  It could work according to the architecture of Windows 7 installed. If you have Windows 7 64 bit installed, it may not work because the software could have 16-bit code not supported by 64 bit versions of Windows.

  Last night I've used Skype and some other Web pages open as well when my computer suddenly froze and I had to reboot. When I did, he worked briefly, but froze again.   Check carefully for malware, then run cleaning as shown below - and then if necessary run start
