• Not able to start Weblogic Server

  Hi all

  I'm on OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 11.1.1.7.0@win@Linux box.  Once installed it I connect as well, but had to close due to the server maintenace. When I try to start it again with the startWebLogic.sh I get the following error:

  I tried to update the boot.properties file located in:

  I am facing some problems.
  
  I used JDeveloper 11 g to do the same thing and it worked.
  
  I found that JDeveloepr 10.1.3.5 isn't any Assistant for Weblogic 10.3 connection, all the available wizards are
  for the version server 10.1.X.
  
  So please tell me if it is possible to do.
  
  The reason why I'm doing this is because I can't create composite applications, that my project only works with projects of the BSE.
  
  As I am new to Oracle SOA suite, I downloaded accidentally JDeveloper 11 g and SOA Suite 11 g etc.
  
  But I found that JDEveloper 11 g cannot create projects of BSE, it can only create composite projects.
  
  So I downloaded JDeveloper 10.1.3.5. So please help me configure the IDE with the Weblogic Server I.
  
  If it is not possible, please suggest that the App Server and version of OSB should I install.

  You use Jdeveloper 11 for WebLogic server 10.3.

  Projects of the BSE are now called mediator within a composite application. If you create the composite application and then insert a mediator object. When you open the mediator object, you get the old style 10g ESB project.

• Attempt to package a jar of shared library in the ear file. error wlappc

  I try to deploy files jar like shared libraries and decided to follow the recommendation to wrap the pots inside the separate ear files. I include all the modules in the ear, because each of them is designed to be deployed as a shared library. Jar files are placed in the APP-INF/lib directory. The manifest file in the directory META-INF of the ear contains name information and the version of the extension that I would use for these pots. When I run wlappc in my build the wlappc generates an error. I ran weblogic. DDConverter on the ear and the same error was generated. See below. Apparently, the error is caused by the fact that I do not declare all modules in the application.xml file. I found several examples of how package libraries with the help of a war. Even looking at the files in the C:\bea10.3.3\wlserver_10.3\common\deployable-libraries . I found no examples using the Archives of the ear.
  
  My question is how can I do this. I'd rather do not creation of dummy modules. The documentation seems unclear to me in this area. I would really appreciate the help on this ASAP.

  You must create at least a model Module...
  Because the Standard EAR file must contain at least one valid... WAR... EJB jar... .or an ordinary Java Module.

  Your Exception clearly said... There is no present valid Module in your "application.xml" file which is the root cause of this issue.

  NOTE: Still, if you do not want to create a Module inside your Application of EAR... then you can go ahead with the optional Packages. Optional packages also provides the same functionality as shared libraries... In this fit you can deploy a Plain Jar file on the server as an optional package, and other Applications can make reference to it.   I downloaded Oracle EBS https://edelivery.oracle.com/EPD/ 12.2.0 and selected for "outsourced manufacturing and Oracle for discrete Industries R12.2 V5 (12.2.3) v1, Linux x 86-64" on the page

  downloaded the files required for the staging area, in the Linux x86_64 gave error for "file name V29856 - 01.zip Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.6) Generic and coherence but on oracle delivery page, I can only find Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.6) and coherence for the file name of Linux x 86" : V29851 - 01.zip which is already uploaded on the stage space, how can I find the file in the site or should I rename to V29856 - 01.zip you please help me on this problem.

  I think I got an idea after reading it several times

  This is what I understood

  checksum is a failure, so you use version 12.2 Overview disk file (1320300.1) to find which zip file must be downloaded. The overview shows V29856 - 01.zip downloaded but delivery file only has V29851 - 01 V29856 - 01.zip instead.

  I remember something like downloaded this sometimes return that I did checksum digest view used to check the integrity of files and went ahead with the buildstage.sh script to build the stadium. I have been able to complete installation without problems.

  You could try the same thing or try to rename as you suggest.

  I also recommend to contact support so that you will be clear and they will get to know.

Data Mover Bootstrap and application designer can connect to the instance of database successfully. About PIA, Oracle Database Server and Application Server Tuxedo11gR1 runs correctly. But when to start WebLogic Server in the opt/PT8.53/webserv/PT853/bin directory, I get an error message like below:

  As Nicolas says that you cannot start PIA on ports below 1024 on Linux with a non-root users.

  Recreate your PIA assembly and affect others like 8000 and 4443.
