  Does someone understand why I got frustrated and confused about all the discussions of this video card?

  Some said that the FX3800 is a stabillity of card - more pro - etc better than the cheap cards - as the GTX 260/285/295 - and some told me that GTX 260 = FX3800. I read on other pages about how people have problems with their GTX 260, recognized as a FX 3800 (not in the body, but by the Nvidia software).   I would feel much more comfortable in having ordered the FX 3800 if someone from Adobe could me excactly how much better FX 3800 comes from the GTX 260 - outside to be supported and is not the GTX. And if there is more in it just to change a simple text file? Are there several things happening inside the body - deep inside - that is affecting the performance with FX cards in addition to two lines in a text file? Who can help to answer this question - and I mean, really, to respond in a serious way - not just say - of course the FX is better - because her expenssive more.

  Haven´t we all have experience in other situations? Like buying a car? FX. inside the SKODA FABIA is a VW engine like those used in the much more expensive VW cars. • Anyone with a GTX 260 HP graphics card

  My HP Elite 090a is not new and I just realized that the GTX 260 card is running under nVidia card Core @ 576 Mhz Shader 1242 Mhz @ and @ 999 Mhz memory.

  Mine are 518, 1080 & 1008, that I wonder if it is because HP had so many complaints of noise that they strangled the card.

  If you have this card of HP could you tell me your readings

  I would say that I have solved the problem! and for those who descend from the same track here is what I found.

  The card isn't nVidia has designed! the card goes down when not to complete task, if you use a single monitor, then it will tell about 300 Mhz (2D by default) when using a dual monitor default is the minimium 3D which is 518 Mhz.

  As the times mentioned previous, well I think that could have me mucking around with Rivatuner. the reality is that I played COD4 MW and Crysis Warhead maxed out entirely (1920 x 1080) and temperatures did not exceed 73, in fact the map has not sufficiently taxed from its default of 518 Mhz increases the speed of the fan to cool the card and it seems that my i7 CPU is a lot of work, but not enough to cause any concern.

  Should the fan on the GTX speed automatically set according to the time GPU (29 C @ idle), or what? However, it seems that it is RPM max all the time (1700rmp - utility Speedfan). Downloaded the latest NVIDIA drivers (314). It did not help. It seems that the support of doenst motherboard the possibility to adjust the fan speed, or cela it locked from Bios or something?

  Any Bios Update on the h8-1151eo to control the fan speed?

  And anyway, I found a rather small (119 x 94 x 51 fan / w mm) VGA cooler (A r c t I c C o o l e r) 660 GTX. Only problem is that the maximum for the cooler 120W power dissipation and energy max is around 130W GTX 660. Do you think it will be a problem? I would buy the model more large (up to 200W), but I don't know if it can be inserted inside the Tower (136 x 138 x fan / w 51 mm). Is there a list of VGA coolers that fit in the case of ATX Mid of the h8-1511eo, or can you recommend one?

  It is the VBios on the video card in GTX660 that control the speed of the fan according to temperature changes, rather than the motherboard BIOS the Office.

  Is your PC of office still under warranty?  For the HP product warranty status check the web page.

  Your GTX video card maybe having problems. I suggest that you contact HP Total care and explain the problem.

  If your office is no longer under warranty, I recommend to replace the video card. Remove the cooler on a video card is not as simple as it is to do the same thing with a motherboard CPU cooler. The video cooler on the video card GTX660 may have replaced thermal interface or the VBios updated material.

  Rumils, welcome to the forum.

  First of all, the link you provided does not work.

  Your computer has UEFI and the 960 GTX requires UEFI in the motherboard.  However, you will need a new power supply (PSU).  The current PSU is only 300W.  The GTX 960 requires a minimum of 400 w to work properly.  It may also be too long to fit in the space provided.  Although I have had members say he did not.

  To save you a lot of problems, I suggest you contact the Technical Support of the manufacturer to ensure it will work with your computer.

What I ve read this Board supports the sli or crossfire, but when I asked hp tech, it told me that it was not recommended that they suggested & I could only change to a video card higher performance and would have get better food (watt 460 oem).   Sorry... I was wrong.  There will be at least a 6 pin on OEM POWER supply connector. It would be probably easier if you open your PC case and take a look. There is no document, accessible to the public, I can find that show how many connectors 6 pins are on the block of power SUPPLY OEM.

  Today received the EVGA GTX 285 and installed without any problems. It fits without having to remove the cable plastic between the right edge of the motherboard and the drive cage. It does not cover the top of page two connectors SATA making it unusable with the connectors supplied with the d5000t. May be trying a right angle SATA connector if I need to use them in the future.

  I tried searching forums without any luck... it's probably the most convoluted forum I've ever visited... in any case I also searched google without really a bit of luck, so I thought that I post here...

  I'm on Windows 7 Pro X 64 with a GTX 260 video card and I was never able to get hardware acceleration with PS CS4. The option is not completely available and so far it has not really bothered me.

  I looked through two other posts on similar topics and found the Open GL Registry hacks. Installed, influence them and restarted without any.

  My card is listed as having been tested (it is the first in the list of Nvidia) http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405711.html and I went through all the steps listed here...

  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404898.html without a bit of luck.

  No idea what else could be causing the problem? I'm using the latest drivers from the Nvidia site.

  Just place an order for a R5 with an i7, GTX 1070 and a diet of 460W.

  D3Nv3R, welcome to the forum.

  Here is an Overview of the computer.  It shows the video cards supported by the motherboard.  It says nothing about the nVidia GTX cards.  They require the UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  I doubt that your motherboard has UEFI due to age.
