The use of the graphics processor
Hi there, I hope you can help with this problem: during display table for the use of the cpu and the bottom shows it red when he goes on his use of 20%. What it means?
There is an option to break the graph of CPU usage in two sections; time in kernel and user mode time mode. Many devices drivers and the essential elements of the operating system running in the kernel, so that the user-mode run in user mode. This option can be enabled by selecting the kernel schedules on the view menu. When this option is enabled on the chart to use CPU will show one green and one red zone. The red area is the amount of time spent in kernel mode, and the green area indicates the amount of time spent in user mode.

Registry key to disable/uncheck 'Use the graphics processor' Photoshop (Adobe CS6)
Hello
I'm disable/uncheck the option 'Use graphics processor' parameters of the graphics processor (Performance) for all users that connect to a computer. I tried to find the registry key that can do (to create a GPO for that) but without success. Anyone know if this is possible and what will be the registry key that I need to create/change in order to achieve this? Thank you!
Maybe the DisallowOpenGLWindows_ON_D.reg from here will work.
I think you just need to change the version of photoshop from 11.0 to 60.0
11.0 is photoshop cs4
60.0 is photoshop cs6

Lightroom is freezing after updated drivers AMD Catalyst and turn "use the graphics processor. Now I can not turn off in Lightroom, and I don't want to reset all preferences or downgrade my graphics drivers. Can someone tell me what channel in Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs is about using the GPU? Or is this another place?
To the incomparable help suggests the following line changes when the gpu is enabled / disabled (click on the image to enlarge).
I tried both ways, and it is only this value that switches. This isn't what I expect to be called however...

Lightroom crashes and unable to uncheck "use the graphics processor.
Lightroom 6 worked as in a dream, just tried to work on a number of images and whenever I have cultivated an image that Lightroom is not responding and I had to force a stop down. I use W8.1 64 bit desktop and graphics AMD HD 7700. Research on responses that I checked the AMD software that is up to date, last updated Lightroom 6.1.1 (despite being selected automatically he hasn't had not updated itself) and then I tried uncheck the 'use graphics processor' as suggested by Adobe. However, whenever I try to deselect the preferences box checkbox is not responding and I have to close the program. Lightroom is now useless all that have done Adobe?

Cc of Photoshop may not use the graphics processor
I recently bought a new lenovo ideapad 500 with 12 GB memory and 2 GB AMD radeon graphics... Windows 10
I have advised me to alternate PhotoshopCC graphics for faster processing. Unfortunately I can't do this and I get a message (in photoshop)
say that there is a mistake in the graphics driver...
I contacted intel and they assure me that I have the latest version of the driver... HD 500 graphics card... 20.19.15.4352 on December 15, 2015
I also contacted lenovo but they are totally useless and do not respond...
someone else has had this problem and found a solution...
Everything else works fine even if I saw a couple of times the crash site of the screen then get immediately with a message saying that the graphics device stipped but recovered...
Thank you
Let's do a little test
Go to C: > Program Files > Adobe.
Inside of the folder Adobe locate the file named Sniffer / Sniffer.exe.
Rename to Snort centenarians.
Then launch Photoshop app and check. Let us know the results.

Impossible to detect all the graphics processors after the CC 2015.1
The CC 2015.0.1 version worked well on my machine, up to the date that I decided to upgrade to the latest version of Photoshop, 2015.1 CC. I have opened after upgrade successfully to 2015.1, I discovered that Photoshop has not detected any of the graphics cards on my machine. I went to NVIDIA to download version took the graphics card and installed successfully. I have opened NVIDIA Control Panel to add new Photoshop to use "processor NVIDIA high performance.
Then open Photoshop to check if it works or not and no luck for me.
Here is my test of sniffer, I did it without any problem.

System manufacturer: Dell Inc..

Graphics card: Intel (r) HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA NVS 4200 M (v. 354.42)
Finally, I found the solution.
In Nvidia Control Panel, you should definitely add sniffer.exe and discreet as a gpu application photoshop.exe. Photoshop.exe alone is not enough.

HP 6570 b: Installation of the graphics processor dedicated HP 6570 b
I have a HP ProBook 6570b with the i5 and 4 GB
of RAM and Windows 7 Professional, but not
discrete graphics option. Reading on the
Manual, I see that some of these models are sold with
an AMD Radeon HD M 7570. BUT, those who have a 90.
not the adapter 65 Watt adapter w, I've got.
The upgrade would be as simple as the purchase of the
top rated adapter and installation of the GFX card?
Or is it more than that? Is the graphics card above, the only one who would be compatible? Where you do it?I look forward to your reply.
Hello:
There is no graphics "card" in your notebook.
Graphic design is configured as a removable and not scalable chip and the circuit integrated on the motherboard.
The only way that graphs can be upgraded would be completely swap the motherboard with that contained in the service manual for your model with the best graphics.

Hey guys...
Hoping that someone else noticed this. I have a host that is running with a release of U4 freshly updated three virtual machines running. One of the three shows a CPU usage abnormal on customer VIM graphics, but when I'm sitting inside the virtual machine, the CPU usage is normal 3-10% with a bit high spikes every now and than. If anyone else has noticed something weird like that? I restarted the VM and the host and its always show this. VMware Tools are updated etc. His host W2K with 2vCPU and 3 GB of ram.
Thank you!
Each unique Windows 2000 multi proc machine I P2V would had this problem. No exception. The strange thing is that Windows 2000 VM built from scratch are very good. Change the HAL to single proc will correct the problem, but if you really need and processors multiple (as we do) then the only option I found is to play with the advanced VM option 'monitor.idleLoopSpinUS '. A value of 2000 is a good compromise for us.

'Use graphics processor' not available after release of the AMD (Win7 64 bit) driver
After update my drivers for AMD graphics (in an attempt to solve the problem of 'use the graphics processor' Lightroom CC) I noticed that my 'chinless zoom' wasn't working. I have seen that this is related to no GPU support in PS CC. Indeed, I see that it is no more detected after the updated AMD driver (?), although the detection of GPU had been very well before this. Is it possible to convince PS CC that is indeed available or I come to my driver (I'd rather obviously do not do - and which version exactly I don't know...)?

I'm not a designer. I just want to use Indesign and photoshop for basic provisions / the strange brochure.
I got an error message when I download Photoshop yesterday after that I subscribed to the cloud app all. Saying «PHOTOSHOP has IDENTIFIED a PROBLEM WITH THE DISPLAY DRIVER...» AND PROPOSES IMPROVEMENTS TEMPORARILY DISABLED USING THE GRAPHIC MATERIAL.
I looked online and called the line of Adobe tips - United Kingdom: 0207 365 0735. A woman in Photoshop tech told me to uncheck 'Use the graphics processor' in preferences / performance saying I wouldn't have access to 3D in photoshop (not a problem).
Drinking, that she didn't know if it would affect indesign or one of the other applications too? She also advised me to update my graphics card. But when I told him I didn't know if I COULD on an OLD Macbook Pro 2011 that she was unable to answer. Similarly when I contacted the chat for cancellations the woman there are no. ADVICE to OFFER. She did however try and sell me an extra free month IF I Cancel. Not very smart if it does not WORK
God, I despair of the customer service.
I have OSX 10.9.8, 4 MB of memory, graphics AMD Radeon HD 6750 M 1024 MB so this helps.
Thanks in advance, Kay

MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee
Hi all
end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.
My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.
My questions:
- After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
- What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?
Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...
I would appreciate any recommendations and links!
Best regards
Rahel
-As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board
-The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.
-When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?
This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop.

Question about the graphics card of the Satellite P50t-B-108

I think to buy the Toshiba Satellite P50t-B-108 model.
Can you tell me if this phone has some kind of graphic hibrid (he uses both the graphic processor Embedded Intel and AMD one?) or simply the radeon graphics processor?I need to install a linux distribution (I might go with ubuntu, but it's not important) and what I need to know is if the HDMI works...
Thank you.
