herbmah,
If you still experience this issue, then you should try the following.Update your drivers for your video and audio. Ensure that the manufacturer has Windows 7 drivers for your specific hardware. You may also look for both motherboard chipset drivers.
If you still have problems after updating all your drivers, then clean restart your PC and test.

Presario sr2030nx need drivers after the upgrade to windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
Presario sr2030nx had xp media center edition, I've updated to win 7ultimate 64 bit. my dvd player says he has a few drivers disabled
There was a pop up on all drivers must be signed, as an unknown device is lack of both pilots.
Please help me find a solution, thank you.
That particual error happens because of pilot missing generally regarded as 'Away Mode Driver'
Here's what I copied THIS post
Explanation I understand
AMD away mode is a measure of the implementation of some energy-saving AMD processors. It is a measure not very well known and the reason the PC is slowly put one out of State a device at the same time leaving a PC race that looks like it is off. Not a very good idea!
Drivers were provided by a card mother manufacturers were also built in Vista, they are not provided with Windows 7 x 64 and as I already mentioned Gigabyte.
No no not this driver does not affect the performance of the PC -

This problem started immediately after the upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) to Windows Vista Ultimate (32 bit). Again, I want to remind that I never had this problem before installing Windows 7.
-After a reboot, I am presented with the impossible to connect the network indicator (yellow triangle with!) in the task bar. (It was how I was welcomed after the installation of Windows 7 is said by the way).
-The only way I found to regain connectivity is to uninstall and reinstall the network via the device manager card, date at which the computer always successfully connects and remains connected until the next reboot.
Network card: Realtek RTL8168C (P) / 811C (P) Family PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)
Driver provider: Microsoft
Driver date: 14/05/2009
Driver version: 7.2.1127.2008
Digital signer: Microsoft WindowsThus, we have solved the problem! There are two possibilities of your problems:
1 company Adobe uses the Bonjour service , this service should be disabled.
Computer > Manage > Services and Applications > Services => find the bonjour service (sometimes stated as long numbers), stop service and if the Disabled value. It works!2. If it is not signed as Bonjour service. Try to disable the service:
Shutdown mDNSResponder .exe (he is represented by # Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762 #).It is installed with Adobe software. If you upgrade the Vista, it will generally many users problem!

Random Blue Screen Of Death after upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
I was running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit for many years without any serious problem. After the upgrade to Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit I was prey to a BSOD random. Sometimes I can get several BSOD in one day. Sometimes I could get any same-day heavy after multitasking. The BSOD may occur during any task or when I try to quit. I have the latest drivers and BIOS. I disconnected all my equipment and refurbished it. I used the diagnostic tools to test my memory 4G and my Seagate 1 t SSHD hybrid and they passed. I changed the sata connection cable my HD to the MB. I did a Windows repair (scannow) and also done a repair install and it did not help. Although these questions is past the BSOD after upgrade to Win 7 64 bit, that I suspect may not be associated with Win 64 bit but could be hardware related. Any help to solve this issue will be appreciated.
Kind regards
Chris

Re-install Windows 7 after upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate
Hello
I bought this computer 4 years ago, it came with Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) preinstalled. About a year and a half later, I bought the upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. Well well, long story short, I messed around with some settings (without a saved image), and I am looking to re - install.
Now, here's my question. The key of Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade will still be usable once I re - install Windows 7? And if not, will the OEM keys still work?
The two keys are still usable.
If you have the DVD of Windows 7 Ultimate, you could install using this tutorial.

Need HELP: Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade Windows Vista Edition full
When my phone was broken, one of my friends that he fixed and did not know that it has installed Windows 7 Ultimate in there which is not legitimate. Originally, Windows Vista Home Premium has been installed in it. I want to go back to Windows Vista and I have a drive to install Windows Vista Edition full and wanted to install it without losing my files. How can I do?
Hello
It's not a downgrade.
Unless you have a windows.old folder, you cannot reinstall Vista without losing your files and programs.
You will need to do a clean install.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
You can use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

I'm running vista 32 bit and I think the upgrade to windows 7, I don't know if I choose the upgrade option, I can keep all my files and all the software that I
installed on my laptop but that include photos, video and music and send the parameters I use outlook 2003.

Hello
Depends on which edition of Vista you use on Windows 7 edition, you can switch to.
And as you use 32-bit, you can only switch to Windows 7 32 bit.
32-bit to 64-bit should be done with a clean install.
Before purchasing Windows 7, follow these steps:
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.
Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
