Their Windows 7 update

I found my old computer with windows 7 already installed. But as it was old, I decided to get my pc to factory setting, which has removed all windows update in process. But now, the update will not install again. It will not even display an error code. I just go into windows update, click Find updates, then it stops, it just keep saying check updates forever. I'm sure that its not just take more time to check, since I left it on for hours and it still says 'Check updates'

I've used update of windows troubleshooting tool to find all issues, there are usually two or three things wrong with my system, and he also said that they have been resolved but it does not work, and I ran it three times just to make sure, she repeats. Found to solve three problems->--> update has always the same problem.

I also looked for any virus with a good program that many people use and trust (I can't say the name, because it is not in English). It has found a virus that I have in my computer somehow (I left my computer to my friend to the factory setting and it was installing essential programs, I think that he has downloaded with that) I fixed it, but it does not solve the problem.

I tried to make sfc / SCANNOW command in cmd, it went through it fine, but it will not pick up problems.

How ever there are other issues related to this fixit said was the corrupt problem entered in the register, almost everthing verified fixit showed was in trouble.

I tried "the pirates of registry" and does not really depend on their ability, the problem is still there.

I changed the name on the wba file and had validated the operating system for the second time, no help at all.

Although I could never use the web site windows update, I had automatic updates, windows allowed 132 + updates to install, even this will be undate is no longer this device, I tried to turn the auto update turned off the system restart, then activation updates, which did not help.

  • How to stop windows defender updates to install immediately

I have Vista SP2, fully implemented to date. Processor 3 Ghz, 2 GB ram.  I have my windows updates set to automatic at 03:00.  These always install at 03:00 or when I select Install.  The problem I have is that these Windows Defender updates install immediately as soon as my pc starts or soon there after.  They seem to be ignoring my settings of windows updates.  It really drives me crazy because I have to wait and stop what I want to do both.  Windows defender updates slow down my pc or freeze the programs sometimes while I'm trying to use the pc.  Same IE9 sometimes freezes because of them.  Sometimes, I have to restart the pc to make it work well. They scan as soon as they install and they install as soon as they are published.  They are supposed to be for help, not to make my pc use miserable.  How can I make windows defender updates obey my windows update settings?

Have you tried to install manually instead of by means of automatic updates?

NIS 2012 should have disabled Windows Defender when it has been installed on your Vista operating system.  You turn Windows Defender?

What you describe as gel application hangs, looks slow performance software conflicts such as those that occur between contradictory antimalware programs.

I no longer use Windows Defender because of the risk of conflicts and problems with MSE.  I know people who have asked for advice in the forums etc who have had similar problems that you and their options were to uninstall or disable Windows Defender or uninstall their existing such as MSE, Norton, AVG, AV program.  Uninstall Windows Defender is not necessary, eliminated the problems of error messages, etc.

You may notice the following excerpt from:

    MSE and Windows Defender

Q: what happens if I do not disable or uninstall Windows Defender, if I use Microsoft Security Essentials?
A: If Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender are both running, your system can know the performance degradation and other problems caused by the conflict of two services providing real-time protection at the same time.

The same Council also applies to people who use NIS, and Windows Defender.

If you want to ignore my suggestions it is certainly your option.

If you can continue to follow this thread maybe someone else will have another suggestion for your question.

    Kind regards...

  • Windows Vista update causes applications non - IE to be denied access to the internet

I have a laptop Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 unfortunately comes with a Windows Vista Home Premium OS that has caused me a lot of problems with conflicts between her and others, package applications, and now I am forced to use my network at home for route information and documents that must move through the internet by sharing them with another computer Windows XP which is also configured exactly as my Lenovo IdeaPad Y510. I look forward to wean myself off of all MS products, possibly other that MS Office, I use a lot and plays always well for me to wire many years and updates/upgrades. Not the same for MS Windows Vista, however. My experience, similar to many other forum users, has been constantly frustrating over the years I've had to deal with it.  I lost a lot of time dealing with problems caused by code errors in the last set of MS Windows Vista updates that made all my package applications that require internet access unusable.

I contacted the support of Lenovo and support forums for my problem, and they too cannot provide all the answers that address this issue that is causing me to spend much too much time I could use to work at a rate of $65 / hr, so you can see that this is not only an inconvenience.

Before someone points me to the myriad other similar positions for possible answers, let me say that I probably have alread read it and tried all the suggested actions, without success. I need to REAL answers and REAL support, and I need it NOW.  Also, I don't think I should have to pay for the support which has been made necessary by the negligence of MS to test their updates for compatibility issues with the popular, free package critical applications for the safety of MS OS system of a user, such as AVG Free antivirus, ZoneAlarm Free firewall personal , OR who are competitors for their navigation on the web or by email client applications. I am not now under the other another firewall that MS Vista firewall having had to uninstall my firewall ZoneAlarm Free. I even had one of my other previously compatible and effective anti-malware/spyware apps, AdAware, uninstall Lavasoft. No matter what I did, which was suggested to me by MS resources support or Lenovo support resources, this problem, which began shortly after the last round of all the months of downloads to fix security and facilities, persists and cost me more money in revenue and lost time every day.

Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

    1. a System Restore to before the updates:

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

System restore steps according to the info above.

    Also:

    2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

  • Windows 7 update program

I have Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop and my desktop computer

Due to various problems, I did a restore on the laptop in June, retroactively to the date that updates have been released this month. Since I did it, the available updates do not appear on the laptop until ten days after the patch release date. The office gets their calendar

I use the manual installation, preferably. It was not a problem. I don't want to use check updates, which is notoriously slow.

Could the restoration have to sort of 'reset' the clock to the time at which the updates appear?

Yes the system restore is not a great way to get rid of things

System images are but only with a free utility of third party reliable

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=KQA7NlLvxg8

I would use this to restore windows updates services

Download the file of the Option 3 bat allows to do it for you, it is perfectly safe and automated.

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/91738-Windows-update-reset.html

    Personally, I prefer this one

Use Option 2 on the list after right click and select run as administrator

    https://Gallery.technet.Microsoft.com/scriptcenter/reset-Windows-Update-Agent-d824badc

    Download in your downloads folder

Right-click and select extract all in the downloads folder.

Then right-click on ResetWUEng and select run as administrator

Follow the rest of the guides messages

    Press any key to continue

Type 2 for this Option on the list and the Enter key to reset the update services...

Press y for Yes and then the Enter key I think twice

    After that that he completed

Type 15 for this option and the Enter key to restart the machine.

Must they will restart in 60 seconds will save your work... Press a key to continue.

After reboot, go to windows updates and manually check the updates shouldn't take a few minutes.

    Dear Microsoft community team,

I installed the Windows (27) - 8 and Office 2010 updates yesterday that was recommended in the notifications of security & systems.

After installing these updates (27) in my HP Envy h8 - 1520t PC, my programs said crash and stop and start automatically. This has been a recurring problem with the updates of Windows-8 that I installed in my new PC.

As a result, I am unable to play my favorite games, use applications and have constant program blocks.

I am very disappointed with these problems. I bought a copy of OEM OS-Windows 7 PRO 64 bit and would like to downgrade from Windows-8 to-Windows 7 PRO 64-bit OS. Can you please provide me with instructions to install Windows - 7 PRO on my PC?

I spent countless hours online and search for bugs on the web sites of Microsoft for Windows-8 updates of the anomalies and corrections, with no resolution. HP has no alternative but to contact Microsoft support. I can't find a link email Microsoft support anywhere.

Please help me as soon as possible. Many individuals have downgraded to Windown-8 to-Windows 7 PRO with positive results on their HP Envy h8 - 1520 t PC. I never had a problem with the Windows 7 operating system.

  • 27 - 1110ea: Windows 7 update does not update

    Hello

I did now 2 installs fresh with the HP recovery discs and both windows update does not work. I tried different patches from microsoft that I found online in this regard and nothing works.

I don't know if it's related, but said SP1 is installed, but when I look in the installed updates it isn't here. If I try to uninstall from a command promt it says is not installed and if I try to install it from the microsoft download it says it is installed.

It makes me crazy. I was expecting it to work from a clean install, but it doesn't.

    Any help would be great.

    Hello

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

If it says SP1 is included, it means it is included and comes with the system, so you can not unintall it - it is part of the system - built in. You will not see the updates installed because it's built, do not subsequently installed.

It is a known problem that now when you perform a clean installation of Windows 7, the installation updates will be delayed. This is due because of many things including the fact that W7 is more priority Microsoft because of new OS on the juice of the horizon: like Windows 10. Some users have reported that after the new facility it may take hours of waiting until Windows 7 poster updates are available. But don't worry - they are not that critics and you shouldn't worry so much for them.

I can offer a workaround is to:

-Windows 7 update agent be manually updated to the latest version > > https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/kb/949104

-Download directly from MS "April 2015 battery maintenance update" and install it manually

    > > https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3020369

-Download Win 7 convenience roll update and install it manually

This update package, which combines updates dating all the way back to February 2011, is not be made available in Windows Update. If you install a Windows 7 system from scratch, you will need to go out of your way to download and install it. If you do not, Windows Update will download and install the updated way on day one by one, the slower, more tedious.

You have now all the updates of Windows 7 since its initial release until may 2016

After that, you try to install the new updates.

I hope it works for you. Let me know how it goes.

  • Reinstall the original software after Windows 10 update

When I bought my HPE-180 t, it came with Adobe products already installed as part of the package I bought.  After the Windows 10 update, it became necessary to reinstall Adobe first Elements 8 and she asks a code that did not come with disks. What should I do?

Windows 10 normally do that unless the application is too old.  Adobe Elements 8 first seems to be 2009, well before 10 Windows.  You may need to get a newer version.

  • Windows 7, update services does not work

-Downloaded System Update Readiness of windows to resolve the error (Windows6 1 - KB982018 - v3 - x 64). When installing, I get the error 0xc8000247. So I'm not able to install this software.

Windows 7, update services does not, RESOLVED.

The problem occurs when you change your hard drive for a bigger, in my hard drive of the case a GB Western Digital 340 WD 750 GB drive hard.

For the Windows automatic updates again you need update the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driverdriver. It will not be updated when you have intel check your drivers! For me, only the 9.5.6.1001 version worked. This driver can be found at http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02219204 .

Versions available at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng & ProductFamily = Software + Products & ProductLine = Chipset + Software & ProductProduct = Intel % c2% ae + Rapid + Storage + Technology + (Intel % c2% ae + RST) did not work for me (I tried the form version 12.8.0.106 08/08/2013.) Why does not the superior version is not clear to me.

Good luck to solve you yours it took me two weeks to find it.

    Ed.

    Hi Amby,

You can try to install the updates in Mode without failure.  To do this, please follow the instructions below.

When the computer restarts, press F8 while it is starting up.
In the Advanced Boot Menu of Options, select Mode safe mode with networking
Once the computer starts in Mode safe, it will hopefully install the updates that you have problems with.  If this does not work, try the following steps to perform a system restore.

    1. Insert your Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive and start your computer

    2. Press any key when the message "press any key to boot from the CD or DVD shows on the screen.

    3. Select a language, a time and currency, and a keyboard or input method, and then click Next.

    4. click on repair your computer.

    5. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, select the drive of your Windows installation and click Next

    6. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, click System Restore.

    7. follow the System Restore Wizard and choose the appropriate restore point.

    8. click Finish to restore the system.

Please let us know if you need more help, or have any other questions.  Thank you.

Quote your full version of Windows (for example, WinXP SP3;) Windows XP 64 - bit SP2; Vista SP1; Vista 64 - bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64 bit) when you post in a forum or a newsgroup. Please do it in your next reply.

What application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?  What anti-spyware (other than Defender) applications?  What third-party firewall (if applicable)?

A (another) Norton or McAfee application has already been installed on the computer (for example, a free trial version which is preinstalled when you bought it)?

  • C5180: All IN ONE PRINTER FOR WINDOWS 10 UPDATE

I got a message from HP support updating Windows 10 for my printer.  When I completed the update, screen says that it has failed.  Update was for Windows 8.  I followed troubleshooting without result.  Printer for Windows 10 update is available?

Contacted HP support line.  Apparently, even if my computer is new, he had a lot of viruses on it, causing it to be lazy, etc.  I paid a tax, the computer cleaned by HP online.  Computer works fine now.  I went back to 8.1 for Microsoft.  He suggested that I wait a few months than 10 has been out a while before trying again 10.  Focus on the upgrade of printer to 10 at the time.
