbars (checked = displayed; UN - check = not displayed), and then do one of the following, then click on those you want to check/uncheck:
- Right-click in the empty space at the end of the tab bar
- Press the ALT key or the F10, the poster Menu bar, click View > toolbars
- Firefox button > Options
- Hold down the ALT key and type the letters of the keyboard V T

All searches from the toolbar causes all of the tabs to be highlighted in firefox 8
All searches from the toolbar (file; Edit; View; History; Bookmarks; Tools; Help) then scrolling down causes all tabs to highlighted. I did have this problem in version 3.6 since I upgraded to 7 and 8, that this problem continues to be a problem.
Have you seen that occur when you use the default theme of Firefox?
Also, you run Windows Blinds or any 3rd party to control Windows themes application? If so, disable this application and see if the problem goes away.

How do I add the button refresh (and others who no longer) to the toolbar
All of my favorite on the toolbar items disappeared... autofill, refresh, etc.
Firefox 4 and later versions use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar.
During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.
If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.
Click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.To move the buttons Stop and recharge in the position to the left of the address bar, you can use the following steps:
- Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize.
- If the menu bar is hidden on Windows or Linux use "Firefox > Options > toolbars."
- Drag the buttons Reload and stop at their previous position to the left of the address bar.
- Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
- Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise (space or separator) for two separate buttons.

Lost my icon to send new messages in mail (appears in the toolbar, but not active). Can not send a new message in the mailbox (impossible to select) drop. I tried to use the toolbar Customize to drag an icon to the toolbar, but it doesn't work anymore. Using Mail 9.2 and OS X 10.11.2. Any help is appreciated.
The Send button will not be activated unless the message can be sent. Are you sure that you have entered a recipient and the account is online?
The connection doctor (window menu) displays errors.

upgraded to 3.6, bookmarks, lost, lost the toolbar bookmarks, bookmarks library, lost cannot go to the previous backup, error message. Not have Torbutton. Cannot save new bookmarks. AutoFill remembers. Don't forget the story is about.
I got this yesterday after the 3.6.4 problem upgrade. I'm not sure if I saw all the things you did, but I have def lost all bookmarks and the back button. I fixed it by:
1. go to the Firefox profile directory, which for me is here but 1st bit will be different for you as mine work specific:C:\Documents and Settings\U049177\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\soez0lvk.default
2 delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite - journal3. start Firefox (you should have the back button now works but not Favorites, he recreated to these 2 files)
4. in the menu, bookmarks and then organize bookmarks, then button import and backup, then restore, then select a day to restore from. You should now have your backups Firefoxes bookmarks.
Hope this works for you

No longer have the bookmarks and the icon of history on the toolbar.
I have the latest Firefox 27.0.1 for Windows on a computer 64-bit of Windows 7 with all latest updates. All of a sudden I have no longer both bookmarks and history shortcut icons on the toolbar at the top of the page. When I customize they times see, but when I leave the only of them customize shows. In order to have the icon favorite, I have to remove the story and vice versa.
I would have tried it if it had not suddenly fixed itself, so I can test is whether it works. But I'll keep your response re. LocalStore.RDF for later reference. Thanks for your help!

Lost all data on the toolbar after download version 8.0 update the use of ALT is only a solution of brief seconds. Why download the firefox tab data show only a 3.8 version - which I deleted. I don't dare try to download another version 8.0 as a solution. I have a HP - XP media center 2005
