Oddly enough, the site I linked to more early does not include a driver for a wireless adapter.

Although it is usually better to get the drivers from the manufacturer of the computer (especially for laptops) from other sources, if you cannot obtain a driver from the manufacturer of the computer, the next best source is the manufacturer of the device or of the less the manufacturer of the chip used in the device.

Go back to the Device Manager or msinfo32 and get the make and model of your wireless adapter.  For a more accurate identification, get the 'Device ID of Instance' (msinfo32 called cela the "PNP device ID").  It is a string of letters and numbers beginning with PCI.  You need only the first part of this string, for example:

PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_2449

You can then search the information here http://www.pcidatabase.com/ -->

I found a British site that offers to sell a collection of drivers for the Packard Bell iGO 2000 series--> http://www.user-guides.co.uk/cddownload/Packard/PackardBell/Packard-Bell-iGo-2000-XP-Driver-CD-Recovery-Restore-Disk-419868.html

You can buy this collection (which may include other drivers you need) or you can confirm the information located on this site that says that your computer has a "Intel Calexico2 (PRO Wireless 2200BG)" with PCI Device ID start wireless adapter PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_4220 (Web site displays the full PCI device ID if you want to compare that indicates your computer).

If this identification is correct for your computer, you can download (free) the driver for this device directly from Intel--> http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/wireless/pro2200bg/ (you can consider running one of the Intel/tools identification also device driver on this web page).

    Hello

When you install another operating system, either through reinstalling which was initially installed or to install another operating system, you must ensure that latest Packard Bell for your model laptop hardware drivers are installed and / or are available.

You don't say what was initially installed in the computer or if you checked to see if Packard Bell supported install Windows 7 on your laptop model.

Here are the links to see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your laptop:

    Hello

Close all programs and then put in a DVD - RW blank = what happens?

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and may your reading/reading on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

This troubleshooting could not help if there is alignment and/or wear issues however it
    a shot.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

  • Satellite M70-337: cannot install the Wlan driver

    Hello!

My Satellite M70-337 has a problem. WiFi does not work and I can't install the driver for network controller. I downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba Web site but it still does not work. If anyone knows what's going on, please let me know.

My email: [email protected] Best Rgs.

    Hey Buddy

Depending on the laptop that you use, you will need to choose the right WLan driver.
Have you downloaded the WLan driver in the computer category laptop good?

It seems that the satellite M70-337 contains the number of PSM77E and that is why you chose this series of mobile in the download form.

Check that you have installed the wireless network card. It is important because the laptop might be bundled with various wireless network cards; for example with Intel or Atheros.

I think that if you chose the right laptop and use the good Wlan card that everything will work out ;)

    Hi all

I have a weird question, I was installing an win7 x 64 for my G1 430 Probook, that I bought yesterday. The thing is, I got everything but most importantly, the WLAN driver. I downloaded the correct drivers on your site, I have tried 2 different types, (I checked it is said he did for x 64) none of them wasn't working and gave the same error message: 'It is possible that the program is not installed properly' and whenever I start previews files Setup, just of freezes and gives the same error message (windows). I tried to open it as administrator, well Yes, it must be run as administrator, so it was a bit ineffective.

TL; DR: Probook 430 G1 with win7 x 64 WLAN driver does not work.

    Hello:

To please do so and I'll post the link to the wireless card driver you need.

Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the control of the network window.

Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

Drop down on it and select the second item in the list (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters that start with PCI\VEN

  • Installing the WLan driver resolved connection WLan on Satellite P200 problems

Finally after 2 days of useless trying to get my wireless card to recognize my home network I came across the solution. I have a satellite P200 which used the AtherosAR5007EG adapter.

If you return to the Windows XP 32-bit drivers it works like a charm. Installed the new driver and it found my network right away, and I could get on the internet.

    Hello

  • Re: Satellite L300D and Win7 - cannot find the WLAN driver

I have the Satellite L300D (PSLC8C-06T01R) I just got this in the month; I decide to put Windows 7 on thinking there would be all the necessary drivers. Well I was wrong; Once I installed 7 we find all drives but the wireless card. I don't then told me the Vista disks would work on Windows 7 so I tried and no luck, I then put Vista on and everything was fine, then when I went to look for the driver for the wireless card in Vista, it doesn t do anything the card is always 'does not work correctly.

Vista Atheros wireless drivers or something else on the site Web of Toshiba don t do anything.

If anyone has the same problem made me know, or if anyone knows how to fix this or even if it is possible to find the drivers for windows 7 that would be great cuz that s my goal (Windows 7)

Please as soon as possible I need this laptop at the University.

For me, it makes sense to collect all relevant information before you do something again. Obviously you didn't check before installing Win7 Toshiba support page. Until that Win7 is not released Toshiba will offer no tricks of Win7.

As I see you have Canadian cell phone model and I don't know what WLAN card is inside, but in your a story thing confused me. You have installed Vista again. I assume you have done this with original Toshiba recovery image. This recovery image is designed for certain model of laptop and contains all the necessary drivers for all hardware components. I don't understand what the problem with the wireless network card.
I have to ask you if you have installed Vista with the Toshiba recovery image?

  • s S10-3 wlan driver problem

Hello, my problem is that I can't use WiFi on my netbook: s10-3s (model '0703'). I formatted the hard drive and install windows7 32 bit (before is was the same, but the starter edition). Usually everything works like magic with win7, but not with the hardware of this netbook. Graphicschip, Ethernet and WirelessLan did not work after the new installation of windows. I went on site support lenovo and downloaded all the drivers in the sections for material that did not work properly. This fixed my problem with the intel graphicschip and the ethernet controller, so I could connect to the internet via my router lan cable. After downloaded and installed all the drivers wlan 4 listed for my model, it was still not working. I have no more unknown device in Device Manager, but I does not recognize wlan networks, so I doubt that any driver worked. I read that the netbook can have one of these chips-WiFi: atheros, broadcom and intel. My netbook seems to have a broadcom one (it says "Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter" in the properties of the adapter). the switch wlan on my netbook is turned on and the led is lit thanks in advance

Ah good... How should I know this?

I solved the problem by installing the power management driver...

the feature of the fn + f5 was not installed at all. After installing the driver I could turn on wlan with fn + f5 and it worked.
